Very nice large, really large place to walk through. This place has the most extensive antique furniture I have seen in a long while. The main building is air-conditioned while the back half is not. They do have big commercial fans blowing in strategic areas and it is bearable for most people for a short while. It is July 8, 2023. It is 91 degrees outside the building. You are bound to find stuff in here you just can't leave without. Stop in and tell them Dave sent you. No you won't get a discount. Sorry!

Decent selection, most things are a little overpriced, but not everything. On one item I selected that had been marked down, the cashiers decided it couldn’t be the “real price” (I guess they thought I had changed the price myself with a pencil?) and decided to arbitrarily increase the price. I found that sloppy and unprofessional. Maybe they skim off the top. But it’s an okay store.

The owner called someone about a clothespin bag that didn't have a price. I stood by while she called. I heard her say that the seller wanted $10 and I heard her tell them sneakily, "I'll get you $12". I found my wife in the syore and we went to the cashier. I paid the $12 fir the bag. I then turned and faced the owner and told her. " I heard the seller wanted $10 and you told her you would get her $12. I don't appreciate you adding to a sellers price when you've already been told what to sell it for. "I think she was being greedy and sneaky which I find disgusting as a customer. I will never shop here again and I will tell everyone I talk with that this business is greedy and deceptive. Shame on them. God saw the whole thing.

There's just something about this place I like so much. And the guys working there are very accommodating.But I would appreciate a bargain more often than not. That means drop the price when I asked sometimes.

I enjoyed my stroll thru Backyard Treasures. Very large area to cover if you are looking at everything. I am usually not looking for one thing impartiality l, so I could look all day long. Very neatly laid out and the staff was sweet, they offered help, and yet they did not hinder our plundering and looking. Awesome!

Oh my goodness at the stuff! If I had the money I would've left with half the store. Such a great selection of old and new goodies. Several antique options. You'll think the store just keeps going and going the more doors you go thru! The back area is hot! They do warn you with signs before going back there. They have garage doors open for ventilation and fans going as well. The staff was friendly and helped when we couldn't find a price. We ended up having to leave, but once they found the price they called us and we went back to pick up the item. Very helpful!! A must if you love looking around and antiquing.

Just to be clear, this is an indoor flea market with different vendor's "booths" throughout the rather large building. A very nice variety of old and new pieces - everything I checked out was reasonably and appropriately priced. The staff are all wonderful, helpful and very accommodating. A great place to wander around and find treasures!

I was at this shop last week. LOVED IT!!! The people were friendly and helpful!!! There was something I was interested in buying that didn’t have a price so they called the owner on the phone, right on the spot!They also have a huge variety of stuff. They have beautiful furniture, old tools and glassware of all shapes and sizes.They’re prices were reasonable, too. I highly recommend this business.

This is one of my favorite antique/thift shops to visit in Dothan. Their vendors do a great job changing up their booths often and bringing in unique items. The staff are always friendly and I typically leave with a treasure in hand.

My mother, best friend and I visited Backyard Treasures today. This was such a treat for all 3 of us because we love antiques. The sales lady or owner was friendly, down to earth, knowledgeable, and cheerful. She was attentive without following us around. We spent nearly two hours in here and had a blast. We are going back Saturday with a truck to make several purchases. We hope the things were looking at are still available but if they aren't the selection is so large we'll surely see other great finds to purchase. We can't wait!

Hands down the best antique store in the area! Great items and fantastic prices! Recently purchased a butcher block here. Its absolutely beautiful and I got it at a great price and they even had some strong fellas to load it up for me. I come all the way from Pensacola FL just to shop here. Never disappointed!

Stopped in on a whim and had the best afternoon. The staff is so welcoming, the shop is clean and huge compared to what you first see. It's a " Stall" set up but done very well. Please do yourself a favor and go into the very back room. Heavenly!

We went here for a uhaul rental and this is the BEST experience we had had with them. The store is absolutely darling and the employee who helped us (Zayn) was FANTASTIC. The most polite and professional uhaul employee we have EVER meet. The truck was clean and ready to go. Service was quick and simple. If you are looking for the best uhaul location period, this is seriously it.For the owners if Mr. Zayn isn't up for a pay raise he should be! He did great!

Typical antique/flea market. Had lots of different items. Some wonderful antiques, with typical prices but some of the rented stalls had better prices but also had flea market type items along with various antiques. If you enjoy browsing its a fun way to spend afternoon. Lots of stalls in back thats easy to miss so be sure to walk thru all the front rooms for antiques and look in back for misc furniture, nick nacks etc... (back not air conditioned). But fun time anyway.
