The Groomers were very gentle with our little Yorkie. They made her feel at ease right off the bat. They were also attentive to my wife and I, as to what we wanted for our pet. They done a fantastic job with her and the cost was better than the previous groomer we were using. I definitely recommend for all pet owners! We will definitely be returning customers! They also have several cute puppies for sale at really good pricing, hint, hint husbands and fathers, for those wives and children that really want them! 😊

I'm very pleased with the friendly service, good care and nice grooming that my dog (Missy) receives at A Pooches Paradise. They keep a written record of how we like our dog groomed, which makes it easier when we drop Missy off.

I used Pooches paradise to board my 2 schnauzers and my son’s shitzu! She board dogs at her home. When we came out she seem very caring and stated that she doesn’t crate the dogs all day and said they get a lot of playing time. She kept our fur babies for a week for the first time and when we picked them up, their crate bed was wet with urine and their regular dog bed that we let them lay around on outside of the crate was soiled with feces. She ensured me that she keep the dogs sleeping conditions as they are use to at home. I informed her my son’s dog isn’t use to a crate and he sleeps in the bed with someone. When we got his dog he appears to have lost weight and was very frightened. Bugs was in his dog food. They were all very thirsty like they had not drunk any water all day. My son’s dog was extremely hungry. When I texted to check on them a few times she informed me they were doing great. She never stated that she had any problems with any of them not wanting to eat due to being frightened or anything. I texted Janese regarding my concerns since I’ve gotten them back and it has been 2 days and I still haven’t heard anything with any explanation. Now this leaves me to believe that they were not properly cared for during their stay. I do not recommend them for boarding services. Not sure how she is with grooming services as I use Dream puppies.

My husband brought my husky in today. Because of covid and our other groomer being booked up, she has went a year without being groomed. I was well aware that her belly and backs of legs would need to me shave!! But this woman took it apon herself to shave her whole entire body down!! A double coated dog, which is a major NO No... then on top of that, charged $100 to do nothing but shave her!!!!I called to discuss why my dog was shaved and I immediately got an attitude, was cussed out and called a liar all because I asked why my dog was shaved!! Absolutely pathetic excuse for customer service! I am absolutely dumbfounded that this woman is in business with this type of morals and attitude!

Let me just start by saying my husband and I live an hour away and we were making last minute plans in dothan with last minute plans on grooming our sweet fur baby. I called several places and all said they weren't accepting anymore grooming appointments so I tried Mrs. Jenise at A Pooches Paradise and she fit us in! My husband and I agree that we have never had better care or a better grooming experience with anyone else! Everyone did a wonderful job with our dog and she looks wonderful and her coat feels wonderful. Not only did they squeeze her last minute appointment in on Easter Saturday but they didn't rush and took their time to do a fantastic job! We would recommend them to anyone! I love Pooches Paradise! Especially Ashley! She groomed our little Brittany on Saturday & was so good with her! Brittany gets so scared & anxious but Ashley knew just how to handle her - with a lot of patience & tender, loving care. She spoke so calmly to her. We arrived early to pick Brittany up & she had just started grooming her. We knew she was going to be one if the last ones but our shopping was done & we live outside of Dothan & didn't want to make 2 trips. So we saw first hand the care & attention Ashley gave to Brittany. We are scheduled to come back in 2 weeks. I highly recommend Pooches Paradise to anyone looking for a great place to have their fur babies groomed!

My dog has never shaked when I gave him a bath for the last two years, I take him to try this place out, and I regret it. He threw up when we got home, yellow foam. He was sick, he finally feels better three days later. I gave him a bath three days later because whatever they used on him, has made him smell really bad. He has marks on him where they cut him. They definitely rushed the service, I know, I showed up when they were supposed to be down, hours later they were clipping his nails and rush cutting, him yelping, he never does, and now he shakes. He never did. I absolutely believe the younger lady is the menace type behind closed doors. Be careful. I'm sure it's all dependant on her attitude that day, how the dogs will be treated. Never again shall I go back. It's a business that only have two groomers, both of which, seem very iffy.

I absolutely LOVE this groomer! My pup went from zero to hero with this amazing place!! My pup has really bad anxiety when it comes to grooming and feeling cornered so he gets slightly aggressive. But the owner and other groomer calmed him down enough to make him look extremely beautiful and explained how we could overcome his nervousness together!!!! You will not be disappointed when you go to A Pooches Paradise!!!!!!

Mrs. Jenise was AWESOME! We have searched and searched to find a groomer for a 15 week old Morkie- one that was clean and we could trust with our little cutie and finally with the help of a good friend, found A Pooches Paradise! She did an incredible job, made sure we were happy with the cut and spent time visiting with us! An incredible find, and one worth sharing!!

They do a great job and take perfect care of my maltipoo, Lucy. Other places have had to sedate her because she gets so nervous but they handle her with ease. It’s refreshing to not have to worry while she’s at the groomers. Thanks Jenise!

If your one of those weird people like myself where your furry four footed friends are more like your "kids" than just a pet, well then I have finally found the perfect place to send my "kids" to get pampered and groomed by people who feel the same way "We" do, well then I highly recommend it to you to discover it yourself as I did If nothing else other than just stopping in to meet Jenise (the owner) and Ashlee (a groomer) you'll quickly see that this is the place you'll start trusting with your "kids" Feels like home and that's important.
