Good store with great prices and awesome customer service

While the store, and it's targeted audience has changed a lot since I was a child, and it was Wiley's Outdoor Sports. They carry nice products, and brands. The problem I have is that the store is so crowded with product, that it isn't comfortable to navigate. There is little room to get around. While I am sure this isn't a problem for some people, it causes me to have issues, especially due to my claustrophobia. It's worth the visit if you are looking for the brands and products they offer, just be prepared if you have any social anxiety, or are claustrophobic. **Note: I am editing this review, and changing the star rating from a 3 to a 5, as I realize that the customer service, and offerings are well worth a 5 star review for the general customer base. So, while I admit that the selection of quality brands, and products, as well as the customer service all warrant a 5 star experience. The overcrowding can be overwhelming, and make it hard for some people to shop. I do thank the owners for such a quick reply, and concern for every customer experience. I remember visiting in the 80's, and while it has been about 6 years since I frequented the store, my review is not based on what they sell, just my personal anxieties. I also realize that personal anxieties shouldn't warrant a merchant getting anything less than what they deserve in a review. I do hope this clears up my original input.

First time here since we moved to Decatur a few months ago! I will definitely be back. They have so much selection of the coolest outdoor brands. They have so many shoes/boots. They’ve got everything for the whole family plus your pets!! Please go here. They will not disappoint. It’s clean and the staff is very friendly. It is comparable to REI and Mountain Outfitters…and honestly probably better. Plus right now they are running killer sales

Just looking around the store & seeing a lot of cool stuff & lot on sale from 20 to 40% on merchandises like customer appreciation & more & anytime to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the store. It sure has a lot of good stuff for customers to have for their needs before going outdoors & maybe even going to Smoky Mountains National Park & anywhere closer from here.

Stumbled across this store for the first time to exchange a gift that someone got for me. I was immediately assisted by the cashier, who took me directly where the item I needed to exchange was. He was super nice and helpful. I was also able to find a beautiful sweater with the help of Shelly. Great quality products, and phenomenal customer service from both employees I interacted with. Will definitely be back.

they have a great selection of outdoor brands and products and also unique pieces that you don't find just anywhere. the absolute best customer serviceI moved an hour away from Wiley's and I text the owner asking for certain things and she sent photos and held my stuff for me to get the next day. 5 star customer service and I'm well pleased with the prices as well. I'll never stop shopping there.

My husband and I were in town looking to purchase a pair of new sunglasses from Costa. We’d been everywhere around and mostly all the stores either didn’t assist us or didn’t have what I was looking for. We searched online and Wiley’s came up. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and directed to the sunglasses. A man opened the glass case to allow me to try on sunglasses. I decided on a pair and was surprised to see that they were 30% off! I am loving my new Costa’s and Wileys is one of my new found favorite stores in Decatur. Thanks!

Have been shopping here for many years. After moving from Decatur, we still drive (at least once a month) from Madison to shop. Customer service is always excellent as well as the prices on EVERYTHING! Do yourself a favor, and support this small business; you won't be disappointed.

Great brands, wide selection, friendly staff. You don’t have to wait until things are out of season before you can get a good deal on them. Wiley’s has great deals from the get go. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Ask them! They may be able to order it in for you.
