Staff are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, and very responsive over Facebook Messenger and phone. They shared a lot of good, relevant information when I went looking for a food that excluded a long list of my dog’s allergens, and didn’t balk when i asked them to do extra research for me since I’m blind and often have trouble finding specific product information on inaccessible websites. I just wish they were closer to where I live, but otherwise had a fantastic experience working with them.

Dave is a great guy. I needed a special urinary care cat food equivalent to the one I was getting from the vet, but cheaper. Dave came through and found me the cat food in the large bag. I have saved bunches and my cats don’t eat as much. I also buy their 50 lb blue bag dog food and they are eating less than the name brand I was buying. Their food for cats and dogs is a lot more nutritious. They have good quality food. Go buy and see Dave cause he’ll fix you up and you’ll be satisfied.

I will be going nowhere else but here for my dog's food or treats anymore! I was asked what kind of dog I have, weight, any allergies, etc and then was recommended specific foods that would be perfect for her. He even explained the different ingredients in the food and compared them to what I've been feeding her to give me a better idea of the difference between quality. He answered all my questions and was very kind. You can tell he really cares about his job and your pet's wellbeing in general; he REALLY knows his stuff! This store isn't just trying to take your money and will even talk to you about the best quality foods at lower prices. In the end, you'll be saving money and your pet will be healthier. It's a win win!

I discussed with David, and another employee, the issues my dog was having with digestion issues and allergies. He researched and explained the ingredients in what I've been feeding, in order to compare with the food he has in stock. He made sure, before I left, that I knew he would work with me until we found the right food to help her with both of her issues. He mentioned several times to call them and let them know how she tolerated the food. You can tell they really care about your pet's wellbeing; and he REALLY knows his stuff! I'm so excited that I decided to go in today. I am super vigilant, and want the best ingredients for my babies.

My mother and I buy dog food here every week for our little maltichon. We love the friendly staff and the good old fashioned mom and pop atmosphere. David is so sweet to help us and make friendly conversation, and if there is anything that we need that isn’t there, he’ll order it right away. It’s a great store. Plus, there is a friendly Dalmatian who greets us. Who could ask for anything more?

Dave is wonderful.....he was very helpful with getting all natural organic foods for my 2 long haired dachshunds. SUPERB AND OFF THE CHARTS!Love, Love this store. The gentleman is so kind, helpful, doesn't make you feel rush nor a burden. He's been like this since DAY ONE the minute I walked in that door with my sweet little service dog Sophie! He also acknowledges Sophie and never leaves her out. I live an hour away on the weekend's and other times 3 to 4 hours through the week. I drive to this store to buy Sophie's Fromm dog food & treats. David is very friendly and knowledgeable about a wide variety of pet food. We went in looking for our usual cat food and he gave us samples of a food he more highly recommended. He answered all of our questions and was eager to help. He really wants people to be able to give their animals the best food they can. I will definitely be getting my pet food here from now on.

Absolutely love doing business with them! My Irish wolfhound has had tummy trouble more often than I can count. Finally asked Mr. Dave for his opinion and be swapped me over to a new food and we haven't had any problems since! I'm also paying about $15 less than I was at the chain store and getting better quality food!

A small private owned business that is awesome. They have just what you need, or can get it for you at a much lower cost. Very friendly. All of my dog food is bought their. I have 7 Italian Greyhounds plus 5 three week old puppies.

Great store! We used to use Fromm dog food but could only buy it at Hollywood Feed in Huntsville which got to be a hassle. Now I can just pop in to The Pet Food Store on my way home from work whenever I need a bag or two and I'm set, and at a lower price than most other places! I'm also always happy to check in with Daisy, the store's doggy monitor.

Great food, treats, and accessories for great prices! The guys there are always friendly and helpful, and Lucy is a sweet girl! All five of my dogs, two shih-tzus and three German Shepherd mixes, are on Victor Professional in the purple bag. I love having one quality food that all of them will eat and I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for it.

In my opinion the best place to go for dog/cat food. They carry great brands at lower than online or other store prices. Staff is very helpful as well. Plus if the store doesn't have what your looking for they will gladly order it and usually have it in store within 2 days. Can't ask for better service than that.

Very knowledgeable staff with quality products. There are 3 levels of food care for your pets. You can buy food at Walmart and not care, you can overpay at petco or you can shop at the pet food state and know your getting the best.
