There's a couple employees here that like to lie, sneak around, and cheat in their everyday lives. They also post about others on social media, making fun of possible mental illnesses they may have. They claim I start drama, when in reality, they try to silence and cover up people's pain from the damage they caused. I do believe management is in on this as well because claims of defamation have been made. Which just isn't true, I only ever speak the truth. But apparently humans aren't allowed to talk about how other humans are cruel to them because it could be harmful for the face of the company:^((((Hire more genuine people and maybe we wouldn't have these issues. Act like it has nothing to do with the store, while you're employing people that belittle and disrespect others. That's not a safe environment, it's trickery and manipulation.

everyone was very busy restocking, inventory, etc. yet numerous times I was asked if I was finding everything. At one point the employee went to the back to look for the item I was needing and I was not the only customer they did this for. Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. I think they totally deserve a 5 star rating!

I bought a birthday cake from the deli. The people working in the deli are always friendly and helpful. They offer personalized decorations and do a wonderful job.

This publix usually has the nicest staff out of several I have gone to in most departments and the upkeep as far as how neat and tidy the overall appearance is on point.This individual store is my favorite one in this area (despite it not having the fancy shmancy upper level like the new one I sometimes go to.) because, although I LOVE the new store's layout and upper level so much, it feels less personal, and the people there don't seem to go out of their way to give the same personal service as I receive at the Point Mallard store, which is why that one is my favorite to spend my money at.It's the only store I feel like family with to the extent that when one of the employees moves on to a new job, I feel a loss despite being happy for them. The point is, I usually notice when someone is missing.Thank you to the Point Mallard Publix employees in Decatur, Alabama for always going above and beyond to make me feel welcome and taken care of in your store.If nobody else tells you, each of you, you matter, and the job you do is appreciated. Even when you don't think anyone notices how hard you work, I notice and am grateful for you!

To the Deli people that wouldn't let me pay extra to put extra cheese on our subs, you suck! Even after asking if they would let me pay extra for it to be added they would only offer to put it on the side. Because my order came toasted this wasn't okay with me. I remember when the customer could have their food made the way they want it there. Usually customers want their cheese toasted on their sandwiches. What happened to that way of doing things? New manager? Whatever the reason your power trip over food is pathetic and I won't be back.

Great supermarket with outstanding service. Always clean and orderly. The staff is well trained and always helpful and courteous. The only downside is that their prices are higher than those at other similar stores.

Because of the Club Pub app, I'm always able to find what I need, quickly and easily, at whatever Publix I'm shopping with.This Point Mallard Publix is where we get our prescriptions (drive thru and inside service) and then the groceries we need/want.

Josephine in the bakery is the absolute best. I watched her bake a cake in one hand, transcribe the book of John entirely in icing with her other, and still had time to get my child a free cookie. She deserve a raise imo

This was my 1st time at a Publix, and I'm from the Midwest, where Kroger runs the grocer gang, lol. My favorite Youtuber OMGWicks always features Publix's goodies, so when I stubbled across one during an 800-mile road trip, I had to stop in. The store was supper bright and extremely clean. Parking was plentiful. I bought a slice of carrot cake and some bakery s'more cookies. The cake was very rich tasting, and the cookies that were basic at best made my ears and throat itch. I had to take a benadryl to stop it. Both products are very mid. I'll give them another try one day... but not anytime soon.

The disrespect is the only reason for this 2 star rating. Walking with a cart down isle 7 when a manager , well, I assum had a different button-up shirt from other employees, just decides to block the whole isle after seeing me come down the isle. And than a employee decides to load 7 packs of water instead of allowing me to continue shopping. To me seems very rude and not about the customers. Any other publix would have allowed a customer to walk by first to continue to shop. The cashier was very polite and respectful.

Publix Super Market at Point Mallard Centre is our local food market. They always have fresh fruits and veggies and great selection of food. The staff are super helpful and always ask if you need help taking your groceries to your vehicle. Another plus is they have live cashiers and people who bag your groceries. Their health care products are well stocked. The store is super clean as well which is one of the main reasons we shop there.
