If anyone’s wondering this is what their deli stays like 👌🏼 They claim their to understaff to deep clean and hardly EVER clean their slicers. Just lazy people and management is literally no help.

Don't even bother with the pick up. It's never going to be ready on time no matter how early you put it in, any substitutions they make, you'll never know until AFTER it's done (the link they give you to check is always expired. I assume because they wait until the very end to let you know) and the employees have no problem putting heavy items on top of bread, eggs, etc. Now, it's better if you do decide to go inside and shop but know mostly everything is going to be out of stock and their once wonderful produce selection is awful. Most stuff is either out of stock or mushy & moldy. I don't know what has happened in the past year or so but it's pitiful now.

We've been shopping with this particular Kroger store all because of the people from the pharmacy. We moved to Decatur and needed a pharmacy our family could trust. The pharmacy has taken care of our family for a few years, now, and we've come to trust Kroger, THIS KROGER, with all the other things as well. The people are kind, and the shelves are always properly stocked and never out of date. The physical building needs a remodel, but the people make this store a family-friendly market.

Yesterday's shopping trip was ok but they were out of blueberries and low on some of the other items on my list. This is becoming more common lately. Checkout was ok but still not satisfied with the number of manned check out isles.

This might sound weird, but there's always been something really depressing about this Kroger. It's kind of dimly lit, laid out in a strange way, and none of the employees seem to like being there. Too often the things I need are out of stock and the pick-up substitutions can be pretty bizarre. The Kroger Card and gas discounts are kind of an unrivaled rewards program, so I do still shop here to take advantage of that, but it's just not a happy place to visit! Maybe someday they'll get a good reno.

Difficult to find certain items. Feel it could use an upgrade & re- organization. I do enjoy their meat sales & fresh fruits & freezer sales too. section. Sry to say Kroger. The ppl are pretty decent for the most part.

This is very discriminatory. Today around 11:15am I walk up to the customer service desk for a money order. There is a man & a woman in front of me, both of Spanish decent. As the man finishes his business at the customer service desk the woman behind him approached the desk. At this time there is an elderly gray haired African American woman that is working the customer service desk. When the spanish woman approaches the desk she starts to speak Spanish and the black lady says, "I do not understand that" so the man turns around and starts to converse with her in Spanish to assist her. (He is not an employee) As they are conversing the black lady at the desk looks to me, and asks if I need anything. I tell her what I need a money order. While she is helping me the man and woman are talking in Spanish. I'm assuming that the lady doesn't speak English well enough. So the man was translating. As the customer service lady hands me the order she whispersto me, "I hate when they do that." I said "do what?" She then looks at the man & the woman who are speaking Spanish. I reply with, "Well what's the problem? He's helping her." Her response was, "I just wish they wouldn't speak like that. I hate it." I was very shocked and disgusted with her. I left immediately. If this is how your employees look at other people who do not speak English well then this is a major issue. I will not be returning to this location as I do not wish to see that lady again. Very disappointing service attitude.

Store is going downhill. Caught a few very expired products as we were putting them in the buggy, 1 got passed us. Having to go back. Rarely have product on the shelves that other stores seem to have no issue getting. Produce is often spoiled. I'm not sure what the problem is here but you guys need to get on it. Prices are not accurate. Have sale prices listed, and do not honor those prices

Absolutely awful management. I am always super sweet and I'm always nice I went to buy a beer that I have bought for the past 3 years it is a seasonal beer and it's always been $9.99. I noticed that the price that it was under said $8.99 and I even took a picture for the cashier, and the label said that brand it wasn't a different brand and it wasn't put in the wrong spot. When I told the lady that the beer rung up for $13.99 which is way more than $9.99 or $8.99 she was very rude and said well there's nothing that I can do to help you so I don't know what you want. I was nice about it and I was just questioning I didn't even know that they couldn't do anything about it and she definitely didn't need to have an attitude I will not be coming back to this location. Walmart and Target are just down the street.

If you go on the weekend be ready to substitute things or go without them, because the shelves are sparsely stocked. And unfortunately they're starting to mimic the mart of walls by shutting down the checkout lanes and only having self checkouts at night. I've always liked Kroger but I've had a couple issues lately and it's not as great as it used to be.

They get the new seasonal red bull beverages in advance, compared to other retailers who won't receive the fig apple winter addition until the end of October. I consider that a win. They also have cute lil buggies for your children to shop with you, love it!

Store's pretty clean aside from strip mall its located in. Cashiers are friendly but unenthused so I tend to use the self checkout more. Fresh produce is just that, the bakery and deli are always clean, and there's always some good deals to be had. Fresh flowers and variation of bouquets are always a plus even in the colder months. If you have to use the restroom during your visit I'd hold it for a cleaner one down the road.Publix's younger sibling.

It’s 6:13 am on Saturday morning and people can’t get in. The doors are locked. Employees are showing up after 6:00 am. The store is supposed to be open at 6:00 am. There is an employee outside taking a break doing nothing about letting people in. Unbelievable. There are senior citizens out here waiting. We don’t come down here at 6:00 am to be neglected - this store needs some better management.Finally at 6:19 am, the girl who came in late opens the door for people.Going downhill. There are a core of great employees there but overall, the store is on a slippery slope. The meat department stinks like rotten meat and seafood. Many times it has been empty so they could have done a deep cleaning but it hasn’t happened. The produce is kept on the shelves until it’s rotten and useless. I have had to call the store while standing at the deli several times to get a clerk out to help customers.Someone needs to get in that store and clean things up physically and with some of the staff who are slovenly or like to talk more than work.Maybe the whole crew needs a field trip to the Madison location to see how a Kroger should look and operate.I shop at the Decatur location regularly and have for the last 5 years. It’s very disappointing to see the way it’s going.

I shop at Krogers because they have an excellent selection of fruits and veggies. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. I purchase sliced meat every 6 days from the deli. Great selection!

I gave them a 1 star cause the few times I've been in there for fried chicken their either out or the fryer isn't working., and i don't see any Management insite to ask for assistance. The store it self is out dated , and Clearly is under staffed.

Kroger has been around as long as I can remember and I've always enjoyed shopping here. I'm not sure if there is a more tidy place to shop in the world. Everything is always neat and well organized. The employees here go out of their way to help you out if you need anything. The variety of produce here is always fresh and they have a great selection of fruits and veggies. Their customer service counter can also help you with cashing different kinds of checks, postage, shipping, and they will even stock specific items for you upon request. First class shopping experience.

Love to shop here. One of the best Krogers I have been to. The store is very well organized and clean with a huge selection. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Checkout is a breeze with their self check-outs. Excellent for quick trips!

This Krogers is the worse, I normally don't do rating but maybe if I post they might step up their customer service. First off I am a Instacart shopper and I spend more time texting the customer about a produce being out of stock, second the employees are not friendly at all, never great you or say hi when ringing you up. There is a manager that throws your food when ringing you up. I had to fill two buggies due to the customer large order so I asked if I could leave the full buggie at customer service the attendance said sure, when I came back the buggie was gone they had put my items back out on the shelf. SMH! They was nice enough to help me gather them back up after I asked for a manager. The workers seem unhappy are something never have a smile on their face and please don't ask where to find something they never no. The store is no clean, and its always a bad experience when I shop here. If I could rate zero I would they deffently need to send their employees back through training school.

I really enjoy the baked deli chicken so I frequent this particular Kroger a lot, but that all ends today. I was patiently waiting in line for the deli worker to finish up a lunch meat order of someone who was in line ahead of me. The worker the precedes to start working on an order of a couple who walked up after I did. This has happened to me more than once and it’s very irritating. I will not be shopping at this store in the future.

First time using the online order/pickup service. I was very pleased with the service !👍 It seems like I spoke too fast. I tried the pick up a 2nd time and really was not satisfied. I ordered a loaf of bread and the use by date was May 1 surprisingly I picked up my order on May 2. I ordered personal size watermelons and they were so small. Ordered mostly green bananas and mine yellow. Nothing green but the very top...Oops!

I like the store layout and the checkout lines are always manned/wommaned by clerks ready to assist in checkout. The self checkout is a nice way to get in and out quickly if you only need a few items. The store is always clean and well maintained.

Love how dark romance leaves pictures from behind the counter like she/he was a employee you can only take pictures like that from behind the counter conflicting point of view and to keep everything out in the open I currently work as a closer in that same deli and it looks nothing like that nore would I work there if it did

Worse customer service ever! No produce in stock. Employees wanted around and sit and BS while ignoring customers. When you ask a question the answer like you’re bothering them. They should just close down. I’ll NEVER shop here again!

Store is well kept and clean. This is my family grocery store. Parking lot can be treacherous due to layout. Each vehicle must pass directly in front of store to park. Employees are the best as I know several people whom have retired from this particular store. Always a pleasant experience with the staff.

My experience was with the Kroger pharmacy. They offer a program for patients without insurance that help discount your prescriptions. The employees were very friendly and helpful.
