A new favorite when visiting the island! First and foremost the views from here are absolutely the best!! Best Martini ❤️The shrimp and pork belly appetizer as well as the coconut shrimp were off the chain 😍 Our waitress was amazing! My Fish was overcooked but our waitress extrordinair took great care of us.The replacement fish was delicious. Everyone else's food was very good as well! We will be back. It is an experience you won't want to miss!!

Stopped in for an early dinner. There were many choices on the menu but we were in the mood for steak. The 14oz ribeye (I think they are being modest with the weight! It was a huge steak!) did not disappoint. It was grilled to perfection and was flavorful. I was disappointed to learn baked potatoes aren't offered till after 5pm. I opted for the garlic greenbeans which did pair nicely with the steak. My companion chose french fries. The bread that comes along with the meal was an insult to the chef. It was dry and flavorless & perhaps a bit stale. All in all I would say visit Pirates Bar & Grill if you want well prepared food with a beautiful view. Be prepared to spend $30 or more per person for dinner.

Unique eatery on the water with en extraordinary view. We arrived for lunch and the first thing that greeted us was a musty smell after you enter a front door in need a a good cleaning. The entry hallway is decorated with local photographs. Nicely done but it’s over when you reach the hostess stand. We were greeted quickly and seated on the top level. As we climbed the spiral staircase, the corners and base boards looked untouched or cleaned for several years. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered the fish n chips which was average but the fries had been out of the fryer for some time. The restaurant was busy and the service was speedy. So unique, such a prime location, so many opportunities it’s disheartening to see Pirate’s in this condition.Pirate’s looks tired and could use some TLC and a menu refresh.Cannot recommend at this time.

I don’t usually leave reviews for places we eat but Pirates Bar and Grill is an exceptional place to eat. We are visiting from Northern Utah and found Pirates Bar and Grill on a google search. It was worth the drive. Nice beach area location, food and service were amazing. Wife had the club sandwich and I had the fried shrimp basket. Food was absolutely amazing and our server, Sarah, was an absolute doll and took amazing care of us. If you ever find yourself in southern Alabama don’t miss out on this eatery.

We chose to dine here based on multiple local recommendations, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision! The cuisine was exceptional, and the scenic view was truly breathtaking. For dinner, I savored the delectable Thai chili shrimp alongside a flavorful cup of gumbo, both of which were absolutely delicious. My friend opted for the seared scallops, which were also superb. Despite the initial crowd and a 30-minute wait, we opted to sit at the bar and were promptly served. Despite the bar becoming crowded, the bartender ensured a seamless experience, always attending to our drinks and checking on us. Exceptional food, reliable service, and unforgettable vistas make this place a must-visit!

What a great place to visit! Though the table service was a bit slow the food was good (the seafood platter was divine, but the chicken in the alfredo pasta could have benefited from some seasoning), the ambiance was impeccable with gorgeous views! The fried pickles and the key lime pie were terrific. The drinks were pretty good as well! Would definitely recommend!

It was alright. Couldn't really tell what motif they were going for as it seemed like a Hodge podge of a seafood place, a Mexican place and a 70's diner feel to it. The view was great at sun set. The food was aight. kitchen took a while but our server was very attentive. Drinks weren't anything extravagant, but the staff and bartenders are great!

Ate dinner here on a sat night in late September. It’s a fun, relaxed atmosphere with great views of the water. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was very good with perfect sized portions - not too much. Definitely recommend the coconut shrimp appetizer and the mahi tacos. The desserts were very good as well. Overall a very nice experience. I’d definitely go back.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. I loved that it was right on the beach. It had a great view and we got to watch the sun set from our table on the second floor. We went on a Saturday night and for our party of 3 it was a 45 minute wait so they were pretty busy. It gave us time to walk around by the beach and take pictures so we didn't mind. There's also a pool and live music and a bar down by the pool. My daughter and I both got the fried fish dinner. It was kind of expensive at $20 a plate but it came with 2 very big pieces of fish. My daughter and I could have easily shared one plate and probably still had fish leftover. My husband got the Mahi plate and he said it was delicious. For sides my (very picky) daughter got mac n cheese and ate 2 orders of it. I got the fries and onion rings. The onion rings were very good, perfectly crisp. The fries were seasoned fries and I usually really like those but these didn't taste like they were super fresh. My husband got the loaded baked potato and green beans and said they were very good. All the plates came with hush puppies and they were really good. We also got the fried pickles for an appetizer and they were really good. They were the biggest fried pickles I'd ever had. I wish they were a little crispier but they were still good. They didn't come with any dipping sauce but they were able to give us some ranch. The waitress was very friendly and did a great job.

We stumbled across this spot by chance and were so happy we made the drive out from Buloxi. The food was easily the best seafood we have had anywhere along the Gulf Coast! The crab cakes are huge and delicious and the flounder was spectacular. The views are the best anywhere! Beautiful white sand beaches and dunes with palm trees.I could eat here everyday. Can't wait to come back!

VERY friendly. Wife liked her fish and dessert. My burger was perfect texture and fresh...but way too salty, and I like salt. I still would have put 5 stars but we asked for water with no straws. Happily they remembered until refilling...they brought 2 more cups with straws and then a 3rd. We are medical workers and over 80% of heart clots had plastic bits. Please only give straws to those who ask. Other restaurants have seen most customers don't ask.

Always my go-to spot when I'm on the Island, which never disappoints. This is the place to go. The food is outstanding, yes it gets busy but that's what happens when the food is good. Definitely recommend it after a day on the water. Your appetite will thank you and the drinks will definitely be cold!. Also I highly recommend the Blackened shrimp BLT.

We were there Monday night and the service was impeccable! Our server Trinity was amazing, she was very attentive and always kept our drinks filled. She seemed to be just a bit overwhelmed but still made time to check on us! She was able to answer any questions we needed answered and was very informed. Will definitely request her next time we come!
