Great location with easy off/ on the interstate. Store is always well kept. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Shelves are well stocked and one could easily blow a couple hundred on food, clothes, medicine, toys, etc for our pets per visit.Convenient truck parking out back with a turnaround to get back out on the interstate.This Petco is one of our favorite stops in the lower 48 states hands down.

Great value in the Petco vital care program. I love the dog food rewards program as part of this. The employees are always very friendly and helpful. I have been shopping at another large pet store competitor for years and have been spending way more than I needed to. You get much more back in rewards than you spend on the membership for the vital care, especially if you have multiple pets. I highly recommend!

I accidently booked here, thought I was booking at Petsmart. Ended up taking the appointment and the groomer did a good job. However, they told me how to get one free after 6 paid visits. Just download an app they told me and gave me a piece of paper with the instructions, which I held on to. I tried to download the app and could not get it to work because my email was linking to an old phone number I didn't remember, 10 years old. I called corporate customer service asking for help with this with no luck. I called the grooming department and the young woman told me they would help me when I got there on my next visit. Mitchell checked in my dog no problem. He took him to the back after our grooming consultation. He tried to help me with the Petco App to add the appointment so it would count as one towards the "buy 6 get 7th free". I was getting frustrated because I needed to get to work. All of a sudden the manager comes around the corner and got in my face. Instead of asking how she could help me, she said I was being rude. I spoke to Corporate and many customers are having problems with this app. Instead of helping me with the app, which they pushed on me to begin with, she made the situation worse. Her team at first did not know how to update my account on the app with the new phone number. You can't get the 7th visit free if you don't make the appointment through the app. I spent an hour before this visit on the phone with their customer service corp number trying to get help, then in the store, wasn't getting help either and needed to get to work. The store manager was unpleasant and treated me like a problem. My dog was in the back checked in no problem. The problem was the managers attitude and lack of knowledge and help with the Petco app. The Petco staff at this location are defensive and unknowledgeable of the promotions they push on their customers. If they had simply gave me a punch card like the old days, none of this would have happened.

Sad to see this place slowly go down hill. Seems like the way management has been treating the employees here is finally starting to cause people to start to quit. The atmosphere just isn't the same anymore.

I recently purchased some shoes online and paid with Paypal. I needed to return them and there was an option to bring them to Petco to their "Happy Returns" counter, which I did. The process was fast and easy, plus I received a $10.00 coupon to use in store with a purchase of $40.00 or more. I bought pet food and other items on the same visit, so it worked out great. Service was fast and friendly and the Happy Returns service is so convenient!

Our first and last trip to Petco's novice groomers, and that's being polite. This is what I got when I asked not once, not twice, but THREE times to make sure they got rid of my service dog's 'pants.' $52 and not a single instruction was followed. The girl that brought him out was not the one I left him with. The one I left him with gave 3-4 hour estimate, took 5 hours, and he wasn't even dry. Painfully obvious thus job was rushed. Unless you've got an ankle biter that needs a simple shave, look elsewhere.

We had a fabulous experience with the groomer in Daphne. We brought our foster dog in after a traumatic experience at a competitor's place and this was a welcomed difference. The groomer listened to our concerns, the foster babies fears, and made the experience wonderful and stress free.

dont ever take your reptile back to this place took my butterfly agama reeve back because it had substrate suck in its eye, called to pick it up and they said they need to keep because it looked underweight that was 2 and half weeks ago called today to check on status told me to call back in 30 mintues I call back and they said she didnt make it I took her back for her eye not an eating problem I purchased 2 the other that's always been in my care is just fine, just doesnt sound right if I wouldnt have called today I bet it would still be alive or they dont want to give it back or sold it to someone DONT USE THIS PETCO THEY ARE NOT RIGHT.

Excellent pet service. 👌 I would recommend their dog trainer, Brittany, everyday of the week. She definitely saved my life when adopting a young great dane. Went from destroying my house to visiting the elderly at a retirement home in a few months.

The only pet store in Baldwin County with quality fish. The woman who takes care of the fish (Brown hair, but I didn't see her name) is very passionate about the animals and I can tell she does her best to prevent fatalities, which is bound to happen.Dead fish are not a problem in stock tanks, everyone! It's going to happen; there is nothing they can do to prevent it. Shipping is extremely stressful for these animals. One thing I loved is that she turns the lights off when she acclimates fish to prevent unnecessary stress. The tanks are filled with accurate information, and I'm very happy with their sales.I've bought several snails from here. The snails are wonderful and do a great job.Remember if you buy fish, you need to quarantine them in a separate, cycled tank for at least a week to make sure they are healthy. Tanks need to be cycled prior to adding fish!

Going into this store is always a good experience. It's one of the only stores in Mobile/Baldwin County I've found the type cat litter my mother uses. Big thumbs up on Petco!
