I would normally give the Daphne location a 5 star rating due the fact I've always had good experiences in this store, but my experience today ended in being very frustrating. I know Aldi's has their store policy and that's why it's cheaper then other stores, but the cashier I had today was not a very customer friendly person. I am temporarily disabled and can barely walk so I have to use a cane to support myself, so I put my groceries in a couple reusable shopping bags in my cart, for one to make it easier on me at check out since I can only use one hand, and two to keep the line moving. No that was not acceptable to this cashier lady. She made me unload everything on to the conveyor belt, after I explained to her I'm temporarily disabled and that's why I put the bags on the conveyor belt, because obviously she could've unloaded them ten times faster then I can. She ignored my comment about that. I also had to ask her to stop the conveyor belt 3 times making the whole check out process much harder on me, and making everyone behind me wait much longer. It doesn't cost anything to help someone and be nice to one another. That being said they need to train their employees on kindness, and helping people. They usually have really good employees, but this one lady in particular was not one of those. I had to leave my rant here so hopefully management at this location will help educate their employees on these issues. I always lend a hand to anyone in need and go out of my way to help people struggling.

So glad that this company has finally come to our area. The store is clean, well stocked and it has great prices, lower than most other grocery stores. I was amused that you had to pay a $0.25 deposit for shopping cart. You do get your quarter back when you return the cart. All in all, a great store that makes my favorites list.

This is my go-to for affordable produce. I can buy all my salad veggies here and other staples to meal prep for the week. The store is clean, stocked, and organized. Limited brands and variety,small store layout, efficient employees, enable you to get in and out quickly.

Great bargains on produce and dairy. Steer clear of their brand of crackers and most of their canned goods with a few exceptions. Some of their frozen foods, like the pork dumplings are pretty good. Chicken has very high water content, so is not the bargain it appears to be. Their baked goods are passable considering the low price. Fig bars are a good bargain. German products are a thing to buy here as well.

If you like Aldi's, you will like this location. A little less selection in a couple of areas, but this is a clean store with nice employees.

Horrible customer service and no one to get a hold of with missing items for my pick up order. It is disgraceful for a company not to have any customer service whatsoever and cashiers are rude which is why I did not want to go in in the first place. I will never return to this location or any Aldi’s for that matter

Rudest cashier I’ve ever encountered. I drove past three grocery stores for this one because I like Aldi. Won’t make that mistake again. Rather go to the Publix close to my house than drive her and have some cashier in a bad mood talk down to me.

Been shopping at Aldi for many years and even in Germany. The problem here is the cashier's are a disgrace to the Aldi's name, and never have many open. I wish they just would do self checkout here like in Mobile. I love Aldi but start treating people better some people don't know about the cart stuff take the time to explain and open another cashier instead of one single one all day.

Best store in the world. God Bless the manager and cashier. Great people. Don't know their name's, both working on 11/10/23. Just got home from ALDI'S it's 5:51pm. They did something for me that no grocery store would ever do, can't say but it was a Big Blessing to me. I will never shop at any other store. Thank You

Great prices on fruit and veggies are my main reason for shopping Aldi. I've bought salmon on sale but didn't love that skin+ some scales remained on the back....great price though.

My cashier was Kelly and she had RUINED this location for me. I always shop at fairhope aldi and fairhope publix bc of the amazing customer service, but today I went to the Daphne location for work and will not be back, for my families groceries, or for work! I was hesitant to complain bc I know how difficult working in grocery can be! But then I look on these reviews and you can see SO many people have had the same issue with her for months! She had a big smile on her face while intentionally being rude and disrespectful to me! I had planned on coming back to this location later in the day for my own personal groceries bc I saw how much more variety they have! But after how distraught I left the store from Kelly’s treatment, I absolutely will not be back. I came in very happy and left very angry, distraught, and emotional. I thought management just needed to re train her but after seeing all of these awful comments about her, she clearly needs to be let go. She seems to get some kind of pleasure from ruining peoples days. I would hate for her to treat anyone else this way. I’d expect better treatment from a Walmart employee than the way she treated me.

Happy to welcome Aldi's. Their fresh produce is Fresh and lasts longer than other stores. Fun to find new foods to try. Bread and staples well priced and meats are tasty. "middle aisle finds section" is always fun and inexpensive. A nice change of pace.

I do not see the hype about this store. It's very unorganized and really had nothing I was looking for. The cashier was rude she didn't explain about the bagging she just threw stuff in the buggy and didn't say we had to bag it. None of the employees were helpful. I won't go back!

This being our first time we weren't sure what to expect. The store was clean. We found that some things were a little cheaper, but most were comparable to other grocery stores. We know now how the grocery carts work, we'll make sure to bring a quarter with us next time. We also added reusable bags to our car, since they don't plastic bags. With all that being said, it was a nice store.

Great for specialty items, candles, 4th of July garb. Not good to feed a family. Pricey and they don't give you a bag or a cart... Not my cup-o-tea.. 3 stars for specialty items, party foods, and sold out candles.

Great bargains in today's crazy economy. All of the food items my family has had have been delicious. I purchase candles and household items here as well. I am very happy Aldi has finally came to the South. Be sure an bring your own bags and a quarter.
