The PetSmart associate was very helpful and assisted my son with getting the supplies needed to care for his new beta fish. He instructed my son very simply how to correctly take care of his fish. He also told him where he could learn all the pet's basic care.

The store itself is okay for a large chain pet store the problem with this location is the people. No one in there is particularly friendly but the guy that is usually back there where the fish are is really the big problem I'm not sure what his name is but he seems to be a bit feminine and also a bit of a know-it-all I have watched him sell people fish and not say anything to the customer about their fish choices and then the next customer he talks them out of what they were going to buy. There are other people in the world besides this guy who knows about fish. Sell people what they want so they will return and buy other things.

Just over a week ago from today’s date of 3/10/24, I purchased 4 fish, I thought about telling you which ones, but I’d rather watch the petsmart fish boy scramble to hide this. Tell me why all those fish, over the course of this week, died. Not only are THEY dead, my special ordered catfish from another store are also dead, and I now have a sick African lungfish, dinosaur bichir, and an African Oscar. Why, you may ask? Oh it’s because this petsmart, who if you usually walk in, their people who work with the fish don’t let you buy any unless you lie to them about tank size, sold me FOUR fish infected with ICH. THEYRE SELLING FISH WILLY NILLY WITH ICH!!!!!!! Just so everyone knows ICH is HIGHLY contagious to fish and it WILL kill them if not treated in time. Now I own, 7 aquariums, and 5 terrariums, all with fish and reptiles. I’ve been a petsmart customer for over 10yrs, since I started breeding reptiles as a teen actually. I’ve never really had issues from this petsmart in Cullman, but I’ll tell you this, this ICH spread throughout my house and into three of my 7 aquariums (and yeah dude WE QUARANTINED AND EVERYTHING), and has killed over $200 worth of fish so far, (and we still don’t know who else we’ll lose, we’re trying to treat everyone now) but petsmart count your days. I will go full Karen over my fish.

We usually go to PetSmart in Foley but needed a last minute grooming so made an appointment in Cullman. Great job although not as friendly as what we are used to. Maybe it was just an off day?

They are a little pricey but have great sales, good quality products, and great quality service! The employees are very knowledgeable and give good advice! Bought my son a hamster from there with everything needed, and this little hamster is so social and active! I am very pleased with our choice.

The young man that greeted me was extremely nice and friendly. I did not find one of the products I was looking for. The friendliness of this young man more than made up for that. Having knowledgeable and friendly associates really does make a difference .

Great place for all your pets needs. My Bearded Dragon eats meal worms they always have in stock for 25 worms cost 3.99 and 50 worms are 7.99.Great place and almost anything you can think of for your animal babies!!!!!

Easy to locate the store, and also well marked aisles helped us find what we needed easily. Friendly, fast cashier, too. Saw a couple of dogs walking around with owners, and another getting groomed. Willbe back again.

They Called and canceled the grooming appointment about an hour before the time and says we should find someone else at the moment. This is very inconvenient as I have to go 20 miles to get there. Very disappointed and other places are booked

Love this place I’m in and out at least once a week especially the people who are in fish. However one guy (long black hair glasses and facial hair) did nothing but flirt with me (I’m 13.) he undercharged me so when I returned my dead fish I had to pay again since he put in the wrong fish and all he did was talk to me when I just wanted to get my stuff and leave the manager and another employee what happened and hey automatically knew who I was talking about without giving description if that says anything. So what I’m saying is everything but him is amazing love this place ❤️
