Great nursery with a very helpful staff. Been here twice and left very happy both times. Wish they had a weekly or monthly email to send me updates on new plants they get. It’s a beautiful drive to get there, and inspiring to see what they have created. I think 90% of the plants are truly native to the area, some hybrids of natives. Beautiful azalea selection, just wish I had more shade in my yard for an azalea.

Worth the (beautiful) drive to Cropwell for this diverse selection of native plants. They have trees, blueberry bushes, flowers, vines, ferns, and more. The plants are in good shape and well priced.

This was a lovely experience. They were very knowledgeable and were able to answer any questions that arose. They have an amazing selection. It was definitely worth the 3hr drive. Also, it's so amazing that they only sell native species. These folks care. Only plant natives, for the future of our local ecosystem depends on it.

Best place to buy native plants in Alabama. Showed up with a picture of the area I was planting, mentioned a budget and that I wanted to focus on hummingbirds, butterflies then birds and she picked out the native plants for me, even laid them out how I should plant them . Very knowledgeable about native plants. Definitely worth the drive! I highly recommend them if you are building a new home, redoing your landscape or in my case have a non productive area that you want to enhance. Tell your builder and landscaper about recreative natives

Many native plants, sources from Alabama, with a kind, knowledgeable, and attentive owner who was happy to answer questions. Plants are mostly well-marked with descriptions and growing conditions. Main shopping area is outside, but shaded. Selection changes over time and they will not hold plants for you, though. Well worth the drive, but check the website for a current availability list.

Excellent! Selection is the best of any native nursery I've seen. Seller is knowledgeable and helpful. Inventory is well-arranged and well-marked. Prices are industry standard. Put that day's Birmingham Botanical Garden plant sale to shame.

Committed to providing the most important plants for our region. We have a challenging yard and we were able to ask questions and get advice on what to plant and how to handle things. Owner is knowledgeable, always has a variety of reasonably priced native plants for sale, and is quick to respond to emails.
