We are so grateful for Pell City Amimal Hospital! My husband and I drive nearly an hour there and back, and it’s so worth it. Our Finn receives exceptional care where the Vets listen attentively and communicate in an informative and compassionate way, leading with action steps to improve Finn’s quality of life. The staff is always so kind, professional, and patient. Pell City Animal Hospital is an answered prayer for our family!

All the staff were wonderful, especially Dr.Heath. We recently moved to the area and it was time for my Shih Tzu's shots and checkup. Dr Heath and the vet techs were so thorough and caring. I felt very confident in the professionalism and friendliness of all those who assisted me and my fur baby.

I do not recommend this establishment. My mom patronized them last week for boarding services for her cat. She dropped off a healthy, albeit displeased, lol, kitty, but healthy nonetheless. She furnished her own food and left her there for 8 night, total stay. Her total bill was $200, which is not bad, considering the 8 day stretch. However, upon getting her home and out of the carrier immediately, my mom noticed that she is obviously sick... Sneezing, with watery eyes and generally fatigued... not only was the staff; either apathetically unaware of her condition or simply failed to mention it or notify us upon pickup. I'm not sure which is worse. But when she tried to contact them right away and was unable to get someone on the phone. So she texted and was told that I would need to make (and pay) for an office visit to see the vet. I understand that animals will spread viruses when in boarding facilities, but given the fact that this is a veterinary clinic, I would expect the vet to have a look at her given the circumstances... additionally, and even more importantly for me us, as pet owners, as well as the main reason for my decision to post this this review, the fact that the team took so little care as not to notice or if they did, not to tell us upon pickup that the cat was not in the same condition as she was when she was dropped off. We only chose this place because of the early drop off time availability. Lesson learned.... we’re taking her to her normal vet this morning to get her something to make her more comfortable and to make sure she is overall okay. I would recommend taking your animals elsewhere.

Dr Ray and his stuff were absolutely amazing. Dr Ray explained everything to us very clearly and you could tell he truly cared about our baby boy. He went above and beyond to make sure our first visit was worth every moment. Thank you Dr Ray & his amazing staff for giving our baby a great first experience and for helping us understand everything. I highly recommend them to anyone!

I've been through a lot of vets in a 45 mile radius from Birmingham to Pell City and this one tops them all! I am so glad I found them to care for my fur babies. Every worker/vet is very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. They always give fantastic service, while getting me in for an appointment same day! I've seen Dr McMillan & Dr Ray so far and they are both great!Amazing customer service at the front desk also. I've never gotten this kind of helpful, friendly, attentive and fast service at any other vet's front desk before. I even emailed them a problem I was having with my dog and they emailed back the solution in 20 minutes.When I called about my dog having a negative reaction to some meds, Dr McMillan called back within an hour and thoroughly explained how i needed to proceed and told me to keep in touch so they know how she's doing. They genuinely care instead of just pushing you off like another customer. Super helpful that at my last visit, they took my payment in the exam room instead of having to juggle my dog, credit card and keys in the lobby with other dogs around.Extremely clean lobby and exam rooms. I very much appreciate the interior and technology being current and updated, compared to others in the area being run down and dirty. Also impressed that they have computers in the rooms to take notes.These folks deserve a long review!! Best vet around!!

I was a nervous wreck on last Thursday, with this being my first fur baby and she was in heat.....I must say the lady that I spoke with was soooo helpful for me mentally cause I didn't know what to do. Nevertheless on Monday we took our fur baby in and everyone was extremely nice. The office was above my expectations of cleanliness. That night the doctor called personally and explained why she had not called and if it was OK that they keep her overnight and do her procedure the next morning. We are very pleased with our experience with the Pell City Animal Hospital and look forward to continuing our journey with them.....thank you to each team member

We took our dog, Luke in to have Dr McMillan look at his foot. He found out what was wrong very quickly & cut his nails & gave a script for pain. He’s better now!!

My dog, Beau, became extremely and suddenly ill. This was one of the first hospitals I saw in my area when I did a web search. Fortunately, I had chosen the best place for Beau.Dr. Margaret Heath and the staff at Pell City Animal Hospital provided a welcoming and professional atmosphere and they brought Beau back to full health. This is my go-to place for my dogs needs now.

Dr. McMillan saw our new adopted dog 3months old and had a thorough exam. Provided free puppy meds for some symptoms as an example of their care for our new pet. A little bit of a wait, but worth it. Very competent and experienced Vet. Recommended a housebreaking a dog in 7 days book, which is excellent.

I take the health of my dogs as seriously as my own. The Vets and the staff are friendly and caring. Once your in the system it’s easy to make an appointment should something unexpected come up. The online pharmacy makes getting preventative meds easy and with auto refill you don’t have to remember to reorder. The Pell City Animal Hospital is A+++

After a neighbor's dog attack one of my miniature goats, I called PC Animal Clinic. They had me bring my goat right away. The doctor saw her and began treatment to stabilize the shock, cleaned the puncture wounds and recommended taking to Auburn. PC called ahead for me so that the Auburn vets were prepared to see my little one. The quick action at PC saved my sweet girl. There are not a lot of places that treat farm animals for emergencies, so I feel fortunate to have the large animal vets available at PC. Nice, supportive and knowledgeable.Thank you!

My first experience with a vet. I got a same day appointment, that surprised me. All the staff are very kind. They were so sweet and helpful. The doctor was more than efficient, explained everything clearly. I was worried about the cost. Thankfully, even that was easy! We'll be back, for any other problems!

My Aunt Elizabeth (82 yrs old )and I brought her 2 Fury Kids in for their yearly shots a few months ago. When they were done we went to check out and when they asked how I wanted to pay my bill for visit. I told them I would pay in full. I put it on debit card ($680 roughly). We started to get a bill later for $255. We thought it was a mistake. When I called I was told it was for shots given that they didn’t bill for when we check out and they revised our bill. When we were in back getting everything done they were not breaking down prices so when they asked for $680 roughly we thought was high but paid it because they told it that’s how much it was. Apparently the tech or vet did not add it upfront per billing clerk. Now after paying in full my Aunt is being told she did not pay her bill and full. She is highly upset because she has used this vet for years and always paid in full when services were provided. The Billing Clerk said they have changed their check out process because of mistakes. So if you are one of the other people that had this happen I curious what you did or they did about it. My Aunt is adamant that she paid her bill and she will start using another vet if that is what she has to do.

Our Sadie was diagnosed with one of the most complicated autoimmune disease all her vets had ever seen. Dr Ray and Dr. Ford never gave up. It was getting so bad with her skin that nearly her whole body covered with red sores. We were seriously considering laying her to rest. We contacted a company that would come to your home to do it. My husband and I said let try for a few more weeks and see. We are so glad we did! They found the right combination of medications that brought our beautiful girl back from all her pain. She's now so happy and skin is PERFECT! NO ISSUES! We will forever be greatful to her doctors and the clinic as a whole. Everyone is so welcoming
