I love Dollar general stores in general, but the Creola dollar general has been very inconsistent with products and employees! I am retired and moved to Creola Al. I always love going to Creola store but now i never know if it’s open or closed. There is no management there no one to work, so now I go to Satsuma dollar general which is always Open. I would keep my money in my town if I could, I go aleast there 3times a week and spend over 50.00 dollars each trip . Maybe something can be done to improve Creola dollar general store, I will go back, because it is closer to me. Thank you for my ranting.

CREOLA Dollar General has been the best experience I have had in a constant.They have excellent employees, who will always be there if you have a question. GREAT Selection of different products. As ISaid, I really enjoy my shopping experience atThis store. Great ParkingAlso...Highly Recommend.

The people who work at this dollar general are actually pretty awesome they will take the time to stop and actually help u very rare especially for a dollar general I shop at alot of em and u never get help or there's not enough workers not the workers fault either though the company will not allow but so many hours and u lose customers this way maybe just maybe someone on up the ladder will read this and be like oh shoot 😉and start giving there employees more work because then u would have happier customers just saying

I love shopping locally at Dollar General! It has beat the national big box store six ways to Sunday in terms of keeping their shelves stocked with many of the products I use daily, particularly during the pandemic. Why struggle to find an associate--much less your desired items--elsewhere out of town when you can find friendly, helpful, and courteous staff in Chatom. Buying locally saves money, time, and gas while benefitting our community and neighbors by providing jobs, convenience, and availability. Studies have shown buying locally has six times the financial effect of the initial sale, so let's keep the money flowing within our service area to maintain opportunity and encourage local retailers to keep up the great work!

Nothing is EVER in stock. (Which I do not believe is the employee's fault) this is management or whomever does the ordering. (Unless they have the stuff in the back and never stock) The way the store is set up, makes it impossible to find certain products. I only go to this one when I do not feel like going to the one on down 43 in Satsuma, or the one on Celeste Rd in Saraland. This particular Dollar General could take some lessons from those other two I listed. I would of given 0 stars but no option for that

Always friendly. But now they got new employees that don't pay attention to you. They don't even be near the front when the door opens. One manager is trying to fix that problem but no one is listening.

This is an EXCELLENT Dollar General - it’s brand new, opened about a month ago and is actually just up the road, slightly North of where it use to be - the new store is much larger and actually has an expanded selection of items, especially in the food area! Dollar General or DG as we call it - began in Kentucky and was originally called J.L. Turner and Son. They have been around since 1939 - that’s a pretty good stretch! They do have a fairly poor record of OSHA Violations - but I’ve personally never been injured there!

Anytime I need something quick fast and in a hurt I manage to make it to the dollar store only to find myself standing in a long darn line... Why is that. Anyways besides that the store is great and the people are too! 🎉👍🌼💙💝 Just pep it up 😀😀😀

Inventory always left in the owl ways never put on the shelves which makes it difficult to get around in the store you can't find what you need it's all a big mess in there and then you can't get no one to wait on you when you get ready to check out and leave

The line is always busy. Apparently, they pay for a phone line and then leave it off the hook. So we have to drive there to find that they do not have what we need in stock. Aggravating!!

The one in Mt.Vernon never has enough cashiers. I stood in line behind 4 people with a ton of stuff the other day and it's always like that.
