It's well lit in a safe atmosphere. The parking t is big. The store is clean and very well stocked. The employees both greeted me and engaged in conversation which was pleasant. Cheap prices on the Lays chip and great deal on drinks as well. Great business 👍

The freezers are a big mess. You have to dig to find what you want. Finally found the frozen mixed veggies and they were thawed out already. But supposed to be frozen. Won’t be back. Wouldn’t recommend.

Price tags on the shelves are majorly out of date. (shelf said 4.60, register said 7.45 for a tiny bottle od wd-40), Employee got all huffy and asked why I didnt use the self checkout after seeing the discrepancy Explained with a picture of the price tag, she reluctantly changed the price. My wife attempted to do a pickup order from the app. Store canceled the order with zero explanation. Store is very messy and disorganized.

I love this place,I have grown close to a few of the employees,but my overall person is Randy,he is never to busy to help but continue to stay busy caring and cleaning store,you will never catch him just standing there talking unless he is stalking shelves,he truly has went out his way several times and never ask for a return,I have to make him,but he never fails to check on me when he doesn't see me,he interacts with all my grand babies bless his heart he takes on more than he should but always has a smile and always ready to cut some jokes,so with that being said Thank u for being my DGBFF,you mean so much to me!!!!!

Who doesn't love the dollar store? I have to be pulled out of this store. Always go in focused on my immediate needs and leave with a buggy full. Be careful you may spend all your money here.

They are trying to do better here but the staff just makes it unpleasant. The cashier was very rude and mean to customers. All while talking on the phone On a personal phone call. If management doesn’t get their act together this place will be shut down

I left your dollar general store in tears this morning . Never have I ever been treated this way before anywhere I have shopped . The self checkout scanned my laundry detergent twice and i politely asked the cashier to remove one of the detergents since I only had one . The cashier proceeded to get in my face and tell me I had an attitude and I needed to get the out of her store . I asked for the employees name and she said she didn’t have to tell me anything she didn’t care . And that she wasn’t going to tell me her name . The other employee stayed silent when I asked for their names . I left crying . I had already had a bad day with a medical diagnosis . I hope this cashier is happy she treated a sick young woman this way . Corporate has been called . Update ; apparently the cashiers name is Amelia .

My wife and myself showed for a hour and a half and when we got to the register none of the prices matched the app and the manager say that we had to the price that it rings up and the dollar general appt is wrong .We were polite and nicely said that the price appt should match and the manager came around the counter and became confrontational and being disabled I feared for my safety and left .Do not go to this store they don't honor prices and bully disabled people .

Always has long lines. Isles hard to go down. Some of the employees shouldn't even work there. Rude an bad attitudes. Wouldn't give me my $5.00 off $25.00 but did for person ahead. It would not do it with their register but text said thank you for using my coupon. Does that $5.00 go in her pocket???? Will never shop at this one again.

One cashier gave me 100 style cigarettes in stead of the short ones as I asked for..I didn't notice it until the cashier had given me my change..I hadn't even walked away from the register, yet the cashier refused to change out my cigarettes and it was his mistake...then proceeded to get an attitude with me about it...there was absolutely no need to try and get ghetto with me.

would have been nice if everything was where it belongs and had certain things that people like to buy!!and also the service sucks had to wait ten minutes just for the cashier to get off her ass to come out of the break room to ring me up!!! definitely needs some attention at y'alls stores!!!

It's okay it's like any other retail store not enough people to serve not a bad place to shop is convenient be in the country makes it easy I ain't got to go all the way to the Walmart or so the minute you use your convenient dollar store to help you beat the heck out of going all the way to town to go to Walmart

Motel 6, Dothan, ALHmm. Employee friendliness was fine. Rates were NOT AS ADVERTISED. WiFi DID NOT WORK as advertised, and I we were there for a week! No expanded cable as was advertised. I made reservations on the premise that there was a "full kitchen" in the room I was getting. When I checked into the room, there was a 2-burner hot plate, a mini-fridge, microwave and an extra sink. No coffee pot? When I made reservations, I specifically asked if they had an oven, and was told "YES". Well, the first night we went to use the 2-burner hot plate, and it didn't work properly. Kudos to the maintenance guy, who replaced it w/ another one, the next day. He couldn't have been any nicer. The entire trip was disappointing because I was grossly overcharged for a room that didn't have near the "amenities" it was advertised to have. (Also the ice machines were broken the entire week we were there as well) Shame on you Motel 6 Dothan, AL!

Trashy is the only way I can think to describe this store and the employees that work here . Employees talk on their personal cellphones while checking you out , the store is a mess , and they have no product while they stand outside and smoke or play on their cellphones .

Dollar General is ALWAYS my go to store because they stock a large selection of merchandise and I like that, but a lot of the shelves were empty today so I'll check back the early part of next week I'm sure they will be restocked by then.
