The store is very clean and well little produce Department had fresh vegetables fully stocked, meat department hasfresh meats fully stocked and over all the shelves were faced and fully stocked nice and neat. The cashiers and employees throughout the store we're very helpful and friendly

I love the pick 5 but seems like here lately they are more high in price than Walmart. Prices much like Publix but not as fresh in fruits as Publix or Walmart . Definitely feel that driving all the way to Calera and or alabaster is more worth my time and gas .

The cleanest, well kept Piggly wiggly store I have ever been in. It was clean and not congestive. The employees were helpful and friendly.

Getting in and out of this place, alone, is a nightmare. There's a really limited selection of produce, bakery, and deli items compared to other Piggly Wigglies, even though it's in the county seat. There was one friendly employee, a middle-aged, taller black gentleman in produce and he was friendly and greeted me. Otherwise, the young girl who rang me up was pretty cold and terse. It's a shame this is the only semblance of a grocery store in Columbiana yet the citizens have to settle for it.

They have to many people doing nothing. Standing around while there is 10 people in line. One person is ringing people up while 2 bagging one putting candy bars out. One associate just chatting it up. People keep saying we need another grocery store and I am starting to agree. There should be a 10 items of less line. The date was 11-30 at 6:40 pm. At least pretend to care about the people spending there money in your store.

The Piggly Wiggle is a hometown store they get to know the local community and they take care of there customers for instance I dropped a check a few weeks ago and I honestly forgot about the thing I mean it was only for a few dollars a refund check I got in the mail anyway it fell out of my pocket and today I was there buying a few groceries and one of the managers called me while I was in the store and not only did he give the check back to me he went ahead and cashed it as a courtesy things like that doesn't happen often in life and I really appreciated the fact that he went to all the trouble of keeping it and making shure I received it

The lady who makes the salads didn't come in...This small town staple is conveniently located near the center of town and has most of the necessities. Management has been there forever and they really care about the store and the staff. Many high school kids first jobs are right here.

I heard a manager talk to a regular employee about a different employee calling out. She was being incredibly rude saying she comes to work sick so this person should..first of all it’s against regulation to show up to work sick especially if you work with food…correct me if I’m wrong but groceries is food. Second of all, every time I come in this store at this location, the lady is rude and just stands around. I don’t blame the employee for calling out. If that lady was my manager I would definitely call out as well. She shouldn’t talk about other employees business..that was extremely unprofessional. Also another thing to point out..they didn’t stop their conversation to greet me or any other customer either.

It's a bit of a drive for me but well worth it for the meat prices for quality meat. Also some good prices on other items as well. I go for the meat selection and not having to feel like I need to start a lay-away plan just to grocery shop.

Older store, clean, organized and well stocked. We found what we needed quickly. Items reaching expiration were marked down and clearly identified. We did need help on some specific items and the staff was very responsive. Fresh, helpful faces.

The only thing I have to say about this place is it smells old. When you go in you immediately get the 1993 Winn-Dixie vibe. Prices are about what you would expect for a location like this. They're about 30% higher than Walmart but super convenient. Would I go again, I do every time.

This location has a huge selection of different food items. The store was nice and clean and the cashiers were friendly and helpful. If there was one person in line waiting, another register opened so that no one would have to wait. This is a nice location.

Overall good starting job, but.. they let employees off for ridiculous things.I was on my period and keep in mind only ever called out 1 time before this and i was saying I didn’t feel good because of how bad the condition was, which is normal for me when menstruating. I get to work the next day and is asked for a doctors excuse after explaining why i called out sick.. and was fired. Even before then the managers were really rude and had attitudes when speaking to employees

We stopped by for the deli. My dad said they have the best fish🐠. (I got the chicken, Mc-n-cheese, with fired okra for $7something.) They must be good because they had a long waiting line. It was nice though because you start talking with people. They line moved pretty quickly.

They have a superb bakery, with a pepperoni bread so good it didn't make it back to the house. The store was clean and well-lit. Public restrooms are available!

Been coming to this store since the day it opened in 1979. Others stores have come and gone in our small town but none of them have ever lasted long. The place has been owned by the same family from day one til now customer service is friendly because the people that work there knows everyone personally and and willing to help everyone. They have more than decent weekly specials and by far the best meat within 30 miles of the place..
