We were there this March, 2024 and it was so enjoyable. A small COE park with friendly park hosts. The grounds were impeccable. You could tell that a lot of effort had been put into opening the park for the 2024 season. Some local campers were catching nice catfish and invited all of the other campers to enjoy a fish fry. It was a great experience thanks to “Ray-Bo”, the gentleman that invited everyone.

Hidden gem. Very peaceful. RV Sites are large. Some are pull-thru on the river. 2 tents sites at end. Boat launch, fishing dock, 2 kids playgrounds, hiking trails, bathhouse, picnic table, fire rings & grills, a well maintained RV park. Pet friendly. Dump station only, but have electric and water at sites. Book online. We camped 3 nights. We will be back.

Along side the Tombigbee River, Service Park Campground is roughly 4 miles west of Coffeeville, AL, just off US Hwy 84. A well kept and clean park, with spotless bathrooms, this had become one of our must stops when traveling between NM and FL.

We stayed this past weekend on Site #7. It is a wonderful campground, clean bathrooms/bathhouses, nice play ground for kids in the camp area, the one by the boat ramp is in the ball open sun and equipment very hot to play on. I wish they would add a splash pad or something because there is no swimming area for kids. BUT all in all we loved it and We will definitely be back!Playground: The one in the camp area is nice and shaded.Restrooms: Extremely clean

Small nice campground right on river. Nice hosts, big boat ramp area. We liked it and would recommend. We stayed there after 4th of July. It stays busy on weekend and almost empty beginning of the week.

This is a hidden gem of a place. Nice people and sites. The tug boats come by and are an unexpected surprise and wonder when you see them so close to the sites. Great view.

Went for a lovely walk here. Trails are well marked and the walking was pleasant, nothing too difficult. We spent about an hour here.

Seems very nice and well maintained. Wasn't quite the vibe we were looking for today and only 2 tent only camping sites but did have power and water. We didn't camp out this time but probably will in the future. Many sites have a nice view of the river. Playground looked nice but forgot to check out the bathrooms. Looked good from the outside.

This is a gem of campground. Stayed in MH at site #13. Very level pull through site right next to the river. Big tugboat activity at all hours. It is so relaxing there! The camp is clean & camp hosts were wonderful. The photo is site 3 or 4. Sites 1 & 2 are back in.Playground: Grand loved the big playground at the entrance to the park and the little playground near the shower house in the campground.Dog-friendliness: No dog park, but plenty of trails to sniff while on leash.

This park is very nice, with sites right on the river. It is so relaxing watching the push boats going up and down the river. The bath house was very well maintained and the handicapped shower has a bench seat. There is good Hot water and ample water pressure. The sites along the river are my preference but the other are very nice also. The Hosts are very nice and helpful when needed. We have AT&T cell service and we did not get good reception. I had seen in several reviews where people had gotten good service. Ours was spotty at best. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

The 2 tent only sites are the nicest sites on the campground. All sites, including the tent only sites, have water and electricity.

Well maintained, very clean restroom facilities, easy pull through sites on the Tom Bisbee river side gives a great view of the river and lends to more window privacy. The sites are large with a cement top table, grill and a fire ring with built in grill. 1 hour from Laurel, MS on. Hwy 84. We will be back.

WoW, this place is awesome! The mosquitoes are bad late in evening, but we had deep woods off, a must have in the summer/fall season. UPDATE, we just spent a week here, the park is awesome, but we have 2 beagle dogs. The guy beside us complained about them, even though they barley barked, come on, they are dogs. He was reading his book . We even put them up after that, my wife said he kept giving them a mean look when they were fishing. The volunteers are constantly riding around looking for something. If you are like us, in our 40's, stay up late, everyone is usually going bed 7:00. This is a older person's place to read and be very quiet. We wont be going back for that reason. Even one of the volunteers said, it's a wonder you haven't gotten any complaints on those dogs, that's whole reason to camp, to take your babies. We will go where we feel more welcome.

Nice campground.Pros:- A river runs right next to campsites. Every now and then we can watch a large barge slowly going by.- Sites are well spread and private.- Very level- Camp hosts keep it very clean- Bring your fishing poles!Cons:- Park management doesn't keep grass cut not even in the camp sites. There are lots of bees who like the tall weeds. My wife and I got bee stung multiple times just walking around the RV. That wouldn't happen is grounds were kept.- There is nothing to do around the area. Worse because of COVID im sure.- Can't catch any TV channels

We decided to escape the threat of Hurricane Irma by taking our RV to camp here. The whole family loved it. The staff at the park were absolutely fabulous, made us feel safe and welcome during a very difficult time. Many thanks to Ms. Sheila and Mr. Richard for looking out for us!

This Army Corp Campground has 30 camp sites, 11 are pull through on the river side, 3 back ins on the river side, 2 tent sites at the back of loop, and 14 back in sites across from the river and into the woods. All sites are large and level with concrete and asphalt pads, gravel areas with concrete picnic tables, stationary fire rings and grills, and pole hangers for your garbage or lights and some have wooden fish cleaning tables. All sites have water and 110, 30And 50 amp service. There is no sewer at any site but there is a well cared for dump station. The bathhouse is kept clean but is slightly outdated with plumbing fixtures and sinks that could be replaced but are functioning. There is a playground area near the bath house. There is a day use area that has a boat ramp, fishing area, picnic tables, grills, garbage containers, large modern playground and bathrooms. There are 4-1/2 miles of hiking trails which are in the process of being cleared after the last hurricane. The campground is safe as the gates gets locked at 10pm and don’t open until 6am so no drive through traffic during the night.
