Literally the worsted store i ever worked at. The general manager of the store is Victoria the most rudest person i ever met. She even told me that the only reason i got the job is because i knew the assistant manager at the time. Have you noticed it never been a BLACK person work at that store beside me? The store is always dirty and has racks of freight on almost every isle. N its just sad that victoria have been in charge over that store for so long n nothing have changed. The store still dirt,her employees keep quitting back to back cause they’re are tired of getting disrespected by victoria. The Dollar General in Coden really need a visit from the corporate! I wish i could give zero stars

This is my favorite store. Every time I go here I am greeted with a smile. The girls here treat me like I'm family. They may not have everything I am looking for, but it's ok. I rather go to a store where I am welcome and greeted with a smile, than a place that could care less.

Well since I love Dollar General so much I finally started looking for next favorite Dollar General and God did I find it literally 5 min from my house. It's like a mini mall with the best attitude customer service. I can breathe and shop and get assistance without the attitude. OMG. It is real. There are still amazing stores with the best. Sometimes you have to go the extra mile to get the best. 👌 Thank you to all the wonderful staff at DG in parks.

Rudest encounter I’ve ever had at a DG in my life! The night manager was extremely rude to her employee and then to me. It was near closing time and she was CLEARLY ready to go home. She told the employee to move and let her check me out because she could do it faster. Then she told me she would continue checking me as soon as I moved some bags. I told her she was being rude and she told me she wasn’t being rude but they close in 10 min and there were other people waiting. So I left.

They have a sale it started yesterday but the manger said there waa a glitch in the system and it wouldnt ring up at sale price she had to override it but would only do it for 2 i could pay full price for it and comeback and talk to manger to get the money i over paid back but i dont know if i belive it or not

The Dollar General store in Coden is like having a Walmart. I love not having to run up to Tillman's Corner just to pick up a few items.
