As checked out the cashier said you have one bag, when I got home, it was already dark and cold,I didn't have everything on my receipt I was missing the 3 things that had actually went in there for... It was too cold to worry about it as I live on cottondale side of wire Rd, I'm sure the same cashier will not be there today so I'm out the money cause of the cashier not paying attention

Pickup order was placed. DID not pick it up because over half my items were unavailable even though I had placed the order before the store even opened. By policy, at the end of the day if not picked up,should have been canceled. After closing hours it was checked as picked up and I was charged! Ridiculous!

I had a good experience at the Coaling DG . The store was clean, shelves were stocked all around Positive Check marks for things I look at when visiting a store. If they had more than 1 Cashier I would have given the Coaling Store. a5. Star Review. Oh and the Employees were GREAT !!!!

Wow! Very busy! I was greeted as I entered the store. Impressed! I've never experienced that at any other DG I've shopped at. Well stocked. Helpful and courteous employees. Only downfall was all the big buggies full of Pepsi products (routeman was there making a delivery) making it a challenge to negotiate the register area.

This is my go to store. They just remodelled. They now have fresh fruits and vegetables. But the isles are too close and hard to maneuver, especially when it's crowded. I have to hunt everything just about. They no longer have a few things that I always bought like Scott tissues and a floor wax. The spices are only basics. Over the holidays they didn't have cloves or nutmeg. Although they have my favorite frozen dinners and vegetables. I'm disabled and don't always want to load up my wheelchair and go to a regular food store.

This is the cleanest and most organized Dollar General Store I have ever seen! The people here are so helpful! I was looking for some epoxy to glue my yard sign for a listing and the young lady even called another store to help me!!

Place is a mess! Can't get to.the shelves because of all the carts parked in just about every aisle. It's a wonder no one has fallen in there yet....

The store is always dirty , they never have the shelves stocked , crates always blocks the isles .. been this way for a least a year ... Friendly people though ... Just needs proper management ..... I'm leaving my old post because it's worse ...there's never anything stocked it's a joke ... I don't no how there still open

I live in Brookwood and therefore I am much closer to the Brookwood DG location, but it has become so filthy and cluttered that I purposely drove to the coaling location because I thought that it would be better because it is a newer, standalone store.Well, not so. I think this location must be managed by the same people because it was almost as bad. It's as if nothing gets stocked onto the shelves; they just leave random boxes of things on a cart and park them in each and every aisle, sometimes right in front of where the items should go- this is exactly the way the Brookwood store is. It is very dirty and needs a DEEP cleaning (we even captured a live lizard and took it outside...😵). If the store would clean up and fix the clutter problem, I would def be a return customer.

Not the cleanest dollar store. Usually have to wait in line to long because only one cashier is open. Most employees are decent and always friendly.

Good close place to go. Friendly workers but there is a few that need attitude checks. Kinda friendly but don't mind acting like they don't want to be there

I often find great bargains here, even brand name items. The Dollar isle is great too. You can find holiday items there as well (e.g. Halloween, Christmas, etc.).

They have remodeled and reorganized. It still has a way to go in terms of getting the stock items out of the aisles and keeping the place cleaned up but it's an improvement over the past status.

Very rude short old lady today. 9/27/2020 always long lines and workers walking in circles! And then thry wanna close an hour and 15 mins early to clean floors.....Clean the floors after hours.

The Dollar General on MLK Jr Blvd Tuscaloosa Al has the rudest women working there ever. They are all African American , I am White. They treat me horribly while the other people of color all around me are laughing , smiling, and talking friendly. I am very offended as I am not prejudice and don't Act that way to others.

I live less than 2 miles from the Coaling store, but usually drive to the store in Vance. Reason? Coaling is dirty and cluttered and they always seem to be out of the items I need. The manager said they don't get to do the ordering; corporate sends them what they want the store to sell.
