Was there Friday night (11/03/23) and the employee in charge was extremely rude. Was trying to pay for some beer and she is nowhere to be found. Waited like 10 minutes. Line is getting longer and the customers wondering why. So I said self checkout was locked and the employee comes out of nowhere and says: Yeah cuz you got beer! In a very rude manner. Extremely unprofessional. Will be reporting to corporate as well. Please hire better people who actually want to be there and aren’t sarcastic to customers.

I always receive extraordinary customer service, the Clayton location is always stocked, organized, and clean. The head manager and assistant always go out of their way to satisfy their customers.

I work at this store and I also have a second job....the manager Mrs. Terri don't try to work with me and my second job. She puts me on the schedule to work one day and its the day I work my second job. This has been going on a month now. She only does this so that I can get fired. But I'm calling corporate and if nothing happens I have talked to a lawyer about it and I can take her to court. The store stay nasty all I do is clean and clean because their is so much junk and boxes everywhere. Our back room is full and seems like they never get any thing out. And the bathroom needs updating and cleaning.

Wish I could give 0 stars if that was optional. I went to the store at approximately 9:16 a employer was very rude and had the store locked. When I asked why she was closing so early she replied she didn’t have to answer to me. It was also 4 customers waiting on her to unlock the door, but she never did!! I will be reporting to the manager and corporate in the morning!! Very unprofessional.

Worst experience ever, the girl ran and locked the door @9:42 pm. I called the store, only to watch her pick up a cordless phone and hang up. I sat in the parking lot and called corporate. I will not be quiet while they continue to do this. The time is clearly posted they close at 10pm- everyday 8am-10pm - this is the 3rd time in less than a month that is has happened

This place really needs to close for a few days, get a Good cleaning and a good manager. You can never get down the isles cause there is carts on every all and they will be there a week from now.

Ive been coming to this dollar general for years. I was kicked out because my 1 year old didn't have shoes!!!!! There's a difference between running around barefoot and sitting in a buggy!! This man was very rude!

Very friendly people the only thing is the isles have allot of stuff in them and it's hard to move around. But other than that it's awesome
