All I can say is now I know why this store has received all these negative reviews!I visited this store on Deerfoot Parkway in Trussville, AL on 7/11/23 between 3:30 & 4pm. The manager was EXTRA NASTY! She said that we customers were stupid for always choosing the wrong register for self check out. She said either we can't read or we are just plain stupid. These comments were made in the presence of everyone in the store. Come on, Dollar General...get a RESPECTFUL MANAGER because as of that moment, I decided that I will NEVER come back!!!!

I still shop there for convenience but it is hard because it is very messy and out side is trashy, literally. Corporate or management or whoever, should make arrangements for enough employees to be there at least twice a week to do cleanup and garbage duty and clean the parking lot. One person cannot do everything.

I came by the store at 8:07 pm on April 14,2023. We were told they were closed. According to Google this stores is supposed to stay open until 9 pm. Not a good impression. Will never give my business to this location again. Very disappointed ☹️

The pictures of this Dollar General must be several years old. This store shelves are either empty or trashed. As most of the Dollar General around the Trussville area the stores are poorly staffed, low instock , cluttered with carts of returns, and pricing do not match the counter priced.

I love it here! I get mainly candy and monster energy drinks. I enjoy conversations with the cashier people. I tell them my wild dreams that I had the night before and they usually smile and nod instead of calling the police. They are super nice.

friendly staff and is always pretty clean! typically super picked clean though due to it being right next to a high school though lol. otherwise, this is my preferred place to go for a quick grab.

If you've seen one dollar general you've seen them all. The best price for beer in town if you like their selection. The best place to find bottled water for a nice price. Everything else Under the Sun, emergency supplies, tools, plastic containers and a fair amount of other things you could find at a pharmacy, that you just don't want to pay high prices for.

Isles always a mess and never stocked well. That's true for most locations. Only thing I like about dollar General is price in paper products if they are in stock and convenience of not having to go to a big store like Walmart for a few things

It seems the only employee in the store, when u can find anyone, is the cashier. High prices, limited choices, plus always unwelcoming feelings are everywhere. Also they choose to carry PLENTY of Alabama ftbll merchandise, but will NOT carry a single Auburn item. I was told by an employee this was on purpose!! I'd rather go without than spend .50 there!!

This store has gallon Barbers milk for only $3.50! Most stores sell it for around $5! I have 3 kids so we really go through milk and I save a lot of money by purchasing it here!

Accused of shoplifting by PATRICK the cashier on duty because I was looking in my pockets for my money he accused me of putting something in my pocket it was my phone I don't know how he could see anything because the sunglasses he was wearing at 7 pm inside the store probably hallucinating from the dope he apparently was smoking
