First time coming brought a recuse dog in that was shot and the Dr was absolutely amazing and understanding. Will be keeping this vet for my own pets and recuse ones.

My fur baby is struggling to get around, he is very old and today just wasn’t a good day, I called the office to see if they could see him today and was told no, even with his health condition that they are aware of, it is very upsetting that they will take walk ins but tell a long time client they can’t see their sick fur baby same day. I won’t be back, I should have stuck to my gut feeling the last time I had a issue.

I'm not from the area, and called a few vets around me when my cat Leo was experiencing some serious issues. Citronelle Vet was the only one who said to bring him in right away (on a late Friday afternoon) and Dr. Salmon took care of him with compassionate care. He talked me through the few could-bes while waiting on test results, and also gave me written documentation of his results and treatment in case I had to take Leo somewhere else over the weekend for emergency care. I didn't need to, as the care that was provided had him on the mend very quickly!

I'm just sorry that I had to go to four other vets to find Dr mike.he took time to explain to me what was going on with my dog and let me decide what to do, so many vets take advantage of ones love for their for their pets and absolutely rob you, but not Dr Mike, he could have gotten a thousand dollars from me, just on his say-so, but he gave me sound and truthful advise and let me choose but most of all, he took time out to talk to me face to face, I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone who cares deeply about their pets.THE REST OF YOU VETS, BETTER HOPE EVERYONE DOESN'T FIND OUT ABOUT DR MIKE!!!!!

Well just because the staff is nice and the prices are good does not save animals lives. I could over look the staff and even the price to save the life of a family pet. I took to dogs to this place 1 a few years ago and the vet said oh he is ok gave him a couple shots and sent him home. The dog was not doing any better so we took back the vet could not tell me why he was acting the way he was etc and did not even suggest taking him some where else treated him for something on a guess well 2 days later the dog died. Just yesterday we took another one of our dogs down to them because he was not acting right. He had already been diagnosed with a heart murmur and was given heart pills and was assured by the vet that as long as he took his meds he would live a little longer the dog was only 6 years old. Well yesterday like I said he was acting funny so we took him to be checked and again had no idea what was wrong with him he gave him a couple shots and this time the dog didnt last 2 hours by the time he got home and he died. I should have learned the 1st go around but I will definitely not take any of my animals to them and I suggest that if you truly care for your animal you best not take them here. I don't know where the vet or vets got their training but they need to go back to school. We called to inform the vet of what happened and all he could say was I thought we were doing the best we could do (thought) I am glad he is not an actual human MD there would be a lot of malpractice suites against them. I know this is just my opinion and anyone can give a dog a shot etc but this place sure as hell does not know how to take are of life threatening deals animals go through.
