Always a pretty clean store, aside from the stocking carts. All was fine til check out. Started out fine, inserted my chip, was waiting, asked about a couple of items on the counter as to whether they had 2 b bagged, and the attitude kicked in. Maybe she didn't mean it the way it came out, but all I heard was, "I'm waiting fo u 2 get yo other bags!" After that, no "have a nice evening" or anything! I said thank u and got no response whatsoever! So I believe the previous bag comment was intended as I heard it! Check the attitude! Customers basically pay your check!!***This review was a while back. More recently I've had to walk to this store due to my car not working, which means I've had to go here a lot! The current employees are great! Store is usually pretty well stocked, always clean. After the period of never knowing whether they were open or not, I think the issues have been taken care of, since I haven't seen or heard of any others in quite some time. Other than the prices usually being different from what's on the shelf tags, it's still a great, convenient place to shop! I sometimes just take pics of the tag of what I'm buying and just show them and they'll usually change it. This also keeps them from having to walk to the other side of the store to verify it, holding you and other customers up, causing friction and irritation between the 2. James one of the managers is sooo helpful and nice. He personally stopped stocking to get my favorite tea from the back of the store. I really appreciate him and think he deserves a raise ;)

Positive,Remodel looks great and layout very helpful. Staff is always nice and helpful.Negative,Parking lot beats my car all up. I really must have to go here or otherwise we try going somewhere else so we dont have to deal with parking lot. Sad but true.

Way nicer than any other DG! Very nice lady named Sam had a smile and great personality. Restroom was spotless also. It shows the people at this store show pride!

Love the new remodeled store, and there's so much more to choice from. A bigger variety to choose from and way more organized. And I've had great service since Chasity the Manager took this store over. She's a great Manager and very customer friendly.

Employees are kind, however please update your hours. Hours list 8am- 10pm. On multiple occasions I have sat in my car until 9 am when the doors finally opened.

The store is well stocked and clean. However, customer service here is awful.. i have never been to this store without a long wait... the WILL NOT open a second register for any reason. In fact, the other day had the manager actually walk from the front after clearly seeing the line was extremely backed up...

I LOVE my Local DGIt's a great store and overall, clean and well stocked. Not a big staff turnover so you know everyone that works there and they are very good at their job. Good Management equals Good Customer Service.

Customer service was great, cashier's name was DJ, and he was very nice and cordial. Did his job very well, even having to deal with an irate customer, he didn't lose his cool. Thanks for the great service.

Always friendly when I have been in there, just wish they didn't have all their inventory to stock blocking so many isles.Other than that its a great store.

They have what you need. Lord do these employees take their time! They seem to ALWAYS be on break crazy line 1 cashier while the others just stand around & watch that 1 person work... Expect you 10 min run in WILL take you 20 mins or longer bc your standing in line for more then 10 mins

As usual the cashier is rude. The stockers should work around the customer and not vica versa. They never have buggies close to the door for those of us who are handicapped.

Horrible customer service. I went in yesterday and bought a few items including a bra which had an antitheft device attached. The clerk did not remove it and No alarm sounded as I left. When I got home and wanted to put on my new bra I noticed that it was still on it so I tried to call the store over and over but Noone answered! When I went to the store I complained to the manager but she just blamed the poor service on only having4 employees as if that gives them an excuse for bad service and it's up to us, the customers to excuse it!

It is very nice. It has alot bigger selection than the other stores I've been in and all the employees are very pleasant and polite. I woul definitely recommend this location for my dollar general shoppers.

So sick of how rude the employees are at this store!!! There is no reason to be rolling your eyes and acting like you hate your job just because someone needs help, or talking to eachother while checking out a costumer, can’t even talk to the employees without them acting like your bothering them. Screw this place. Rude rude people

This location is larger than some of the area's older Dollar General stores. All the times I visited, the customer service I received were great. Sometimes, the store can get cluttered.

Had a great experience shopping there but the only thing that did not have any small lays potato chips or the bags with the different kind of chips in it other than that everything was fine

Only 1 person working, and said no one else came into work. There was about 30 of us waiting in line to be checked out, and it was so slow. Bad for businesses, bad management, bad scheduling, especially with it being Christmas season.

I always enjoy shopping In the Dollar General store--especially the one in Chickasaw, Alabama . The people that work there are so friendly and helpful. I think they are great on taking care of my needs.

I LIKE THE STORE AS IN THE IDEAMS THERE AND IT WOULD BE A VERY WONDERFUL STORE IF ONLY THEY WOULD GET SOME NICE PEOPLE IN THERE TO WORK THAT SAY HELLO TO YOU AND ASK IF THEY CAN HELP YOU IN ANYWAY. I'M NOT SAYING THE PEOPLE ARE BAD PEOPLE BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW THEM BUT THEY JUST DON'T OR WASN'T TAUGHT HOW TO WORK IN A STORE WITH SHOPERS WHO LIKE TO BE ASKED IF THEY NEED HELP OR EVEN JUST SAY HELLO, HOW ARE YOU TODAY.

Terrible representation of the Dollar General brand. Merchandise everywhere, can not travel the aisles, have to dig thru the merchandise, and the staff can not be bothered. The one shining spot is Teresa, one of the managers.
