The manager there has an awful attitude every time I see her in the store. I always try to be nice but she seems to avoid dealing with customers.I hear her complaining while she's standing by the entrance smoking with other employees about how she hates working at the cherokee store and only does so she can be in charge. I don't know what she's in charge of. The aisles are always crowded up with carts needing to be unloaded. Shelves are always half empty.Today I was walking up to the register as she was finishing ringing an older guy up. I called out to her. "Just a second. I'm coming." I made eye contact with her and smiled. She looked at me and her mouth tensed before she casually walks over to a nearby shelf. Pretends to leaf through some stickers. Strolls over to the office. Has herself a drink. Then converses with the employee who was sitting in the office. Then he comes out to check me out. Please don't ask me to explain why this was infuriating.After checking out. I went to find the manager to let her know that I was leaving a review for her and she wouldn't tell me her name. (I know it's some variation of "T" because the boy who finally checked me out told me.) She then proceeds to try to gaslight me by saying I was assuming things.I won't be back. They are building a new Dollar Tree across the street anyways.

Cherokees Dollar General has gotten it looking so much better. Freight being put up in a timely manner. Friendly and helpful employees working there

They had a few ppl in there with all register signs open but one one person was checking ppl out. All of the others were on their phone as the line backed up. Didn't have to wait too too long after I sat my items down at a register that the manager was attending. I've learned from the past to keep my purchases at a minimum when going in there.

Clean and well stocked, but had only one cashier at the busiest time of the day. Poor woman kept her cool while delivery trucks, customers needing help, and customers checking out all vied for her attention.

Such friendly employees. Great prices for cute home decor, groceries, clothing, and handy items to have for everyday life. Always easy to take kids to for them to pick out some toys and activites to do for cheap. Much better than dollar tree or Walmart.

I only stopped here long enough to use the restroom but it was clean and well-stocked. As a truck driver I know Virginia does a very good job and maintaining their public facilities like this.

The aisles are always full of boxes to put up, it looks so messy and not always a lot of stock on the shelves. This Cherokee store is not what it should or could be. Not that he most pleasant environment to try to shop in. Some sections look like a war zone.

The employee's are very friendly but they are always understaffed. A lot of the time there is only one employee working because the district office will not give the manager enough hours to give the employees.

The dollar general sucks in Cherokee because every time I go in the new manager calls the police and say I stoled something when I pay for all my stuff in really tired of it in about to take action
