This store feels like it's been here a very long time! I like the old-timey weigh scale in the front. Staff were very friendly and we found everything we needed, plus lots of good deals. The interior could use a lift, but otherwise a great experience. 😊👍If helpful, thanks!🙏

Despite the fact that prices are too high everywhere, Win Dixie a few good deals with friendly and helpful employees.However watch out for the coupons, some must be on the app, or something like that. Which resulted in thinking something was one price, and instead having to pay full price at check out.

This location had an excellent staff that was very propmt, helpful, and friendly. A huge selection of chicken, pork, beef and seafood. The produce and vegetables were all beautiful and fresh. All the items were stocked well and the inventory was full of hard to find items. The place was also very clean and presentable. I highly recommend and will be returning often.

I should start by saying I’m not familiar with Winn-Dixie’s in general. I’m only in Alabama for the winter and head back to my camp in upstate N.Y. in the summer. I do most of my shopping for everything at Walmart and we don’t even have Winn-Dixies in NY! I stopped in the other night to pick up a few items after a long day. I accidentally walked off and left my iPhone and wallet in the shopping cart in the parking lot. I didn’t even miss it until I was going to bed that evening. I used my ‘Find My Phone’ app and realized my mistake. My heart sank. Surely someone would have found and taken it by now!Driver’s license and credit cards would need to be replaced and the cash, of course would be gone for good! Not to mention replacing my phone. I already felt lost without it.When I pulled into the parking lot, the carts were inside as the store was closing soon.I didn’t hold out much hope, but was presently surprised when I asked if anyone had found it and was told they had it in the office! Everything was as I left it…even the cash was still there. Dee Dee refused to take any $ for her trouble. “It’s just the right thing to do”! I’m sure this story would have a very different ending back in NY!! The longer I’m in Alabama, the more I love it here. Such a refreshing change of pace to find these decent, honest people everywhere! You have a real gem here….but shhhh, don’t tell anyone🤫 Thank you to Dee Dee and the other gentleman whose name escapes me. (if I had any memory bandwidth left, I wouldn’t have left my phone and wallet in the parking lot to begin with!) I hope the good Lord blesses you both and you will definitely be seeing more of me in Winn-Dixie…another gem!

I was filling a prescription after my post heart surgery appointment and an infection at my catheter sight on my leg burst open. I lost 2 pints of blood and Debbie (one of the managers) made sure I made it into my friend's car to be taken acrossed the street to the fire station and the ambulance to be rushed to the emergency room for treatment that kept me from bleeding out. Everyone there has always been great during my shopping visits and a couple times I had Santa stop by for pictures but they repaid me with life saving care. That's a full service store! I love them all very much!!

One of the cleanest and fully stocked Winn Dixie I’ve ever seen. There fruit and veggies are very fresh. The deli cooks great fried catfish to order. Their pastries are very fresh. I highly recommend this Chelsea store.

I hadn't been in Winn Dixie in a while. But I've been having to go past it to get to appts. Been stopping in every time. Store is clean. Employees very nice. And I love the BOGO sales. I'd go out of my way to shop here.

They have a pretty good selection of everything except the fruit and vegetables seem to be lacking. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The bakery decorated my daughter's cake and it turned out beautiful! I like being able to pick up their rotisserie chickens for an easy meal.

They have some excellent weekend specials which we took advantage of today. They ask for masks on the door but only a few we're wearing them which delights me greatly. The staff were not concerned with those wearing masks and those who were not. Our state mask mandate is over (as it should be) and so am I (with masks). WD seems to honor the wishes of the customer.

This store has gone downhill. The produce is low quality.you can see potatoes rotting in the bags in the store. The tomatoes are soft and soon to spoil. The meat used to be great until last year. I can't tell you how many times we got home and went to cook and the meat was almost spoiled. No one cares at the Chelsea location. The prices have increased and the quality has gone down. Maybe it's time to hang up your store and call it quits. You're going to get someone sick off of your frozen, thawed and refrozen food.

Friendly staff and clean store. The staff at this location was actually willing to do their job and didn't cuss at customers or dog out their superiors in front of me so right off the bat they get a favorable review from me for that. I have not had as much luck with that from other locations. They don't have everything I want, but I was able to put in a request for it. I cannot be guaranteed that they will get it, but at least they were open to a request. I don't ask much from a grocery store but cleanliness and a friendly and helpful staff are must haves and this location did have those two things at least.

They always have the best sales. I bought 2 pork butts for .99 cents a pound. My son smoked them on the grill and they were delicious and there was lots of meat for such a little price!!

Now I see why no one hardly ever frequents this Winn-Dixie! I say that because while being at the checkout lane, a causcasian male (whom appears to be in high school) didn't seem to be all that friendly. True enough, he had greeted me, but I could tell that he wasn't too particular about doing so because he was very dry in doing so. After I had given him my money, he gave me back my change, yet & still didn't even put my item in a bag. Instead, he had lain it on top of the counter with the receipt on top of it. Personally, I felt like it was very disrespectful & unprofessional! icularHowever, I'm not worried about it because it'll come both a day & time when someone will do him the same exact way! After all, there is a thing called Karma which (unlike the treatment that he had given me) does not discriminate! If I could, I would give it no stars at all because of how horrible that the service is towards people of color in particular!

We found everything we went inside for, including some really good looking rib-eyes. Their prices were comparable to Publix and we got great friendly service from the young man who checked us out. I will definitely go again.

Typically I have a great experience with this Winn-Dixie. Today I stopped in to grab some lunch at 2:30 p.m. because I was hungry and it seemed like it might be the safest option. When I got to the deli the lady was not wearing a mask over her mouth and nose and she was preparing the rotisserie chickens ready. I just bought some pepsi and left. In my humble belief and opinion masks don't work under your chin. I'll definitely try this store again but I will definitely not tolerate ignorance as to my beliefs. The other employees and vendors all seem to be doing the right thing.

Usually customer service is great but today had an unpleasant experience. I have lost my WD card and was told by management previously to just wait for the new cards to come out. However, today's manager gave me a hard time when I explained what the previous manager had told me and almost flat out refused to give me about a $3 discount. Have never had this problem!!!!! Won't be going back if this is her attitude!!!!

Questionable commentary from employees near the produce aisle. Stale bread at the bakery, made with low quality ingredients. Pumpernickel bread tasted and felt like cardboard. Everything was nice and clean.
