Very helpful staff. Went there today and they loaded heavy bags of horse feed for me-I didn’t even have to ask them. A few times they have been short staffed but I have always had a good shopping experience there.

Shout out to Doug & the team at Chelsea AL Tractor Supply. We’ve been shopping there for years for H/W & pet supplies and have always had a great experience. They always greet & offer assistance. Doug went above the call of duty last Sat. I am totally disabled & last week we had a bad tire go flat as we entered the parking lot. Although dozens of people drove in & out, not one offered help. Once Doug learned of the situation, he came out with the tools & did the entire tire change including inflating the never before used spare. It’s nice to know that there are still good people in the world. I would hazard to guess that if this had happened at the big blue or orange box stores, the story would have been different. Thx to everyone there for being a true neighborhood store & just good people.

This location is racist, no one would assist my husband. When he walked up to ask for help before he could utter a word the guy said that he didn’t work in the department and would get someone else and walked away. No one ever came to assist. He watched as they assisted the white ppl coming in. The white ppl were also being greeted when they came in. My husband was never acknowledged

There are always pallets in the aisles goes against ada compliance. Items on display that are not in stock. The displays are apparently not available to purchase. Last time I was there someone had covered vomit on the floor with voban. It was like that the entire time I was in the store. It didn’t look like anyone was in any kind of hurry to clean it up. This place is terribly managed.

Had bought some fish food for my pond, got home and noticed part of bag was wet. Go back and told manager. He went over and beyond to make good. Threw in an extra bag. This is the way to take care of your customers and keep them coming back. Thank you

Not a huge selection here but they definitely have all the basic necessities that you may need without going over the mountain. The staff are usually nice but there are never more than 2 employees there at a time (at least none that I have ever seen). Prices are average, as well as quality of items in the store.

I work here, some of our employees can be quite rude at times, but not always. The prices can be high, but we do price match if you have proof such as a receipt where the item was bought or a picture of where you found it and the price, where we will be more than happy to match that price. Also, for those interested in propane fill-ups, Monday through Friday there is almost always someone there from 8 until 4, however the weekends are touchy. Just call ahead of time to make sure someone is there and that will save you a pointless trip.

This is the only Tractor Supply I have ever had a bad experience at and it’s happened more then once. The staff just seems to have an poor attitude. I had to ask someone to get some dog food from in back. The associate, Jessica I believe, pretty much threw it at me and walked away. I’ll stick to the other Tractor Supplies where the attitude is better.

I love this particular store!!!!! The staff have always been extremely helpful and they let you shop without hounding you. Clean bathrooms, and store. I know where things are. Their clothes are good quality.

We go here for various products to use on the farm. I always feel like they could do more with this store as we have been to other TS stores that are better set up. Most times they have what we need. The staff is always helpful and courteous.

They r judgemental and rude. Need to treat customers way better if ur going to stay open. And propane season is the worst they are never available for propane and do rude to certain people it's pathetic

Was not thrilled with the cashier's attitude at all, was buying some high tensil wire which was marked 19.99 and she wanted to charge us 119.99. Wife had to go back outside and get a tag off another roll bc the cashier could not find it in her book,then she acted like she got mad bc we kept buying stuff from outside that she had to look up in her book. We spent $402 this trip and just under a $1000 last week and expected any business would be thrilled to have customers spending that amount of money in their store in a week's time. Also had employees stocking items in the middle of the isle's and had them mostly blocked but didn't want to move and stated my wife could just step over them instead. The cashier's attitude was our biggest issue,she continued to look thru her book even after we had pointed out the item to her that we wanted to purchase,with people waiting in line behind us. She acted like we were making her work to much bc she had to look items up in her book which were located outside of the main building,needed a few more items but with her attitude and people waiting behind us,I forgot about them. Luckily, Home Depot is just down the road and I can get those items there instead.

I like this Tractor Supply Co. for its convenience to Chelsea. Unfortunately, the selection is often not what I need. The website indicated that they carried bags of concrete, but they do not... they carry a small selection of pvc pipe, but not many fittings (was needing 2" and they had no fittings at all)... etc. It may be worth trying before driving all of the way up to The Home Depot, but don't be surprised if they don't have quite what you're looking for.

Can never get a propane tank filled. Even after being guaranteed that if i arrived before 3pm there would be someone qualified to do it there has not beenLast week after standing at the gate for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come out when they did said GM was only one there certified and that is him leaving for lunch. As i turned and saw him getting in his vehicle and drive away. Such poor service and by management no less.

They have a good selection for your farm or yard and a few other items to help around the house. They are just as high priced as anyone else these days, hence the 3 stars. Stuff shouldn't be priced as high as it is anywhere. So from now on everyone needs to start knocking 2 stars off for stores overpricing their products.

Always enjoy visiting Tractor Supply in Chelsea. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. They always have a varied supply of the products I need for my chickens. It is very nice to have this store in Chelsea!

I came here to get my rv propane tanks for my rv filled. They had a attitude about filling them. They were to expire in 9 months. They refused till I had them resurtified. They had not passed the date yet. I had them resurtified and they still gave me problems. They said I should go inside and buy new ones. The employees always seem to be mad at somebody. Usually me for coming in to buy something. Very poor service. They never have what you need and don't want to order what you need.

The manager is not very friendly. The cashiers are nicer then the management. They are extremely slow and hardly anyone works to refill propane. I would thinks that would be ur number one sale in winter time especially, yet they're hardly someone certified working. Your losing a lot of business. But that's ok apparently u haven't changed in having someone qualified to work propane every shift so I guess we the public can take our money else where? If not get ur act together. Other than the rude management and no one for propane the store is overall good place to shop

Great store for lots of yard, farm and work supplies. We went to get a brooding lamp for some chicks that were about to hatch. At this time you can also buy chicks there too!
