Dollar General has been busy stocking shelves for upcoming holidays.Covid-19 has kept a lot of people at home. I went there for fabric softener and came out with a beautiful wall clock & softener.Nice place to shop

No one seems to want to stock the shelves. Waist of a good remodel if you ask me. Its sad when you have to move carts full of merchandise just to get through the store because they don't want to do their jobs. And when you ask a clerk where something is you get attitude with a rude answer of I don't know maam I don't stock shelves I run the register. I couldn't help but respond with apparently no one stock the shelves and walked out and went to CVS for what I needed. Such a waist.

If I could rate it a 0 star that's what it would be. Every every every time I go in there , theres at least 5 people ahead of me with one register open . The employees are not very polite. I'm the one that says thank you , and they just act like they didnt hear a word I said. I'm just going to be polite anyways, but today was the last day for me. Maybe if they lose enough customers something will be done.

The prices they show on the shelves and in the ads for many of their sale items seem very deceptive to me. When you finally get to the register after waiting in the perpetual line that is always at DG, you find out that the advertised price only applies if you download an app, text a code to a number, go to a site and sign up, and only then can you scroll through all the stuff to digitally clip the coupon to get the dollar off that is basically implied as part of the sale. After standing in the unreasonably long line and after explaining that you aren't downloading anything and no you don't want to sign up for anything etc, youre too ticked off to go back and pick another item without the deceptive ad, so you just pay the regular non sale price for the brand you only chose because it was cheaper than your regular brand due to the "sale".I am honestly never going back to this store again, because this truly was the last straw. There are some nice people who work there and it is not their fault. The lines are due to inadequate staffing of cashiers and the policy set by the company regarding sales and the pre-printed ads can't be blamed on the store clerks. Dollar General is no longer worth a hassle because of better prices at times, and I can get everything I need at their actual price or better using my Walmart savings catcher app.

Here at the Dollar General you will find decently helpful staff and a slightly cluttered environment. You can find almost anything you would expect out of a dollar store. The prices and moderate slightly more expensive than Walmart. Overall is a decent Dollar General...

I've noticed most Dollar Generals are close to same, with same merchandise, sales, clearance, etc... except the DG in Centreville. The clearance in this store seem to be marked up or they have put their excess items on clearance aisle and try to trick folks into thinking they're getting a "steal of a deal". Check those prices, people!

Its quick and convenient and if I need just one or two items I can park up close as opposed to parking a long way away and having to walk into a big chain store

Always 1 cashier working..waited 25 mins to check out. What is it with DG cutting help so badly? Horrible on employees. Dispise going in there..no more...

Dirty store, dirty workers and the store is in shambles. Stuff is just thrown everywhere. Nothing is ever stocked and clercks are not friendly. Bad bad situation.

I don't know why but the self checkout wasn't working. And it seemed that the employees would man the registers when they see long lines. It's always a bit messy.

Left my phone by mistake in the store lady found the phone I was looking when I said that's my phone accusing me of not being the owner of phone when I said another day laboring a brother like he do not have that nice type of phone I guess lol
