The prices on jewelry are criminal. I’m an antique dealer who specializes vintage costume jewelry. They have several items marked 70, 80, 90 or more dollars that at most I could get $20-$30 for. Do they realize what thrift stores are supposed to be for?I can’t imagine what metric they are using to determine value, but nobody is getting those prices for these items anywhere .

Introducing Love Lady Antique Shoppe😂 what happened to this place? Went by a couple days ago and almost everything I picked up, which was 30+ items was priced at the same retail price as you could find online so what’s the point? Recently I guess and antique dealer had donated their inventory after going out of business so love lady saw it fit to leave all these tags on and price their own tags about a dollar cheaper…I also noticed that several pieces of furniture that was there 3 months ago is still there bc it’s priced crazy high for furniture with dings and dents. Look it I get that attempting to hose your customers for every single dime you can is what most businesses do these days but you are a thrift store, your job is to move tons of inventory quickly not price it so high that everything will sit for months. Luckily there are other thrift stores throughout the county that realize what a thrift store is.

I'm visiting from Kenctucky and this store is one of a kind. I've been to many thrift stores but this one had a librian on duty. She was so helpful and polite. I'm used to sepending a lot of time in the book section hunting good reads but it was no problem finding christian books. The best was the little price sticers came right off. I hate having those little piece of sticker stuck on my books. amazing experience I will be back before I leAVE TOWN

I would consider myself an avid thrifter, and this place has some great finds. However, this place also has *the* most outrageous prices I have quite literally ever seen in a “thrift” store. I think I made an audible gasp when I saw a denim jacket was $75, and even had “vintage” written on the tag. And vintage it was, but please do not call yourself a thrift store if you are going to have prices of that as a curated vintage boutique.Ps - I also saw a dickies shirt that you can get at Walmart brand new for $5, priced at $10. Lmao

New to the area and this store was my first love, love of the area! Everyone is pleasant. The quality of the products placed on the sales floor is clearly scrutinized. The atmosphere allows for a pleasant, relaxing shopping experience! This store is a must for any finicky frugal shopper!!!!

Nice consignment shop with good deals. Somethings seem a bit over priced but you pay for what you want. The cashier's are nice and friendly. I'm there every Monday. I dont want to pick a favorite but I'd like to recognize Ms.Brenda. She goes above and beyond or maybe she like me lol

Terrific thrift store experience! Lovelady had a HUGE selection of nice items at really reasonable prices. I purchased a gently used, quality outdoor set for a very good price, and I couldn't be happier with it. The ladies let me pay, leave to get my truck, and then helped me load it when I came back. The have clothing, furniture, knickknacks, electronics/appliances, jewelry and more - and all in seemingly decent to excellent condition. This was one of the best thrift stores I've been to, and I highly recommend it. Plus, you're supporting a great organization when you choose to shop there.

This store has SOME great deals when it comes to some of their items they have for sale, from my understanding the purpose of a thrift store is for those who don't have the means to shop at a retail store therefore they go to a second hand store or thrift store to take advantage of those deals. With that being said, when it comes to any kind of name brand or designer clothing that had been donated to them for whatever unnecessary reason they decide to price gouge these donated items which I believe is very immoral

I found this beautiful manager snow globe at the Lovelady Thrift Store. It lights up and has snow and plays Away in the Manager.I was so excited.

It's very well put together for the amount of things they have their easy to move maneuver around the store I needed a handicap shower chair I found one for $10

Store was very organized and it was easy to find the size and type of item I was looking for. The dressing room was not open so that was a little inconvenient as we were looking for something to wear to an 80s dance and we are not from the area so we don't have the option of returning items. Also, a few items were way overpriced but for the most part prices were okay. Cashier was very friendly. 😊 We found an awesome blue jean vest so we left happy!

Everyone who know me know I am a thrifter. And I love high end name brands. But one thing I am not is a fool. I went to the one in centerpoint and they had a fake Burberry coat for 100.00. And this one had two fake Louis Vuttion purses. One for 149.00 and another one for 199.00. Even pointed it out to the manager they were fake because they had no serial numbers. And the patterns did not match up like they are suppose to. Offered me a 30% discount. Dude I can drive to Atlanta and get one from the flea market with a wallet for 50.00

The employees doing the pricing clearly don’t know the difference between a thrift store and an antique store. The prices are ridiculous. The store is not well lit so make sure you thoroughly check clothing for stains before you get to the register. Wear a jacket because the heat is never on in this place. My heart goes out the employees for having to work in those conditions. There’s also no hot water in the restroom. Save your money and go to the thrift store down the road. It’s not worth stopping here.

I wanna start off by saying that I love what this store stands for, however the prices has gotten completely out of hand with how expensive everything is. They also don't allow the management to price items without tags on them, what's the point of a manager when you don't let them do their job? Very disappointed, probably won't be back.

I drove 30 minutes to shop and donate my clothes here. I wanted to donate my clothes here because of how the proceeds are used. I will not be returning to shop for myself however because they still won’t let you try on clothes. I am very disappointed. I cannot waste the time and gas to take something home only to find out it doesn’t fit. I guess I will have to go to a department store. If I hear this changes will be happy to patronize again.

This is my first time at the Lovelady Thirit in Clay and I was deeply impressed with the variety within the store and the sheer size of the store. The employees were extremely pleasant and warm. It was a one of a kind experience from an organization that helps so many deserving people within their community. I hope and pray that that level of commitment continues for many years to come.😀

Prices are getting ridiculous for a thrift store, saw a Incomplete gamecube and Nintendo 64 for 99.99, they don't even know if these items even work. Very disappointed how thrift store are higher than retail. When people are just driving up giving stuff to them, thinking their trying to make a difference. When all an all they're trying to make as much profit as they can like Walmart or any other retail store.
