The store is great! Produce has been slacking lately but I don't think it's their fault. They are always very nice, especially the gentleman that is super friendly. The only complaint I have is about the pharmacy. I'm actually going to be switching because it's always problem after problem and it's so slow.

I always enjoy my experience here. Everyone is friendly, and approachable, the store is organized and clean, and checkout is pleasant. What more can I say? oh, and the parking lot and cart storage is amazing!

I got a half sandwich ( ham and turkey) with double meat at the deli. It was fantastic! Warning: only do this if you are very hungry and don't have anything to do after you eat it. I wanted a nap. LOL!

Drive thru to pharmacy has ended up becoming an 1 hour 25 min wait now. But when I got to the window I ask to pick up My Father's medication with Money and I.D and address to confirm and got to leave in 5 mins.If I could walk on my ankle I would have gone inside, but there is no reason for a wait that long with 8 cars in front of me. They have a staff of at least 7 people but now Publix has 2 hour wait drive thru along with 3 hour wait on medication to be filled. What has happen with Our store?

Love it. 10/10.All employees welcome and make sure you are getting the best you can service and information wise. This specific store has no problem doing special orders whether it be meat, drinks, or even a mini cake. One thing is consistent between Florida and Alabama, and that is Publix.

Nice clean store and friendly staff. Like many grocery stores in the country, they are sometimes low or out of stock on some items. However, they maintain a good supply of "necessary" items like fresh & frozen foods, dry goods, paper products, drinks, and of course junk foods. [It's a hit or miss if you're looking for a few domestic & imported beers. Moosehead, Corona Familiar (dark), and even Micelob Gold Lite & Rolling Rock is getting harder to find anywhere!)

Placed an order on 11/19 for pickup on 11/24. Pickup was at 9am. I got there at 10 just to make sure they had enough time to get it ready. It was a medium fruit tray and medium charcuterie board. Nothing was ready and they tried to say they never even got the order. I ordered through the app. The bakery had the cake, that I ordered in the same transaction, ready so I KNOW they received the order. I didn’t have time to wait for them to make them. The assistant store manager was helpful but what he suggested, a large bowl of mixed fresh fruit and the pre-packaged meat and cheese charcuterie, was more expensive, less food and no presentation. He did offer $20 off… i declined and paid for my items.

Last night, I was surprised to see that the deli was still open because my children wanted subs and I thought the deli was closed. Only one guy was working at the time, so he had to make subs as well as help customers who wanted to purchase deli meat for sandwiches. As the line grew behind me, Kirby never looked rushed or frazzled and he found a way to greet everyone. He patiently made all 3 of my subs and somehow these were the best subs I've ever bought at Publix. Kirby is an exemplary employee and he should be recognized in whatever system Publix utilizes.

Worst Publix pharmacy I have ever been to. Slow and incompetent doesn't even come close to describing this place. Somebody please fix this pharmacy. The location is very convenient, but I'm going to have to find somewhere else.

Moved here in 2021 and the Calera Publix experience was great. In this past year there have been management changes Made in the deli and meat departments. The meat department has good and bad days, but needs more consistency. The Deli Department is HORRIBLE. They never have fresh hot food. What's there has been there for hours if you can find anything. There has been an employee turnover issue since the new deli manager came in. We can never find what we need, and nothing looks very fresh and appetizing in the fresh hot meal area. There is never enough fried chicken of any kind including wings & chicken fingers and when they run out early, no one makes more. The store is losing customers and money because people would rather go to Alabaster or Pelham stores where the service and selection is excellent. Corporate needs to take a look and make some improvements and changes to get this corrected.

Clean! That's so important work grocery stores.And the customer service I received was fantastic! Good customer service is normal with Publix, but a clerk in the produce department really went above and beyond.

Not a great experience at all! Does the store phone ever work? Does the pharmacy phone ever work? Why is there always a long line for prescription pickup? Why is there only one pharmacy tech working the register when you have a long line? I WILL be moving my Rxs to Alabaster. Longer ride but better service.

I like this publix super market because it's always clean, organized. In this Publix, they sell sushi that they make, tasty soups that they make. And they have fresh and tasty fruits and vegetables, and they have an isle with overseas foods. I get stuff there like I would get in Ukraine or Europe. They even sell Ukrainian borshch in jar, but it is not a real borshch. They have just beetroot in water, which is not a borshch.They have tasty polish sausages and like homestyle pickels at the fridge meat section. Bakery in publix has tasty cakes, we ordered our wedding cake in Publix bakery. Staff is super nice and can help you to bring your stuff to your car and unload if you need help.

Awesome store! Fully stocked shelves with a great selection of everything, especially fruits! Very clean and bright. My favorite part of visiting the store was the associates!! Very nice, helpful, and personable. Many even shared jokes and laughs with us. One of the best and friendliest Publix I had ever been to in the South. Great job all!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Rating is for the pharmacy. Slowest service ever… and No indication of customer service training. This pharmacy doesn’t make me feel like I’m at Publix. Seems more like a Walmart. Wish they would open another pharmacy in the area so we didn’t have to deal with the headache of this Publix pharmacy.

Ordered a cake for a shower. The decorations on and writing were awful. Even my guest could not believe it came from publix. I was so disappointed..I called and was told to bring my receipt back for a refund. Which I will do but that doesn't help the disappointment at the shower.

Stop and brought some fried chicken here at 7pm. Not many pieces to choose from and the staff said no more was being cooked for the day we purchased the last 5 pieces, the chicken was tasty after we heated it up after getting home.I find this store had some high prices. 99 cents for 1 small lemon 🍋 is ridiculous, in my opinion. I also purchased slice watermelon and pineapple in a container, and neither were sweet

Very clean store, very friendly employees and atmosphere . I was also able to find the perfect size birthday cake for my husband at the last minute. Thank you very much Publix for always being there when I need you and pretty much every city that I go to. You are my favorite grocery store EVER! I also love your Bogo sales❤️

This pharmacy is a JOKE! I came in on 9/20/23 to get my sons prescription. The lady was in a rush and said she couldn’t find it and told me to leave because there was a few more people behind me in line.I went home and called the Dr. The Dr said the prescription was put in to the pharmacy in August. I called Publix and they found it just fine. Said it would be ready that night at 7:30pm. We didn’t make it that night.I came in on the next day on my lunch break. Same lady was at the counter. She finds it this time and then proceeds to tell me that it ISNT READY!!!!!! So I had to wait even longer to get it filled. Absolute chaos.
