12/4/23Store opens at 8am employees are outside ready to work but manager (key holder) no where to be found. One of the employees already called the manager he/she running late. It seems new management not really that great hopefully they can find a better responsible person next time.

I just went by to purchase some notebooks and ended up with a few other items.The store was clean and organized so, I didn't have to search every where for items like I do at other dollar stores.They have a decent variety of craft items considering the price.The wait time was not bad being only two employees and several customers.

On Thursday December 8, 2022 around 2:28pm I found for the second time that there was only one cashier again. She was very courteous, professional, patient and very polite who consistently tells her customers to be patient and that she was very sorry for the long wait. But if they would just have a little patience she would get to them.However, it’s not right to only have ONE CASHIER in the store when the line is always back to the freezer or all the away around. Next, when I saw this I just turned around and left. Because there is no way I was going to get in that line. It’s a shame for a manager to have cut down cost to one cashier to save money especially when the prices have been rises higher. I don’t understand why the manager isn’t there in the store to assist this overworked, underpaid employee. I wish I had her name because I would print it but we all know and she deserves 10 plus ⭐️’s.Also, there should be expiration dates on the items in the store especially the cookies, cakes, and candy. The cookies in the can were very stale and I ended up throwing them away. You must have expiration dates. But on the whole I give this store 3.5 out of 5. Please hired more people and a better management for this store. It’s really tiring to have to travel to another location just to get a one or two items when you live close by.

I've always found what I went looking for. Love the price 🤩🤩 who can't beat $1.00 these days! I've always had friendly cashiers but I've also greeted them with a smile first. My parents taught me to always smile at someone and say hello because you never know if they are having a bad day or not and just might need your smile and kindness.

My fourth visit only because it is convenient and I was hoping they had cleaned up since my last visit. NOPE!! Filthy floors, understocked and again the cashier was on her phone. She had her headset plugged into her phone by her register. She ask me twice how I was and I am sure that was due to her lack of focus while talking on her phone and it was a personal call.Please management and store owner do something!!!!

The cashier who helped bus was not pleasant at all I looked for a name tag but she didn't have one she was African American with red finger nails she needs to work on her people skills I wish I could have seen a manager. We ask where something was in the store and she was irritated because we ask a question ⁉️

It is Dollar Tree but to see three associates working, only one manning the register, one stocking and the third on her phone, on speaker, giving her son warnings to not dress slouchy or "she'd go upside his head" just isn't right. What made it worse was this was the manager. Sad.

This store has gone down hill since they moved. Cashiers are checking their cell phones while ringing you up, some were rude with no "thank you", at least the shelves are looking better than before. The managers stand around talking to cashiers. They have 3 registers and only open one waiting untill lines are backed up to open another. Some employees don't follow dress code. I used to work at Dollar Tree and my manager would have been appalled at the way this store is ran!! The Alabaster store is so much nicer and friendlier.

I go here at least once a week... the past several visits the cashier has been on her phone talking the entire time I was there, even when she was ringing us up. The shelves are not stocked and you can never find anything. Today was the last straw, while in line waiting to be rung up she actually asked me if I could wait there while she went to her vehicle and got a mary kay book out for the customer in front of us! The customer told her to finish her line first. I asked her to wrap my glassware (about 10 pieces) and she told me she had no newspaper and argued about it. I'm pretty sure I'm done with this joke of a location.

Just went in to get a few things for a birthday. I asked about balloons and this lady was so ridiculously rude I ended up leaving the store and all the things I had intended on purchasing. I am never rude to people and usual don't say anything to people who are rude to me, however I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. Will not be going back and it's a shame because I used to go there all the time.

The cashier wearing a green t shirt today standing at the last cash register saw customer coming to checking out and she left her post and went to the other register for her to time out! Even thought she saw us 3 customers standing and looking if she going back to her post. Instead she goes straight out to the door. Instead of letting her co worker know she is leaving to replace her to her post , Very unprofessional! The lady stocking the items Shondra had to be call to assist 4customers to help us check out.Thanks to Shondra!

Stopped by this location yesterday to pick up stuff for work and thought the cashier was nice. She made a mistake and rung up a container she was putting together and ran it out to my car because she had just realized the mistake.

Awful new store new ppl that are not friendly at all just Awful this store will not get my business. As long as the ppl that is working in it not sure who did the hiring but you might. Need to send in secret shopper and oh make sure they are Black with mix kids and take A 100.00 bill in and see what happen your ppl at this Calera store need a reality check and I almost gave it to them this morning. A wide variety of bargains...do not confuse this store with those small Dollar Tree stores you find in some corner shop.....this store is large enough to keep you bargain shopping for hours.
