Oh man the attitude on the cashier. Chatting with friends at the store while there is a line of customers waiting on her. You ask her for a price and she answers with an attitude. So dry and so darn rude to customers. She just wants to find a way to get mad for no reason. Pass me the basket! Am like ill put it back where it was. Rude as hell. Going to a different store from now on. Obviously this is just a job to this woman, nothing else. Find some employees dollar general!

It's okay the Ailes are always packed with product and you can never find an employee & when you do they are rude and never want to check you out so you constantly have to use the self checkout, if it is working. Store never seems to have any food products and nothing in every has a price on it especially in the Seasonal section...When the store first opened it was great font know what happened.

Absolute worst. Cashiers are beyond rude. I ruined a pair of jeans I was wearing just by shopping in their store. Every product was covered in bleach residue. Very unprofessional and horrible customer service!

The cashiers here are horrible and have bad attitudes, with the exception of one young lady who always seems to be working and is very nice and welcoming every time I come in. She's a young black woman. Everyone else is absolutely mean and completely no help at all. I ask for assistance and I'm met with rudeness.

Awful store! Let’s start with the parking lot. So much oil, grease, old gum & trash, it’s disgusting! Next, the front glass doors look like they haven’t been cleaned in years...nasty. Front doors always propped open in the summer, so it’s about 90 degrees in there. Don’t bother getting a cart....you can’t navigate it up and down the isles with all the stock sitting everywhere, and I mean everywhere! If you do manage to find an item you needed in stock, be prepared to wait a while to check out. You either can’t find a clerk (believe me, they’re not busy stocking) or they have one register open with 10 people in line. Total nightmare from beginning to end, and it’s like this all the time. I won’t go in for months and think, I’ll try again and see if they’ve got it together yet.....nope!! Never do. This has been going on for the past 8 years I’ve lived here, so nothing new. Seems like since they re-designed the interior layout a few years back, it’s gone downhill from there. You can only cram so much stuff in a small space. The clothing isle always looks like a bomb just went off.......no, make that the entire store looks that way!!Just don’t understand why this store can’t seem to get organized. I’m sure it’s a fire hazard!

I love coming here to do some quick shopping. It is never too busy & they always have the few items that I may need that day. The associates here are always so helpful & nice. Store is always scattered with merchandise. Isles are cluttered with items. A lot of times it shows an item to be there, by the bar code on the shelf, but the shelf is empty and none in the stock room. Some employees are very rude and act like it is a above them to help you. If you try to call, don't waste your time, they won't answer. This store could do much better at maintaining is merchandise

It's Dollar General. Cluttered, full of "colorful personalities" and tons of stuff that will break the same day you buy it. However, they do have great discounts on snacks and those odds and ends that are disposable. All in all a good place to shop.

This store has terrible air-conditioning. The chocolate is always melted during warm weather, I dare not purchase anything from the frozen section. They can't keep employees, but even when they get a few decent ones trained...the store is never properly stocked, and is a disorganized cluster of everything... except what is needed. Expect long lines 60% of the time, if you can find a cashier and get them to their register to assist you.

This store is always so nasty, they have the aisles blocked off 2 hrs before the store actually closes. In the mornings they LITERALLY pour bleach on the floors to the point it burns your eyes. Last night they ran out of bags, so they were putting your items in trash bags....lol

I shop at Dollar General quite a bit and I really do not understand why they are so messy. Its not just one but many of them in the surrounding areas are the same way.They need to update their card readers. It never fails when I check out and use my card it always tells me it's the wrong pin. It's not the wrong pin. But it takes a few times before it finally goes through. Ugh.

I go to this store at least 4x a week.It's been about a month and they still have not restocked one of my favorite snack foods, but all of the employees that work there are great and very helpful.

I wasn't impressed. Cluttered, not very organized and everything on sale we wanted to buy had a catch and wasn't actually the sale price. The gal working the cash register was nice, the other one working was not friendly.

I like Dollar General a lot. They have some things I buy cheaper than Walmart. It's so convenient just 3 blocks away. The cashiers are so friendly too!

The staff is great but the store is a wreck! I don’t know if they don’t have room for what’s being sent to them or what but it’s hard to find anything half the time because either what I’m looking for isn’t there, there’s stuff strolled everywhere or there’s a ton of boxes that haven’t been opened yet

Although Dollar General Stores hires people from all nations, the store is often careless when it comes to customer care. A Dollar General store employee on Jeff Road in Harvest, Alabama, once stole some items that the customer left and the customer never even got a call from the GM about the theft. Now, for absolutely no reason, except for the ignorance of the store manager, the police were called on a customer who is a regular customer at the store. Vickie, another manager, was kind, professional and caring. The police called was a man of GOD. Thus, thank GOD Sargent Christopher Blake Atkins answered the call and not some callous officer with a pattern of beating down unsuspecting citizens.Consequently, when someone is guilty of calling the police for frivolous reasons, that person should be met with the strictest jail time because police are overworked, underpaid and for the most part risking their lives for people who, generally, don’t care about anything but themselves. As a Fortune 200 company located in over 40 states, Dollar General Stores should have to face a class action cause for their part in hiring ignorant, unprofessional as well as discriminatory acts. Does Dollar General Stores even drug test?

I like shopping the Dollar Store but I dont understand why only one cashier is working the checkout and the other employees are on the floor stocking shelves. There should never be a line of no more than 3 people in line waiting and DG employees stocking shelves. I believe serving the customer should come first instead of stocking shelves.

Dollar General advertises digital coupons, but doesn't honor them when a customer makes a purchase. For the 3rd time today, I spent over $25 to use the $5 coupon with a $25 purchase and the coupon was not honored and when I asked the cashier about it, they always say they don't know anything about it. Bad business! False advertisements! Lesson learned!

I recently bought the clover valley rice and about half way through the bag, I noticed bugs, moths and beetles alive in the bag and thousands of small bits of fecies. Obviously my first thought was maybe it came from the bag being opened during or after processing and sale.. Until today, I went to Dollar General, which by the way is my favorite store, but during my trip I passed the rice so I grabbed a bag, and then that's when I noticed the same bugs, moths and beetles, with the same thousands of tiny bits of fecies.. I then told the manager and showed her, we went back to the isle to notice all the small bags were fine, but the medium and larger bags were full of it.. so my advice check your food before you buy it, especially CLOVER VALLEY RICE..

This store needs an update. Every time I go in here, it's nasty. They line up their task carts to restock but they take up the aisle you need to go down then they get mad when you ask them to move them

Employee was very rude. Don't try to buy cigarettes if your not from here. They won't sell them to you. The store is very messy with things all over the floor. Worst DG I ever been in.
