Even though it's usually a very busy place the Assistant Managers makes you feel at home and welcome. Everyone is very helpful and they all work very hard to keep lots of stock.

I AM WORSE THAN DISAPPOINTED - BUT NOT SURPRISED AT ALL - THAT THE DOLLAR GENERAL ON SMITH RD- TRENTON, GA HAS LOST ONE OF THE BEST MANAGERS ( HAS BEEN THERE FOR YEARS) BECAUSE, AS A CORPORATION- THEY OPT TO GIVE THEIR MANAGERS - FOR EXAMPLE- EXACTLY FOR THIS STORE - I KNOW FOR A FACT - 88 HOURS TO WORK "ALL" THE EMPLOYEES FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK- SO, WHEN YOU PUT THIS INTO ACTION- IN REAL - IF YOU HAVE 1 OTHER FULL TIME EMPLOYEE - (40 HOURS) - BESIDES , YOURSELF AS THE MANAGER- IF IN A PERFECT LIFE - BUT NOT AT ANY AND I MEAN ANY DOLLAR GENERAL- (ACTUALLY WORKED 40 HOURS ) BUT, IN ORDER TO KEEP ANY DOLLAR GENERAL FROM LOOKING LIKE A TORNADO 🌪 HASNT COME THROUGH IT EVERY SINGLE DAY, AND BOXES STACKED TO THE CEILING ON EVERY AISLE- MANAGERS WORK LIKE 60- 70 HOURS A WEEK ( SALARY OF COURSE- BASED ON 40 HOURS) BUT THAT LEAVES 8 WHOLE HOURS FOR A PART TIME PERSON YOU WILL HARDLY NEVER FIND- FROM A CORPORATION THAT IS ON EVERY SINGLE CORNER IN THE USA - #WOW #WOW- HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH IT THESE DAYS AND TIMES???

I like this particular DG on hwy 72 in Alabama..they are always nice.The one's in Trenton Georgia tho..they are jerks. To me anyway.

service is never nice here if you enter the store after 9pm you barely get your things bagged for you! Guess they should just lock up at 9pm not stay open till 10pm cause they sure dont want repeat customers after 9! RUDE DOESNT DESCRIBE THIS!

This is the WORST Dollar General EVER! The store is an absolute mess. There are stock carts in pretty much every aisle making nearly impossible to maneuver your cart through. You are certain to bump into cards and displays. If you're in a wheelchair or injured in any way this store is NOT a good choice for you, you are very likely to get hurt worse. The clutter is a lawsuit waiting to happen and has to be a fire hazard. The cashiers, which are usually friendly, do allow the line to get backed up halfway to the back of the store or longer and will never open then other register. Then other workers are usually standing in the break room (which is right by the registers) eating, talking, not stocking since the carts are just rolled out and left in the aisles, and watching one cashier try to handle ALL customers by their self, and will never help unless forced which then causes them to huffy. On side note, if you go here and are in a wheelchair please be careful because the whole parking lot is downhill, and don't forget the cluttered aisles you have to maneuver around. Well at a reasonable price you can get just about anything you need and other things that you didn't know that they had at very fair prices. Close to home so why not. The added coolers that's new changed around a already good variety of foods and you can get almost any small taste done in one place. Phone refills on a wide variety of cell networks load debit cards etc.

A couple of years ago, this would have been a one-star store, but it has improved quite a bit. Wish it would have gotten a full remodel instead of just squeezing in an extra aisle - employees are a lot friendlier than ones in the past, but they still need to have more employees available when the line gets backed up - which happens quite often.

If I could leave NO STARS. I would !!! They closed 20 minutes early and I knocked on the door because the woman was standing at the cash register and she said they were closed so I pointed out the time and she just shrugged her shoulders !! Absolutely LAZY employees!

The worst store ever!!!! The main lanes in the store are always crowded with totes of new stock. Products are everywhere in the store. The check out is like walking thru hell. Sometimes it's a twenty minute wait at the check out. This store needs better management from the District manager to the store manager.

Typical, clean, merrily disorganized Dollar General.It even has some edibles, but it is definitely not a Dollar General Market. If you are looking for general store type items, they probably have what you want.

Technology the refills and many other services.. the amout and very good quality of the products cleaning supplies other things that i cannot be really reseaved as search ideas. For as ) long as i have made Dollar General my choice to imediaredd get most IMPORTANT thing s i need almost continually ech and ever time. Thanks DOLLAR GEN

They have totally rearranged their entire store to the point its like as scavenger hunt your having to hollar at everybody what you're looking for so you can find it. And it's every store.

I have had several issues from being charged twice for one item to getting home only to find items I paid for wasn't in my bags, and I understand mistakes are made I have several years of experience in retail, but it's hard to solve these problems when no one EVER answers the phone at the Higdon store or the Trenton store.

I imagine alot of folks are going there. Food cleaning supplies. The things that you have to have to keep everything in order. This one not sure about others has quite a bit of clothes and a series. Food and you name it.

This place is so unorganized,the coupons they sent in the mail wouldn't work,my digital coupons didn't take off what it was to suppose to,and not just myself people was walking out leaving our carts,false advertising,but I will be talking to someone higher up,I know it's not the employees fault😡,I didn't even want to give it one star
