This is a great bike shop! I brought in an old run down and neglected 1970s era steel frame road bike for a complete mechanical overhaul. The lead mechanic was so excellent at communicating options and costs for fixing the issues with this project bike. The repair shop was very busy and they still managed to complete the extensive work on my bike in a very timely manner. The quality of the mechanical work is outstanding. Extra bonus: They have the world's cutest Shop Dog.

Prices begin at $90 for a basic tune up. Couldn't you buy a brand new bike for that? It might not be the best bike. I don't know... It's been awhile since I've had a bike tuned but I think I'll just look on YouTube. I just can't get myself to pay that much for them to make a few adjustments.

Bicycle Cove is absolutely phenomenal. I have been to this store 6-7 times including before and after buying my first real road bike from them. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to spend plenty of time with you to share their knowledge and experiences. Michelle walked me through everything and has been just awesome from day one. She even knew me by name from the first time I visited (before I had even bought anything from the store). I recommend Bicycle Cove to anyone looking to buy a bike, helmet, gear, parts and accessories, etc., whether they're a veteran rider or a complete newbie like me. Having a store like this is great for our community and a true asset to the city of Huntsville.

Hauled the bike out of the garage so I can ride with my six year old son. Brakes didn't work and the back tire wasn't on correctly. Took it to this bike shop to have it looked at. They fixed it very quickly and at a great price! They are very courteous and professional. Highly recommended these guys if you have any issues with your bicycle.

Stop searching for shops and take your bike into Bike Cove. Everything’s going to have 5 stars on google but this is the only shop I’ve been to that truly knows bikes. Also, the customer service is superb.Tom set me up with some race wheels on my TT bike. He spent a significant amount of time helping me nail down the right wheels for my goals, not just what was in stock at the shop or best sellers. Tom knows everything there is to know about wheels, hubs, tires etc.When wheels arrived, I brought my bike in to have them put on. It should have been a quick one hour install, but it turned into a four hour project to fix all of the shoddy work that other shops did to my bike. Tom stayed well past closing to get this turned around since I drove a couple hours. I left with a fixed front derailleur, properly sized chain, correctly aligned disc brakes, and a fixed headset. Oh and some pretty awesome wheels obviously.I’m not exaggerating when saying my bike performs better now than when I bought it new over 5,000 miles ago. All thanks to the deep knowledge and extra efforts to fix the little things that make a big difference.

Our family has always had a positive experience. Staff is very knowledgeable and always friendly. They consistently go out of their way to make it right. And, they have put on great little seminars for the local youth on bike maintenance for both the NICA team youth, as well as the Boy Scouts that I have seen first hand. Great to have them in our neighborhood!

They are amazing! Ordered bikes in Oct of 2020, thought they would be in by July of 2021. Due to all the covid issues, it kept getting pushed back farther but they updated us every step of the way. When the model we ordered was no longer available, they gave us the option to cancel or continue with the 2022 model which was a bit more expensive. We decided to keep the order, they called us when it was assembled and ready to go. Fourteen months later, we are so excited to have them home. They are such a nice group with which to work.

Hate to have to write a one star review, but I can’t give any more stars after the experience I had today. Came to this location with my girlfriend’s 11yo to get her sized for a bike for the upcoming school year and to see what options they had for her. Also, wanted just a few small accessories (bottle cages, seatpost bag, etc.) for myself. As we walked in, there was an older gentleman, seemingly working on displays - kinda looking busy - and a lady behind the counter handing a receipt to a customer who I then helped out the door - guy had a baby in one arm and was wheeling a bike out. Saw maybe four employees working between them and the service personnel. After looking over every item in the store, we make our way to the front counter where the aforementioned lady was doing something at the front desk computer. As we approached, a large shop dog barked, snarled, and ran toward the 11yo that was with me, a little alarming at first but maybe he was just startled seeing someone new. The dog chilled out and we went on to pet him, as well as the other smaller dog that came out from the service area. After hanging with the dogs for a few minutes I said, “okay, let’s go.” As we were walking away, we heard the voice of the older gentleman say, “have a good one,” - or something to that affect. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME ANY EMPLOYEE OF THE SHOP SAID ANYTHING TO THE TWO OF US. We had easily been there 15-20 minutes before deciding to just leave, without any help. As we’re walking toward the door he finally asks, “are you being helped?” I said “no, seems as though the dogs are the only thing that have noticed us here.” We were the only customers in the store at the time.If this local business intends to compete with it’s online competitors, I’d recommend at least saying hello to every customer that walks through the door. It’s amazing how effective it can be. Sorry for the negative review y’all, gotta call em how I see em.Edit: Been combing through the other reviews here and it seems like most folks dig the place, so I hope my experience was a rare one.

What I like and appreciate was that it didn't take long for my bike to arrive, for it was already on pre-order. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. Big shout out to the mechanic at BC-HC! He diagnosed the problem (to see if it might be a quick fix or needed to go into the que for repair), swapped out the problematic component, and sent me out the door less than 30 mins later. He just trusted me to send him my bike receipt so he could contact Trek to replace the part I left with!Impressive!

The team at Bicycle Cove did a wonderful job enlightening me of all the key points about the Trek bikes, very helpful service team getting my bike ready to go home with me, I bought a Trek e-bike Allant which I ABSOLTUELY LOVE!!!!! Their facility is super diverse, they carry bike racks, accessories, several style of bikes, everything you need to get out on your bike and hit the road! I highly recommend this bike shop!

They have been absolutely buried during quarantine, but still providing excellent service. A couple weeks ago the Hampton Cove location gave me a great deal on a previously owned, but like new, Trek that has been the perfect first bike for my son. The Madison location sold me a great Trek hybrid today that is my first new bike since college. Very thankful they are open providing us with a great activity during Covid-19 life that I know we will continue to enjoy for years to come!

Really the best place to go for all your bike needs. Chris was so nice and helpful with fitting/ fixing/ and explaining my bike to me. He broke everything down simply and made me feel so comfortable... (even with my little knowledge of riding). He took the time to help me based on my goals and current needs with no pressure or upselling. It's just very clear the people who work here really enjoy what they do. I will go here for all my future needs.

Great experience in Hampton Cove (Brownsboro) store. Just wanted to say thanks to Chris, Ruth, and Tommy for all of the hard work and extra time that was put into ordering, reordering, re-shipping, and building my P1 dream bike. Great store....great people. Best bike shop in the state. We are lucky to have this place in Huntsville!
