If u have no other place to eat around that way I guess they are ok .mashed potatoes are instant potatoes from a box and the gravy is from a cheap gravy pack. lasagna is basically spaghetti it don't have the different cheeses that make it taste like lasagna like ricotta cheese and the guy that make your plate have a bad attitude for around $10 to $15 isn't work it but food isn't nasty it's just not made with love and it's basically all instant food

Place opens up at 0900 and I arrived shortly after. I got BBQ wings, mac n cheese, corn and sweet potatoes. Every thing was cold except the corn. Folks that cook will know that this food, especially the fried chicken, is cooked the day before THEN warmed up the next day. Drink is NOT included with the meal. Servers can be stand offish at times but they also have to deal with the public 😆

Meat loaf was good, had little bell peppers in itVeggies were fine, tea was fine, price was ok.I say for a little place in Brookwood, thumbs up.Note: The plastic 'silverware' is flimsy, but that's nit-picking

To all the truck driver give this place a try.They do have truck parking, but not huge like the other truck stop.And the food is excellent!!!!Only reason I gave them a 4 is because there mask was not worn the correct way and the cashier wasn't wearing one at all.Now the Food!!!!!When you come in!!, the food was already prepared.( That's a good and bad)We ordered the chicken wings.They had 2 kind so we got both. BBQ and regular. My husband like the BBQ one, I didn't so much. It was kinda of dry for me.But the taste was really good.Then the lasagna was dang good, season very well, with a lot of cheese and a nice amount of meat.The green bean casserole and Mac and cheese taste like if you would of cooked them at home.The banana pudding was exceptional.Would we go back to this place??Yes we would. Taste like home cooking!!!Again except for the mask thing and next time we would order the wings fresh.

This is a quick serve, ready made restaurant type place. Also has a regular, cook to order menu. I liked it. Located in the same building as the Brookwood Shell gas station.

Ordered 4 bone rib plate. Got there as it was being finished. I didn't know there was bread in it. I saw them giving a guy a choice between a roll and cornbread, so I asked for a roll, which they gave me. That was nice since there was already 2 slices of white bread in the box. What wasn't nice is that I got back to work and there were only 3 bones in there. I assume a 4 bone plate costs more otherwise why offer a 3 bone plate? But I thought when I got all the meat off I'd find that fourth bone. No such luck. So I resolved never to order a rib plate there. But the mac and cheese is amazing. So I go there today around 340 345 and THE DOOR IS LOCKED. The sign says 10am-8pm. So I was surprised when I couldn't open the door. I pulled again. Nothing. I go back to my car and call. No answer. So I don't know if they'd closed early or if they're hours are only 10am-3pm. I could've found out if someone had answered the phone.

This place is amazing. Never doubt some good country cooking just because it's next to a gas station. The ribs fall off the bone and the pulled pork doesn't even need sauce, it's perfect. Though the sauce is quite good. The sides are very tasty, especially the baked beans, I would gladly keep a few of those in a can from Publix if I could, especially because it's hard to find real good baked beans at the store like this, it almost always takes good old country know-how. Always a good test, it reheats perfectly, and I can't keep the dogs away from me while it's near me

Had meatloaf, chicken dressing, mashed potatoes (both with gravy. Everything is better with gravy!) & large soda.Wife had wings, mashed potatoes ( no gravy. Her loss) cornbread & large sweet tea.Food was good. Portions were good (generous on the meatloaf!) Place was neat & clean. Men's restroom needed a little work, but we came in about 5PM so they might not have had a chance to work on it (restrooms were in the gas station part)

I was very disappointed on my last visit. Inquired if they had a chicken box. Young man at register said any piece of chicken was 1.89 each. I picked my selection 4 wings 4 leg qtrs. 27.59 was total!?!?...i went ahead and paid but this IS my last visit. Food is good but no leg qtr is worth 4.39 each. All the line workers heard him quote me 1.89 any piece.

Stopped by for lunch and had the hamburger steak. Everything is home made, and it's good comfort food. If you want fast pick from the buffet style offering. If you pick from the menu it will take a few minutes to cook. Friendly staff. Yes it is located along side of the gas station.

Decent, didn't have a menu. Got the pulled pork, it was more like shredded but was still pretty good. Would have tried the ribs but I didn't know they had them until I had already ordered.

Stopped here and had a tire repaired on my 53' trailer took care of me for cheap. So i stopped in had a meal. Chicken fries steak taters n green beans my brother got the ribs we were very happy waitress done a good job. Sweet tea was great. I would definitely stop here again.

Brookwood Cafe is a fantastic mom and pop diner. The food is good, and I must say better when it's fresh, but nonetheless good. The staff is friendly and attentive, which I would say is probably their biggest appeal. I would definitely eat their again and I plan to in the near future.

Went there today I got catfish, baked beans and green beans. The fish was cold and fried hard. I was given 1 end piece of bread and no plastic wear. I rarely have any bad experiences here but after today, it will be a while before I return. They don't give you much and the price are somewhat to high.

Excellent homecooked food. Lots of comfort foods including homemade pies and cobblers. Veggie plates are available. BBQ pulled pork available along with burgers on request. Wings are fantastic. Portions are generous and prices good. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Trucker friendly.

Jus something to fill your belly. Nothing to brag about. The BBQ sandwiches and baked beans are very good. The catfish is good one day and all tiny and dried up the next. You gotta look at it before you decide for yourself to get it or not.

First time in and was impressed by the ribs. Sides were ok but ribs were really good. Didn’t see a menu in the whole establishment. Will be going back when in town again.

Didn't know this place was here. Close to Mercedes, good choice of food, typical meat and three, but close and fast enough to MB to eat and get back. Been several times and never disappointed.

They won't pick up the phone.... Only reason I haven't posted 1 star is because I don't know what there food taste like because I've never been able to place a order!!!Terrible service so today was the last time I'll ever try to call them again out of several times I have tried!
