I went to Dollar General in Blountsville as I live in Blountsville!I went there because I was outta diapers and low on milk for my kids.I ended up forgetting my wallet at home!Told cashier I will be back in a few minutes because I don't live far away at all.She told me they would be closing in 9 minutes I said I know.I literally get there 2 minutes before closing!And I got told they were closed and was already pulling their register.They knew I was coming right back and didn't live but a few minutes away.But couldn't give me until the very least the time they closed I got there at 9:98pm.I even showed them that I had my wallet!I will not be shopping at this Dollar General again.Because they caused my kids to have to wait longer to be changed as I had to go to Walmart in Oneonta where I actually work.But was off of work today.But my hubby had the vehicle so had to wait til he got home to go shopping.Right now we are sharing a phone so I had no way of contacting him at his work.I highly would not recommend going to this Dollar General as they don't have compassion at all!

There is never any employees to find to ask about something, if you find someone to ask they are rude an have the attitude like they hate having to help. There is always carts blocking the isles of items that needs to be stocked. On a bunch of the shelves there are items that is still in bundles inside of plastic that's just laying there where an employee did not complete their job. There is always always always one cashier, so there is always a line that seems a mile long. Every time I go inside this dollar general there is always a wait in line! I've seen people just put their items down and leave.

It would be really nice if you would have the front doors of the church polish to bring back the original luster I've been coming there for years and the front door is really need to be polished but outside of that it's a very nice experience thank you God bless and have a nice day

Much cleaner since the remodel but wish they would not leave u boats on sales floor. Produce not too fresh. All employees are friendly for the most part.

Once had pee instead of soap in men's room soap dispenser. Lots of crowding and problems with keeping the aisles clear of products in boxes. Not good if your in a hurry because most of the time when you walk in the workers are outside smoking a cig or in the back. But they have a reasonable amount of stuff and good brands.

The workers are polite, friendly, helpful and making sure to keep folks safe by enforcing folks to wear their masks to prevent further spread of the virus! They always have what I'm looking for and, as always, low prices!

Starting to shape up. The store is more clean, and better organized than in past. The store manager was kind and courteous. Made for a much better store visit. Well done.

They have a good variety of products but you couldn't get to any of them the rose were packed with things that needed to be stocked or put away.

Cramped store, they usually have carts full of unloaded stock waiting to be put on the shelves, all over the aisles. Went in for simple nail polish remover, the shelf was empty and the store staff said that its in the back somewhere (one the the countless carts scattered throughout the store, blocking the way) and they don't know where to find it. I will say the store has improved some, its been way worse in the past.

Store has been remodeled recently has a better selection of merchandise than any dollar General I've been in. Don't understand why when I scan on the app it shows a different price than it scans at register.

They had it cleaned up and it looks good they still got a lot more than I need to put on the shelves other than that I like they have fruit and vegetable stand

This is a quiet little small town market. Actually I think it's the only market IN blountsville. There is a dollar general right next door but I'd rather go here. Well stocked shelves and friendly staff A+

Employees are nice. Store needS more cleaning. Restrooms are nasty. Baskets you carry are gross. Need more employees to stock and clean or store needs remodeled. PLEASE

My visit was great don't quote me on this but I believe there's a new manager blind she's very "Helpful," "considerate", And just a NICE DOWN TO EARTH KIND OF GIRL!!! 😉💯😉

Store is unorganized but not more than any other Dollar General. The clerks were helpful and polite.

Black man shoved his way in front of me forcing himself to register before I could finish my transaction causing me to leave what I paid for and I went back to get my purchase of twine that the cashier didn't have time to give me.

This store is so cluttered you can't get through the store with a buggie an they never have enough drinks that are on sell😡😡😡
