Terrible pharmacy. People don't care or don't listen to anything you tell them. I called for help and it was obvious the worker didn't care or want to help. How do you work in the medical field but don't care about peoples health and wellness??? Will be moving to the Walgreens further down the parkway. Don't make no damn sense

I would like to know what is the use of filling your prescription with a person in the pharmacy if it will not get filled? I went around 2 pm today and she said it will be done in an hour 1/2 well I checked my WALGREENS’s app at 7pm called she said “oh” sitting here had not been filled but you can come pick it up now. Excuse me? …Then of course this particular Walgreens has no type of customer service. I may be in a predominately BLACK neighborhood but as I get great customer service at other WALGREENS I demand the same type of customer service in my own neighborhood! I should not have to travel to another “NEIGHBORHOOD” to good good/decent/great customer service!I also would like to know with all these negative comments no why noone from WALGREENS CORPORATE OFFICE try to make any efforts to make any changes to the manner the pharmacy department is treating their customers?If corporate does read this I’m requesting a response.Thank you

Terrible pharmacy. Doesn't matter if you are on auto fill. They will not fill your prescription. I went Friday when it was supposed to be ready it wasn't. Went Sunday, wasn't ready. I've now been off my med three days on one that you are not supposed to go cold turkey. And this is the third month in a row that something like this has happened.

They will make a mistake & will not claim making it. They shorted my prescription by 1/2 of my pills - I have witnesses of me opening the stapled prescription bag & opening my bottle (which I would like to point out - the majority of the time when you get your prescription filled the bottle top is upside down - this time it was not) & there was only 1/2 of my pills in there. Either they miscounted & won't admit or an employee took my medication. I have been on this medication for years & never had a problem till now. They are short staffed and rush through getting prescriptions filled. Now I am stuck without my medication. Do not trust them. The Walgreens in Irondale gave my husband 80 mg. pills of morphine and he was only prescribed 20 mg. luckily I had Narcan cause he overdosed due to their mistake - we were in the middle of sueing them but unfortunately my husband passed away and the case was over. Now I don't know what I am going to do - I have M.S. and that prescription was for my fatigue.

This review is from the Walgreens store on Lomb Ave but it all applies just the same at the Roebuck/Center Point store.Walgreens is becoming the worst. I was under the impression that this issue was limited to this Walgreens on Lomb Ave but we have the same issue at a different location across town. Going to the pharmacy is a complete and utter nightmare! And it doesn't make a difference if you go inside or go through the drive thru, it takes a MINIMUM of 40 minutes to get service. 50 mins to pickup some medicine that's already package and ready to go! They have the audacity to have one person taking care of the customers in the drive thru and the customers at the counter!?! I can probably guarantee with a 90% chance of being correct that the reason Walgreens will provide for this problem is staffing. That they're unable to hire enough people to provide adequate levels of employees to service their customers. It is my belief that the reason Walgreens doesn't have enough employees to cover the store and in particular the pharmacy is not because they can't hire enough people, but because the service they currently have is just enough to satisfy enough people so Walgreens doesn't have a PR problem and keeping revenues high as possible. And if for some unforseen reason Walgreens does start having problems and complaints , the way they'll "solved" it is to hire at one of their really big, good, high traffic store(s) located in a great neighborhood (probably more wealthy). And the same fixable, avoidable issue is happening at the Walgreens on the parkway in Roebuck/Center Point. I didn't take any pictures because as far as I'm concerned, Walgreens isn't worth my camera. I will be posting this review on the Walgreens Center Point store on Google.

Pharmacy is very rude. I came up to ask a question and apparently they were “closed” she rudely yelled out that they are closed I told her I was only there to ask a question and she proceeds to get rude again. Screw it altogether. There’s plenty of other Walgreens around the city to spend money at.

I have 2 children with the flu, I came to get their prescriptions filled at this location, once they provided it to me one of them were leaking and they refused to refill them and their reason not to was “their pharmacist doesn’t make mistakes she wouldn’t have given me a bottle that is cracked” mind you when I came I was in line for about 45 minutes because it was so busy she could’ve easily made a mistake and it was glass bottle they could’ve bumped it on anything. I am very dissatisfied and I hope they do better for other customers.

This is my go-to Walgreens. I recently started using pick up and have been impressed at how well they handle their pick up orders. I did have an issue with my latest transaction but Marsha got it straightened out quickly and professionally!

I called Walgreens today to ask if they had the 16 pack of ensure for my father in stock at this location on the parkway E...The woman answered the phone and told me ..Hell I don't know I'm in the front and then hung up the phone.. I am so tired of these rude unprofessional individuals who are holding positions with customer service. I have patronized Walgreens for over 20 years now. We as your paying customers should not be subjected to such rude behaviors. I have contacted the corporate office located in Deer Park IL...and gave them my complaint in good faith, hoping that something will transpire in order to create a better work place and more professional environment! .. Walgreens pharmacy is horrible. The employees in the pharmacy are ghetto and don’t know what they doing. Maybe if they took those butterflies off their eyes they would be able to see peoples information correctly. One employee literally “tried” to fight me. She just don’t know she has committed prescription fraud which is a HIPPA violation. Produced no receipt for my prescription and Administered a prescription under the wrong birthdate.

Came in with my husband on july 2nd for pre scheduled covid. Pcr testing for traveling my husband and i were tested at the same time, he received his with 45 mins of testing our cruise was on the 4th i never received my results i called the system for both of us my husband's info was in the system mines was not, i had to go to the pharmacy the next day still no results ,two reps stated that they emailed me my results which was a LIE , after asking for a printout and still calling to get results through the phone which did not even have me in the system i received a printout without the correct date and time or physician Name. Ended up getting tested elsewhere got results with 30 mins was still able to go on. My cruise however i did finally get results the day my cruise ended. People will be so personable and you have no clue who they are

Technicians and Pharmacist rude and wait times ridiculous!!I was on hold for over 30 minutes. Call transferred to a staff person, then rang about 20 times and dropped.If I could rate a zero, I would. They are OFTEN OUT of the meds I need but the CVS next door is even worse than Walgreen's.

Same as anywhere in Roebuck, poor customer service. Went to Fedx counter , waited for assistance. Young lady went back behind the counter. I was about to ask a question, she left as if I wasn't there.Finally I was told that they couldn't help me.

Wait times are HORRIBLE! The only reason that I used this pharmacy is because it WAS 24 hours....now the hours of operation seem to change every week!!!!!!!!! I had a sick child and I was in the line for over a HOUR because they forgot the other part of my childs prescription! I will have to go somewhere else it is ALWAYS A long wait at this pharmacy and it does not matter what time or day you go!!!!!!! AND THE STAFF COULD CARE LESS not to mention they love picking up the phone then putting you BACK on HOLD!!!!! I dont see how they are still in business

Walgreens pharmacy is terrible, horrible, and unknowledgeable. I went in to fill a new script with a coupon one person told me okay everything went through but another person told me no. I went to another pharmacy and they accepted without problem.Instead of them trying to help they just wouldn't because they feel they own Walgreens.

How you have two pharmacist and six technicians. Yet you still have to wait in Drive - Thru for almost 45 mins...” at a stand still” just too wait the same amount of time inside! This is just to drop the prescription off. Let’s not talk about the nasty attitude from the pharmacist and staff as well! If weaver Hawkins over this store. I’m very disappointed how servicing customers” No matter the situation “ has changed. This STORE is truly GHETTO . Absolutely NO SENSE of URGENCY.

I was very unstisfied with the pharmacy. Most of the employees was on the phone or talking about there personal life. Had to wait 2 hours to get a prescription. On the other hand the pharmacist really was a hard worker. I will always shop and support Walgreens just not at this location anymore.

Getting worse as time goes by. Each month I have to pick up my prescriptions, the wait is longer and longer. Today's wait was an hour. I took my other prescription to another Walgreens location (who is more understaffed than this one) and I was through the line and on my way in 15 minutes max. I will no longer be using this pharmacy.

I work in a physicians office. We have many patients who use this pharmacy. I often recommend for my patients to change to a different pharmacy. The staff is very unhelpful and often rude both to our staff and mutual patients. 0/10

This is strictly on the pharmacy. I have been to the drive thru 3 times and I have been in the store 3 time and it doesn't matter if you're first or last in line YOU WILL WAIT FOR A LONG, LONG TIME!!I has nothing to do with being short staffed as there are ALWAYS 7 plus employees just in the pharmacy and anywhere from 2 to 5 young ladies standing around checking their phones both in store and the drive thru, messing with their braids, whispering to each other while all the customers just stand and wait. Then 1 or 2 of the young ladies will "hem haw" in and out of the pharmacy to literally, do NOTHING! THIS IS THE SLOWEST AND WORSE RUN PHARMACY IN TOWN!!!!But then again I'm sure this is a waste of time too, management is to scared or just as sorry as the employees, hence why NOTHING ever changes for the better!

I’m not a frequent shopper at this location but the few times I’ve been the employees have been friendly and helpful. Today the manager and assistant manager went above and beyond to help me get a FedEx package I had held there. They recognized a potential scam and did some great detective work tracking me down and letting me know. I truly appreciate their integrity and character.

I have had both good and bad experiences at this location. Sometimes they are super slow, but at other times I am in and out fairly quickly. It really depends on the time of day/night that you get there and who is behind the counter.If you go during lunch hour or 5 pm rush hour, then expect a long wait. However, if you go later at night, especially after 9 pm, then it is normally pretty fast. I have had two different night techs instantly fill prescriptions that I just handed them, and they had me out the door in under 5 minutes.

If you have any respiratory illnesses I would advise against going in this store. I went here to pick up breathing meds for my nebulizer and the second I walked in the door was immediately hit with the overwhelming smell of cinnamon (which I'm highly allergic to). It immediately sent me into an asthma attack and I ended up passing out trying to wait for my medications which I had to leave without when my husband had to rush me to the ER. A pharmacy should never have such overpowering fragrances such as this when so many of their customers have breathing issues and come there for their medicines.

Can I do a 0.10 of 1 star. Oh my goodness. I had the worst experience april 15-17th of this year. Yes this ordeal lasted 3 days. I get all my meds there. I was out of my high blood pressure meds. My daughter goes to pick it up. When I get ready to go to bed, I look in the walgreens bag and it is not my blood pressure meds. I am signed up with auto refill but they never call to say it is ready. I call and staff says I can pick up next day. So that's one night without meds. I go to pick up next day and its still not the right meds. I call and the pharmacist on duty says I dont have a refill on it. Why didnt they let me know that earlier in the day so I could have contacted my doctor. The pharmacist on duty april 16th at 8:49 p.m. the foreign dark hair unfriendly one tells me we "you just dont have a refill and there is nothing we can do about it". So I say there is nothing you can do about it twice and she says no. So now there is 2 days I am without my meds. She did not offer to at least let me have a one pill until the next day. Next morning my hands and feet swollen, Sick, blood pressure up. I had to go to employee health at work, all because YOUR PHARMACIST IS RUDE AND HAS NO COMPASSION. I call walgreens that morning and my favorite pharmacy that moved from day shift to night answers. I say where have you been. I thought you had left. He apologizes for all my inconveniences and gives me a pill to take. I went to work contacted my doctor to send refill. I had a refill on file. The pharmacist did not even try to look. She caused me all this anxiety for nothing. I could have had my meds all the while because she was to sorry to look at my profile. I go to walgreens when I get off work to file a complaint. The nice manager asks me what was my concern. She says mrs. Flanagan you have been coming here a long time let me look at your profile. I could tell by the look on her face that I INDEED HAD REFILLS ON MY MEDS!!!! She said I did and filled my meds. This is ridiculous. If you dont want to work go fishing somewhere. You have people lives in your hands. Thank God for keeping me and I did not end up going to the hospital . I was sick and having chest pains!!!! All because this pharmacist did not want to do her job properly.So now walgreens, what are you going to do about it.

The pharmacy has the Worst customer service EVER!!!! It’s not everyone that works pharmacy. Only a couple. I understand they are busy and If you aren’t a friendly person ,can’t handle being busy,or you don’t like working with the public. You probably shouldn’t work the pharmacy or with the public!!

The little short Chinese girl and another girl was extremely rude. She got my mother's insurance card number wrong. Lied about it while I was on the phone with the insurance company and they could see everything she was doing. Then wouldn't fill the prescription, cash only. Costing my mother a fortune. Then the girl hurried off for her lunch break laughing about our difficulties. Very unprofessional for a pharmacist technician

Walgreens has always been my pharmacy no matter where I've lived. Always had great experiences and employees going out of their way to fix problems and notice mistakes.Everyone in this Walgreens store area is super friendly and helpful. As far as the pharmacy goes though, only Tanesha and one pharmacist have been helpful and friendly. My experience with everyone else has been pretty mediocre and often downright rude. I need to find a new Walgreens to get prescriptions from, it's a shame because this one is so convenient to my home.I will say, I notice each time I'm here that a lot of customers are also rude and blame the pharmacy for things they need to take up with their doctor. I was a pharmacy tech for a few years and the onslaught of people wanting pain pills and not wanting to pay high copays is rough. But I hate for the calm and collected to get lumped in with all the loons and not get fair treatment. I work in retail, that's just how it is sometimes. It isn't a job for everyone. I'd say we all have bad days but the 3 visits I've made to the pharmacy in 8 months have all been pretty terrible overall, doesn't seem like an occasional thing.I'd give this pharmacy 1 star or less if it wasn't for Tanesha though. They are very slow & The manager has a very bad attitude, I was returning some makeup & she had a problem with me returning it when clearly makeup is returnable!!!!!!! I've never had any problems at any other Walgreens like this one! She made a problem out of nothing, just do your freaking job!!!!

Honestly, The workers seem ok. I got a feeling that they don't really want to be there. The store was in ok shape. I believe it could have been better since they really didn't have anyone in the store. I believe that they have an huge opportunity to make the store looking very neat and clean if they use their time wisely. I really hope this review help them in any way possible.
