They always do an excellent job with my Bernadoodle! He’s terrible to even brush so I have no idea how they have him perfectly groomed, but they do an excellent t job!Making an appointment for grooming has always been a breeze.

We've used Pawms - Avondale to board our dog (Bo) multiple times now. Everyone I've talked to who works there has always been very kind and professional. It is obvious that they care about the animals who stay there. When Bo had to take daily heartworm treatment medication, they listened and made sure they had all the instructions written down. They are also very fast and efficient during drop-off/pick-up.Bo always seems excited to go there and he is always happy/healthy when we pick him up. It's so reassuring to have a reliable place to take care of your pet when going out of town. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

LOVE this place! They always take such great care of my dog and I don’t feel worried or anxious leaving her here for boarding/daycare. She always comes home wiped out from having so much fun, and not to mention always smells so good and looks so clean after having a bath here. Would highly recommend!

Very disappointed. I will start by saying the staff was very nice and courteous. However, my dog’s hair is awful. I am not very picky when it comes to his grooms. Initially, when I saw him I thought “okay it’s short but it’s just hair”. However, he has clipper burn all in his inguinal area. He also isn’t very even and has weird patches on his body. This shouldn’t have been called a groom. It was a shave down. He doesn’t smell as if he was even bathed. I’m just very let down by the whole experience.

Have used the pawns pet resort since December 2017 for our four cats and I have never been displeased. Couple times to board and also to freshen up. The staff are definitely pet lovers and it shows.Always accommodating to our last minute plans. Location is perfect for living downtown as well as when we lived on Highland Ave

Absolutely love this place for my dog! The staff is incredibly sweet and takes such great care of our fur child. They recognize her immediately and are so excited to have her for daycare or being boarded...which does this mama's heart a lot of good when we drop her off! Jeff and his team do such a great job and put our mind at peace when we are out of town. Not to mention, there is a vet right next door so if an emergency arises, she can be treated immediately. We won't take our dog anywhere else...Thank you PAWMS!!! :)

My dog loves it. They have the most reasonable prices for daycare and boarding in town, and the staff is impeccable. My dog has liquid caffeine running through her veins and the staff obviously goes to great effort to make sure she has play mates that match her enthusiasm. I'm pretty protective of my dog, and I trust the staff wholeheartedly.

The Pawms gets 5 stars in every aspect! The personalized service they provide for you and your doggie gives you peace of mind throughout the day that your fur child is being treated like a part of the family. Jeff has done an amazing job of building a team that is devoted to their clients. Brooke, Andy and Cody consistently go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. And I can’t forget my summertime life saver Terry, the best groomer in town for any and all types of dogs. I would HIGHLY recommend The Pawms to any pet owner looking to socialize your dog in the best of the best doggy day care!

Love Pawms because they love our dogs. They recognize them when they come in and often post pics of daycare time. We've boarded our pups for trips at other places and our dogs have dreaded going (shaking, whining, ducked tail). But they prance into Pawms with happy faces and wagging tails every time. Added bonus: vet next door is great and our dogs get their checkup while they board.

They knew my Little Bit after the first time she stayed. Every single person no matter what time bring here or pick her up knows her name. Everyone is always so polite even when they are slammed with dogs coming in and out and people trying to pay for services. Love that her vet can be right next door so she can get her checkups and gonstraight to daycare. She seems happy to go too.

Fantastic staff, they love on your pet like it's one of theirs. It's a 🐕 and 🐈 daycare or long term. Plus it is next door to Avondale Animal Hospital. The vet there is great and I am so thankful for him, so much so that when he moved to that location, so did I.He is one of those vets that you can tell loves every animal brought to him

I boarded my dog Dior for a week for training and begin day daycare once a week. After I picked her up from being boarded I was informed that there was a case of kennel cough going around. Days later my Dior got sick and I would suggest if you know your dog is sick attend to them and leave them at home.Other than that, all the workers especially Marli (her training is awesome) are very nice and they treat the animals like their own.

My dog Daisy was put on a new medicine and while she was at Pawms had a seizure, I was out of town and had no way to get home, when I got the call from them I was panicked. The staff went above and beyond to help Daisy and once I had arranged for her to be taken to a 24/7 veterinary clinic the staff personally took her and her belongings there. I was terrified but the Pawms kept in contact with me all day, had my dog been somewhere else she might not be here. Thank you so so much Pawms Avondale!

Staff is super friendly and my dog is always over the moon to go to doggie daycare. This location is super busy and can’t often take walk-ins but no biggie as we always book our days ahead. If you can’t get in at the Avondale location, call the Birmingham branch.

I love The Pawms! My doggo Grapico is one I found on the street, and I never thought she would be able to play with other dogs, but she's done great there! They're always so sweet and accommodating, and I like the fact that it's attached to a vet's office, should any emergency arise.

They always go above the call of duty to accommodate my pups and very intuitive if anything seems out of the norm. I've tried and tried to have pet sitters go to my house only to have one disaster after another. I can relax and enjoy my time away knowing my pups are safe, playing with other pups and being cared for.
