Just wasted 20 minutes waiting for someone to even acknowledge me. Two teens working today that don’t look up from the counter. The store was wiped out on multiple samples in both regular and peel and sticks. Not sure who’s running this place but it obvious they are wheels off and haven’t set any basic standards for addressing customers and having what is needed to begin or complete a job. Store is very dirty. Cluttered. All this just adds to the bad service here. Avoid this location at all costs as it is just a waste of time.

Poor customer service at store. No stir sticks. Also I was not told the captivate paint was a low end paint at a high price. I bought a satin finish. It is horrible. It is blotchy. I was trying to use it on my interior doors leading outside. It is an absolute nightmare.I used to always to use Sherwin Williams paint personally and for clients. I just called the store. I was told they could not do anything.I will have to find a sales representative. Funny the day I was in the Trussville store a builders wife I know was there, which did not have an account but was given a major discount by the store clerk for her personal home. Something seems amiss.

I told the associate that I needed a gallon of good interior paint with a color that matched a chip of paint I brought in. He mixed the paint, the color was good, and then he told me that the gallon would be about $80. I was shocked. But it was too late to get a cheaper gallon. I didn't enjoy the experience!

Best Sherwin-Williams store around. Just moved to Trussville and had alot of painting to do inside and out. Jeremy was a lifesaver on all my paint needs. Especially with the shortage of getting paint. He found a way to get the color I needed with same quality or even better.

1. No help in store. One person at the register . No one to ask questions2. Store was trashy . Paint sample color cards were all over table and on the floor.3. Paint sample color cards were empty .

The two gentlemen that I worked with were very kind and understanding. They matched two paint samples perfectly when another change store could not even come close with the samples I brought in. For the future I will use this establishment for all my projects.

Horrible experience. Was told to use one SnapDry paint (water base) to cover a previously painted crib that had a water based paint on it. The snapdry was very challenging to apply it dries fast so kudos for that but the finish was awful. Very streaky and looked awful. Took the paint back to the store after only using a very small amount and the salesmanager wouldn’t exchange my can or give me a refund since I bought it at a different SW store than this one. Even after he said were all corporately owned he wouldn’t exchange it. So I but the bullet and said “Fine, I’ll eat the cost. what alternate paint would you recommend?” He suggested all enamel which was an oil based and said it should be fine to apply to what’s already on there. Well fast forward to the end of the project and it looks awful the oil won’t adhere to a water based paint like he said it would. Project looks awful and now I’m out $ and about 8 hours of my time. This store was not very helpful at all.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service. We walked in and their were two staff members who walked out, looked at us and didn’t even acknowledge us. We needed deck stain and had to practically force them to help and then they were out of what we needed. He went to back to look and took forever. We just left. Going to another store that hopefully cares about customer service.

For a contractor, it's a very useful place. As a home owner, not that useful. Paint is more expensive than others and,in my opinion, is not that good of paint. They are very knowledgeable but usually a wait until you talk to someone.

"Ask Sherwin-williams" is more than just a slogan, they are always friendly and happy to provide any advice you need with product and color selection. I always choose Sherwin-williams because their staff are like the geeksquad of paint. The paint is great quality, but its the people behind it that really allow me to put full confidence in my purchase. Side note, don't be cheap. The Emerald paint series is the way to go for most projects. It is absolutely worth the investment.
