Closed and parking lot no longer available. There's no warning until you're in the turn lane and see the barriers. Forced to continue straight and hard to get back on highway in a semi truck. Google maps should mark this as closed. I don't think it's opening any time soon since it looks like they're tearing a lot down.

I like to stop at Truck Stops while traveling alone. But I will never stop at this one again. I am not one to normally leave bad reviews but this place was not only sketchy from the time I pulled up. But two of the four bathroom stalls were TAPED up. Along with no paper towels and only one soap dispenser working. I would have left but I was meeting a family member.Pilot you should be ashamed. This place is ruining your reputation. You can do better.

Zero stars... very unprofessional staff. Food quality limited and old and dry.. store is disgustingly dirty. Staff makes fun and jokes about the customers as they leave in front of the other customers, not to mention they don't sell tobacco products.. the only friendly/ professional person there was the young lady at the cinnabon.. very unhappy with this facility.. I would never again stop there..

This place is closed. GPS and google shows that it’s open but it is in fact closed. Doors and windows are boarded up. Pumps are bagged. Parking lot is still open for parking but the area doesn’t look like the safest area.

The worst Pilot I have ever been to. It's soo unhygienic.. The place is never cleaned. You should sack the manager. He doesn't know what he is doing with this kind of a place and filth. Its a disgrace to all pilots.. Despite the fact that later on I found them unclogging the sewage which can happen anywhere, I was there early in the morning and could not use the toilet. It was soo dirty, tissue paper with blood on the floor, that toilet bowl has not been washed or scrubbed for a minute. U can tell. Very filthy. It's a disaster waiting to happen. They should not even sell food there with that kind of bathrooms in use.

Ok place for truckers to sleep, only a few parking spots and some are tight. Shower are great though, they have wendy's, deisel price is good and staff is willing to help.

In my travels I stop at the Bankhead highway Piolet often. I have spent a large amount of money at this particular store. A few days ago I stopped in as usual for coffee and a snack as I was headed out of Birmingham. I needed to check a few urgent emails before I started back on the road, so I had been sitting in my vehicle for around 15 or 20 minutes. I had just opened my door to step out of my vehicle to go in and get coffee. The security guard approached me at my vehicle and asked if I was going in, I told him yes I am. He then told me I needed to hurry up and get what I wanted and leave. I told him I come here often and spend a lot of money here, but I will just go somewhere else from now on. I am very disappointed in the way this employee made me feel. I'm sure somewhere else will be happy to take my money. I will not go back to this store

One word. DISGUSTING. This whole place looks like atomic bomb went off inside and outside. Things are falling apart…. Restrooms are disgusting, human waste sitting in the toilets for days, no one comes to clean up. No one is restocking soap or paper towels. Ceilings are dripping with some kind of water. (Women’s bathroom). 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ There are sketchy characters walking around the parking lot. They should close down places like this, it’s not sanitary and definitely not safe to be around here. We’ll definitely never come back over here ever again.

If you are a truck driver wanting to just pull in clean the windows and get fuel.... don't bother. Had to try 3 different pumps to find one that worked. Went to wash my windows while fueling like Most of us do. Only 2 buckets for the whole island. Pumps were nasty, parking lot was nasty. Place is a joke.

I didn't use the restroom or the shower, but the staff at the store and wendys were nice and wendys was good. There are needy people around, but they were nice too no knocks so far, but I think I'll turn my truck off just to help avoid it. Bright lights on the truck parking, so if they steal at night at least there is light shone on it. The lot could definitely use a clean up, but truck stop lots don't get dirty by themselves maybe drivers should do better to pick up after themselves if its such a problem for you. If you know how to behave in a metro or urban environment you should have no issues.

This is a terrible store. I found out it's a dealer owned, so it's not run by Pilot. Walked into the store, nothing but rap music cursing vulgar language. You think I was walking into a club. Bathrooms was disgusting. I wouldn't take a shower here. I saw the person that was cleaning the showers, and all she had was a rag and a bucket, and she was in there and out of there in 2 minutes. I don't think that's very sanitary. Just an overall bad experience, and I've put this on my map bypassing this location for future stops

It’s always pretty clean here. They aren’t stocked like a standard Pilot w all the Knick knacks and all, but it’s clean. They don’t carry a whole lot of snacks, and the last few times o went the refrigerator wasn’t working. (Drinks were warm). Also, the debit machine tends to go out often and they don’t have windshield squeegees. Weird complaint, but I stop there sometimes omw to work and those are the issues I have noticed.

Oh my God. I've only been parked here a half an hour and someone is already pounding on my door asking for money. There is a young security guard inside. I guess he's too busy talking to the pretty girls that work here. I have been to this Pilot Travel Center for fuel several times in the last couple of months. The staff have always been friendly polite and helpful. Too bad this seems to be a rough part of town. Worse that people are hurting bad enough to pound on tired truck drivers doors for a few dollars. I am always conflicted has to if their stories are true or not. I hear of panhandlers making six figures a year.

Three of the four urinals don't work. No paper towels. Junkies blood all over the doors and walls of the men's room stalls. Lot lizards and homeless people knocking on your truck doors. Showers are filthy. This Pilot is the most disgusting truck stop I've ever been to.If I could rate it negative stars I'd give it -1000. Just gross and nasty all the way.

This pilot is absolutely disgusting! Inside, outside, showers, and driver lounge! We sat to eat in driver lounge as we finished up we bought showers and sat back down for a additional 2-4 mins for our trainer to explain something and a worker rudely came in driver lounge and asked us did we have showers. We said yes and he said “well they been ready, I’m bout to kick y’all out”. Just completely uncalled for smh. I could understand if it was a line for showers or we was sitting for 10+ mins but that was not the case. GO TO A DIFFERENT PILOT IF YOU CAN!

I just purchased 20.00 of unleaded and my vehicle started sputtering. I should have known when their pumps had wires hanging out and couldn't take cards it was a poor decision. Do not get fuel here for your car. They are only worried about the truck stop out back from what I saw. Will be taking it to the shop to have the tank pumped out tomorrow.

I don't like to criticize but sometimes you gotta warn others. Went by there to get a heavy weigh and after unloading a light weight. The clerk must have been stoned , he couldn't understand what I wanted. Messed up my weight ticket and my receipt. Totally confused both times I came in . Don't know if he is a regular employee but he didn't have a clue what he was doing. Finally just left with what I could get. Definitely don't want to go there again.

DO NOT STOP HERE! It looks like they finally shut it down, doors and windows boarded up. I stopped to check straps, was approached by 3 guys asking for money, one tried to open my truck door. Stay packing, stay safe out on the road.

It was kinda late and a delivery truck was setting up at the front entrance of the store preparing to unload stock.But, nobody from Pilot was available. No cashier. No food attendant at the eatery.I found Nobody, period.It left me feeling weird and definitely unsafe. I know it's a truck stop, still you'd expect working employees ready and available to assist customers no matter the time, day or night, as long as the business is open......And, They were most definitely OPEN!

As of 07-28-23 this is one of the worst pilot travel centers I've been too. Bathrooms are dirty and broken, store isnt stocked, store is playing explicit music from a portable speaker, and the fuel island is nasty and in serious disrepair.

I wouldn't of gave one star!!!! I been on empty for almost 20 miles I came and pulled in and I freaked out!!! Complete freaking dump dite with trash everywhere dirty and creepy!!! Now it's 1am and nowhere open close for fuel, more or less I'll make it without running out of fuel!! Thanks for the heads up

0 starsThis property should be condemned. Water all over women's bathroom floor, homeless man living / relieving himself against the building, seen him there every week. Employees lock the back door that leads to truck fueling.Pumps 18 & 22? only allow you to pump like 7 gallons per transaction before they cut off, apparently because "it's too cold out and the pumps are old" 35 degrees and 55 degrees.Pump 17 doesn't have a working screen.I could go on...
