The manager, Ciro Lopez, is actually insane and on a power trip. He printed a picture of me and my friend and taped it to the store's front door accusing us of stealing. I was sent the photo by another friend, and when I went to go clarify what happened Ciro continuously spoke over me, yelled at me, and was just overall condescending. He was yelling to the point that everyone at the cash registers, staff and customers, were looking at us and I was in my Children's hospital scrubs and badge because I was about to go in for my shift. The day before a cashier doubled scanned my singular box of croissants. He called for customer service to help him remove one of the scans, but after 5 minutes no one came. I was ready to go and simply offered to just get a second box so he could check me out already and I could pay and leave. Todd, the cashier, happily agreed and printed my receipt. There was another staff member who was bagging my items who witnessed this. My friend and I grabbed my bags and headed back to the bakery section to get the second box of croissants. As we made our way from the registers back towards the bakery, the bag boy complimented my friends outfit (just to emphasize that he watched this interaction about getting the second box and then watched us walk back into the store). When I tried to recount this to Ciro, he wasn't having it demanding, "Leave now! You can never shop in this store again!" and he called for the officer on duty to reinforce his commands. We eventually clarified with the cashier, Todd, that my story is exactly what happened, but Ciro continued belittling me saying, "Well that has to go through me. That should have been handled through customer service." And I rebuffed, "Why would I know that? If your employee tells me to do x, y, z and that it's okay, why would I do anything different??" Yet he stood firm that I was in the wrong even though I didn't steal and was following the instructions of HIS employee. He kept trying to say, "Well it looked sneaky. You guys were in and out so fast so that's why I thought blah, blah, blah." We walked around at least 20 mins, and like I said stood at check out for at least 5 minutes, where he actually stood as well but a few registers behind Todd. He never admitted he was wrong or apologized, and I still had a crowd of people watching me as I left the store fuming and even kids in the parking lot were looking at me. This was the most disgusting customer service I've ever experienced, and it's something I never would have expected to ever go through.

I love to come to this store..Very friendly staff!!😉💯Got to mention the BBQ.. It's simply awesome!!!!! Love it!!Here is one bit of advice.Whenever a customer comes to shop in a store, he is looking at the character of the employee. If it's not friendly, the customer will not want to go to that cash register at all..👀👍😉So, always be friendly to all people..The store managers are very nice!! Very friendly... That is very good...The store is very good!!I like to shop there a lot. Love it!!!😉

The isles were all stocked this time and the many times I had come before now. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly and has usually (from the staff I've encountered), attempted to go above and beyond to assist me with any needs that I may have at the time. They seem to have very active and surprisingly visible managers quite often, which I can appreciate.

Even after losing a superstar, Julian, this Pig location rocks on, every day, providing all the amazing Wickle Pickles, coffees and cookies.Even the cashiers seem lighter, happier with their new cuts and curls.I can't say a single bad thing about this Pig location....Oh yes. All folks are worthy of respect.... Including homeless customers!!!

Many options for a "local" feeling market. Slightly higher prices on average and slightly fewer options on things than your bigger and more widely available stores. But the staff are nice and helpful. There is a self checkout area. Incredible wine and craft beer selection with staff to help navigate through. Good selection of local produce as well.I will never forgive you for expanding into Los amigos spot forcing them out of a location they had for 20 years. Hence the 4 instead of 5 stars.

Amazing variety, especially for pantry items. It's the only grocery I've found in recent years that carries pretty much all the ingredients I need to prepare my go-to dishes, ingredients such as stewed tomatillos in a can and whole wheat macaroni pasta. It's also a fun place for people-watching. Lots of well-dressed patrons with sartorial style!

My oldest son and I trotted over Wednesday for a salad and hot, delicious fried catfish !!!!The best!!!Ms Felicia and her deli team are great!!!!Good customer service, good food!!!Daily breakfast and lunch!!!Wednesday and Friday try that hot delicious fried catfish!!!!!See ya soon!!!!!

Decent store, prices are not the best BUT...their beer and wine buyer knows HER stuff. Some excellent wine options you wouldn't expect. I was stunned. AND...Michael treated us so well at the beer bar where you can by local brews ON TAP to go and try. He was a true asset to the store.

Been shopping at the Piggly Wiggly on Clairmont for 15 years now. It continues to get better. They carry locally grown produce in addition to the regular produce. They have a good beer and wine selection and the staff are always friendly. Love that they carry Owls Hollow lettuces along with other local favorites. They are in the process of significantly expanding their footprint.

This is the best grocery store in Bham.....Maybe Alabama.Pigs are like a box of chocolates! You never know WHAT it's like!!!Bham has Pigs all over, and the Liberty Park one has as much in common with the Forestdale one as a Hog and a Hershey bar do.....This one leans towards the Liberty Park version but it's bigger. LOTS of vino and craft beer, plenty of nice meat and produce. It had a recent MAJOR upgrade, It still has a lot of Asian and Latin specialties along with simple budget level stuff. Eclectic clientele, nice staff. There is a shortage of prepared foods- it just isn't what they do. There's a conventional Meat and 3 deli and some sandwiches. Nothing like a Publix or Greenwise location but...guess what? You don't need a co-signer at the checkout either...The store is very clean, well stocked and has friendly employees. Parking is usually no problem. I guess the 20th Street Publix is its natural competition, and the Pig is a clear winner on price, parking, selection, and ease.If the Homewood store gets this treatment, Publix may as well shut down the too-precious Greenwise experiment.See you at the Pig!

Extremely pricey on certain items. I was happy to find some fresh Okra. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed, though. I paid almost $5.00 for a very small amount (Maybe 2 servings) Okra wasn't fresh and the seeds were black inside. I threw in the garbage.

My family shops here a lot. The staff is always super friendly and helpful if I'm having trouble finding something. Selection is good, produce and meats are excellent quality. Manager is always visible and engaged.

The staff is all very nice but their groceries are way overpriced. I go there because I get gift cards there. That's the only reason why I shop there because to me they are just too expensive. But I am not from that area so maybe it is just the area and how much things are. But I have found that Piggly wiggly's in general tend to be way overpriced with their groceries.

This is my second job but a Winn Dixie back then in high school I got out of school early at 1pm c.s.t. all my credits satisfied and my teammate of flag team worked there briefly also.I started first working at baskin robbins in 5pts west by my house growing up owned by a jewish family. He was a stickler on getting those scoops exactly 2.5 ounces for real! For hours I had to scoop and weigh scoop and weigh always saying how many scoops he should get out of 1 tub. If I can't do nothing else I can certainly make a 2.5 SCOOP OF ICE CREAM BLINDFOLDED I think. Lord! Would somebody rescue him shipwrecked at this counter. But he was so nice and I would go visit him at the new location off lakeshore drive when there were several movie theaters all replaced with other business.Turns out after high school at college in Auburn university Alabama I got a job at that baskin robbins and was the cake maker and decorator for customers. So funny had to make them from ice cream slabs cut from tub standing in a cooler at age 19 but then at age 43 in 2013 my job as laboratory technician duties was to put water samples for testing inside a walk-in cooler just as cold. Not the morgue I pushed patients working for the UAB hospital as patient escort or anything but felt close to dying when it ended except I was sitting on my sofa. Life keeps rolling on different all the time. I still love God. My made from scratch 2 chocolate cakes for grandmother and her other grandchild lamina born on the same day as she was and a tub of homemade vanilla ice cream on another day both got gobbled up. My mixer stopped while on the telephone with a friend so I had to finish mixing batter by hand. I do not want to go that far back in old school cooking if I help myself to some electrical magic. I do not need all those muscles right now. She will be 95 years old in just a few minutes and minminadue will be older too. I was born on her mother's birthday with the years 1907&1970 also and my mother shares a birthday with her older brother's daughter paula. She thinks the internet and microwaves are the devil but happy birthday Dear! I call her.

Love the staff and convenience. They will even supply items I request. They have 3 or more rows of any wine you can imagine and they have a large selection of gluten-free items. I walk there once or twice a week.

This Piggly Wiggly is very pleasurable to shop at. I like it much better than the one close to my house in Montgomery. The manager and staff working there are wonderful. I highly recommend it.03 December 2022Another thing I want to mention about this particular store, the show you the real price of everything. No wondering how much it is when you add 10%. I very much appreciate that. They also have high quality draft beers which is a benefit.

My family loves the pig. We don't shop here all that often simply because the prices are higher than some of the bigger competitors. We love the awesome variety they have. I really don't know how they fit so many different foods and brands in a relatively small grocery store. The staff are friendly and helpful, the store is clean and well stocked and overall it's a great experience to shop at the pig.

I make groceries here somewhat often. The produce section always has really fresh offerings. I also enjoy the deli section. It's smaller grocery store. It has some of the best wine and beer offerings in the area - far more than Publix and other nearby places.

I like the prices of this store but the staff isn't always friendly and inviting. They watch you like you are coming in to steal something.
