Overcharged for grooming. Asked me to sign releases up front when I dropped off my dog. Turned out they were not released but extra services that added significant costs to the simple grooming service I requested.

I brought my dog for a $60 grooming appointment which I scheduled online, when I check out it is $90. How is that possible?Oh! It turns out they asked me to sign papers when I dropped my dog off that added $30 of services and didn’t tell me that was what they were asking me to sign. Total scam!

I've been taking my dog to this location for grooming for quite some time, & have had little issues until today. For context, my dog is a Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix, meaning he has a double coat. Today, I dropped him off like normal, asking for the same cut he usually gets; I've always kept him fluffy.I pick him up to find that the cut is extremely choppy, almost like it was done by a child. Worse, though, is that they shaved him. A double-coated dog that was not matted and didn't have fleas. They shaved a double-coated dog right before winter. Without the owner's permission.I'll be finding a new groomer. Be wary.

Barbie has been taking care of my dearest fur baby Sara since she was a pup. She has cushion disease and is overweight because of that. She also gets very nervous without me. But she does very well with Barbie. I trust her with my precious little cubby girl. And that's saying a lot.

Barbi at Petco is OUTSTANDING!!!!! She is knowledgeable, loves the animals she grooms, and is helpful to me as the owner. She personally talks with me after each visit and fills me in on anything, good or bad, that is going on with my rescue dog. I LOVE Barbi….she is BY FAR, the best groomer that I have ever used. She makes my little 'elderly cocker spaniel' look beautiful!!! She deserves whatever recognition that Petco awards to their exemplary employees.

My dog was given a poodle cut and she’s a labradoodle. I even gave specific instructions and pictures for references. I then picked her up and came home to see her whole stomach was cut up by the groomer. 2 days later and now she has fleas. She has had a flea collar on until the day she got groomed. You would think if the groomer saw fleas she would say something about it. She definitely got them at petco while being groomed. Never going there again.

My pets are always well taken care of. I have 2 senior dogs. One has several skin tags and her nails can only be buffed. The staff has notes on my dogs and always asks questions before they start.
