I was very pleased with the customer service. Alicia contacted me after i was finished using the storage, to assure me my account was closed, and was very kind. Only issue i had with them was when i signed my agreement, it was for $18.00 a month, and the last month i was billed $47.00. Not sure what that was all about.

I've been using life storage for 2 years now. Since I haven't been able to take time off to drive from Tampa Florida to Birmingham to grab my things. But recently life storage changed ownership, who doesn't use eft charging. Which the previous ownership did. That's when I was oh so pleasantly introduced to the site manager, the amazing Sheila. My sarcasm isn't being thrown around as an intro to a rant comlaining about how I've feel I've been oh so disrespected and treated as if I'm not a paying customer. Quite the contrary. This is fun. My choice words of the amazing Sheila and her trusty sidekick the Zac-man. Is bc she's just that amazing. She contacted me to bring to my attention that my behind 2 months on payments and was going to be placed in foreclosure. She really helped me and worked with me to give me time within the month to get my affairs in order. Her level of customer service was amazing. She was always polite and in good spirits during every interaction with me pertaining to me account. I'm really thankful for her going the extra mile to make sure everything was expedited properly. The staff at this location is top notch, amazing let me tell it. So if you're planning on storing your belongings anywhere in the area. Choose this location. You'll get amazing customer service, 1960 professionalism (bc they go the extra mile and treat you like you matter) and with women like Sheila, an awesome manager. Get word means something. When she says she'll contact you or do something. She does it and comes off like she cares and wants to genuinely help you. Thanks again guys, Sheila and Zac ur amazing. I know, overused right lol. Very thankful for your great customer service.

Outstanding Customer Service and Care from Sheila, who’s been there for years and has always gone the extra mile. I will always remember and appreciate how she watched out for my husband when he was moving from the largest unit to one half the size, in the heat. She would check on him frequently and make sure he came into the office to drink water and cool off. It’s the personal touches which are so rare today!

Recent tenant to the facility. The on-site manager (Shela) was extremely helpful and I was able to secure two large adjacent storage units, as well as a outside spot for my 24 foot Toy-haul Trailer. The price was the best I found, and the place was spotless! As I’m very particular about my stuff, and having any kind of insect infestation, or mice would send me packing, so much so that I’m trusting ‘invaluable art’ in the unit (until we find housing in the Birmingham area. The units have lighting, which is a big help, and the location is extremely secure with an automated gate! The property is maintained spotlessly!! (I found out the hard way), as Shela found my two cigarette butts outside of my units) and made sure (I knew), she knew they were mine! Lol

We've been renting storage units at the Life storage in Birmingham 35242 on Walt drive for two-and-a-half years . we've gotten to know Sheila (who runs the place ) ..... She is a wonderful woman, she's almost like a sister she cares so much! I absolutely love her, she always goes above and beyond.... we've been very happy with the location and especially with her... Highly recommended, and this is coming from someone that doesn't normally leave reviews, Sheila really stands out and so does the location.

I have been renting multiple spaces from your corporation for over 10 years now and if it wasn’t for her encouragement and kindness, I would have taken my business elsewhere a long time ago because your faculty is old, needs upgrades and the rent prices are all over the map. Shelia has always shown up and stayed to help, even when things were a little frustrating. Her fighting spirit and never-say-die attitude are very infectious(maybe you should take note).
