I don’t ever shop here unless I need one or two items..so that way I’m in and out. Today I can’t believe that I see cashiers arguing and shouting out at a customer in regards to him purchasing alcohol at self check out (which another cashier approved after viewing his ID to make sure he was of age.) The cashiers then shouted at the security guard to get up and get the manager…the manager came out and agreed that the customer was indeed okay to buy the alcohol and that the cashiers shouting were incorrect. This whole fiasco took place in front of a whole entire store. Not acceptable. Profanity being yelled, calling the manager “Michelle” a liar (she was not present) and arguing between employees. It’s really disgraceful. This store needs a complete revitalization. And a clean sweep from the highest position on down! I was embarrassed for the older generation who had to sit there and listen to the nonsense. Everyone who worked on this day on the front end needs to be held accountable for their actions.

This is the worst store around you don't go in there to do grocery shopping it's a place that you would need to run in and get milk or eggs or bread they're very proud of their meats in there so outrageously High but then again everything in there is high even their store brand products is higher than any place I've been in they only ever have one register open and most times you're standing in that line 15-20 minutes if not longer the store has a funny smell to it the one good thing is the employees are all nice and friendly

Trash! Never any cashier's because they don't wanna pay them nothing really. So they never have workers to run the front. Old 70/60 music from back n the day played over head. Food is not good and outdated. I say shut this store down! Put a Piggly Wiggly or something there. Update the store and hire some more cashier's so that your customers don't have to wait forever for service!

The only grocery store in Tarrant, and they know it. A couple of the cashiers are nice. The management is cold and generally act like you’re lucky to have them serve you. They do the hiring thing where you’ll be part time, but must be available full time. As a result, don’t be shocked if the cashier for your line rage-quits mid-shift.

Very large variety of food but the prices are not my taste, the meat is worth going for that's my favorite part of this store and they have decent deals at times you have to catch a sales paper or their in-store deals

Great place for Chicken prices. The only grocery store in the general area, City of Tarrant, Alabama a sleepy township just outside Inglenook north-east of Birmingham. It's convenient, friendly staff, clean, well stocked value products.

My favorite most convenient and budget friendly grocery store. The only problem is they still haven't gotten any more my fave Bluebell flavor; coffee. They've been out for over 3 weeks!!😖

I give this store 0 stars the manager Kathy is very rude and disrespectful and how I was treated upon working there very briefly was very distasteful....i was hired through a company to work for them and they where aware before the start of my shift that they did not won’t the company hiring for them anymore and didn’t let me be aware of it until the shift was completely over literally 15 min before time for. Me to go , my mother advised me to call and ask them why they didn’t tell me in the begin of the shift Kathy advises me she didn’t have to tell me anything and was advised by her manager only to say something if was asked , they were understaffed and used me because they hand no one else the whole conversation with her was very poor and disrespectful to me

This is a much needed food outlet. It carries a nice selection but not many specialty items. The store is clean and personal friendly. The prices are also reasonable. There are enough check out lines open that you don't wait long. Overall a good shopping experience.

It's close and convenient. The cashiers are usually friendly. They don't have the best prices, but they aren't the most expensive either. Good for a quick trip/not a lot of items.

It's ok...but the prices about the same as walmart.. Think they may take advantage of the foodstamp card for the area's locations.. After the full drive from the area am I..didnt see nothing more for your money.but the food outlet in southern part of tricounty south..much more saving and better on meats... Not to good for this area..the ones down in Elmore and montgomery is better out let's..so here your best would be the walmart...

At times this place is a hidden Gem. They have great prices on their meats, potato chips, & Soda. However, they lack name brands on many of the products. Also, the lines tend to be long because they usually don't have enough cashiers.

They are okay if you are either pressed for time, or REALLY don't want to stop anywhere else. I myself am not fond of cost plus stores(and this being one of them), but; I honestly wanted a turkey spam sandwich for dinner, and didn't want to drop by Walmart, nor any other markets after 6p.m., as they tend to have a longer wait in the check out lines. Nonetheless, it was one of those I didn't feel like going elsewhere, and it didn't throw me too far off course from going home. Either way, the problem I have with cost plus establishment's, is they claim to have lower prices than other locations, but instead of the normal 10percent tax you'd pay at grocers, you are paying 20 percent: with that being said, you have to desperate in my opinion to patronize at a place that will charge 20 percent instead 10.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH I SUGGEST YOU SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE THEIR FOOD IS NO GOOD I PROMISE YOU. TERRIBLE STORE JUST READ THE BAD REVIEWS. TRUST ME WHERE THERE’S SMOKE THERE’S FIRE. Extremely overpriced prices they charge are not their actual cost plus ten percent they take advantage of people on food stamps and limited transportation they are the only grocery store in the city . so sad 😭

This is one of my favorite stores because it's always in and out because I know where everything is located and the set up never changes. Great meat selection and awesome sales.

I went there to purchase eggs. This outlet sales in bulk. Some items are pricey so if you plan to shop there take your calculator . Some items can be found at Walmart for less even when you purchase in bulk. The staff are not friendly or helpful and the produce department is the pits and high priced.

I stand in line 90% of the times I come in this store!!! They have really good prices though and there meats are always fresh. Most of the cashier's are friendly.

Food Outlet has good prices for some things but for other things they're overpriced. Overall not satisfied or dissatisfied there could be small improvements but that is for most stores not just Food Outlet keep doing what you doing two thumbs up.

Not my favorite place to shop but it's a shorter drive from my house than to Publix. Some items are definitely a bargain, while other items are overpriced. The meat department is ok if you're on a budget and can't afford better quality (no judgement, ijs)
