This store is always clean. All the sales associates are always nice and helpful. They speak when I come in. I would like to see the entrance and parking lot cleaned more often. For the most part. I really enjoy going to this location!

First and last time going to this store. I came this morning and the sorry cashier or whoever was opening did not open on time. She kicked me out the store at 9 am saying they weren’t open and wasn’t gonna open til she was done. Me and a couple other customers waited for bout 30 min and it never opened. I will definitely be calling corporate! Cause this is ridiculous! Stop coming to work if you don’t want to work!!!

This is the nastiest unkempt store. They are low on everything.If you look nice coming into this store you may get your behind whipped!!!This is the most ghetto place in the world..and the manager who appears to be on some powerful and trust to tell me not to come in her store because I didn't speak back.She took my merchandise and refused to ring it up..lol!!Like I said becareful cause she looks like she steals,bites,and Definitely rode the short bus to school..and stayed in One class allll Day!They hiring anybody!!!!Not your average shopping experience.But I had time tuhday!!!

The experience was good. The customer service was excellent. The clerk above and beyond to help us. She was fantastic. She was godsend during this time of the pandemic and being on the front line. This was at the Family dollar on 1st Avenue across from Regions Bank in Birmingham Alabama.

Never shop here!! Bad attitudes poor customer services the manager is very rude and she uses her authority the treat people badly the police was called to this store because of the manager and the fact that the police was called she didn’t care in fact she stuck her tongue out. This manager ALWAYS has an attitude and is very rude I have witness many encounters with the manager and customers she always talks to people badly. Im never shopping at another family dollar. They customer services is awful..

The store manager is AWESOME she works her butt of everyday. She is very knowledgeable on where everything goes and also very helpful. I was in and out. They always know how to push sales!! BY FAR MY FAVORITE FAMILY DOLLAR❗️❗️

I will go out of the way to avoid this place. Employees listen to music out loud while customers in store, curse out loud and hild personal conversations. Happens often price on shelf shows different than when it's rung up. How do a store not be able to take a 20.00 bill and say she has no change. I would leave zero stars if it was an option

Beware, cashiers will steal your money. Granddaughter went in on yesterday. The item cost $1.10, she gave the cashier $20.25, only got $9.15 back. I'd given her the money to pay for the item. Gave manager my name & number, didn't called. I know her register was over by $10.

I frequently visit this location. I'm not sure of the managers name or if she's even a manager. Lol she has great customer service and she's always busy doing something. She stay on top of things!

I go here to purchase minutes for my Assurance wireless phone.. Every Family Dollar sale these minutes except the one on Old Springville Rd. I think they are supposed to be able to but they haven't figured out how to do it yet. I've even bought these refill minutes in Georgia from the Family Dollar there. I've been told by others that this location is in a rough neighborhood. The one on Springville Rd is ok but I'm force to travel to this because where else can I go to get the refill card. I gave only 3 stars because the store is disorganized with merchandise in boxed in the aisles. And the cashier are not all that friendly.

I went in the store to buy something and I asked the employee where was the resses and she said this not the candy this Christmas and the candy on shelves so I said all this trash in the floor I hope nobody fall because yall will be in trouble so she said get out my store I said put me out she told another employee to give me my phone and I said call the police she said I am not going to call the police I am fin to call my daddy so I went outside and call the police myself and that's when they told me to do come back I will never go back in that store again I have called the store asking for a general manager and they refused to give me the number to the main office

The store is cleaned, stocked and full of customers. The only issue in the store is overcrowding. The aisles in the store needmore space to turn items around in the midst of the store. What a shopping experience!!!

Parking lot full. But store is closed and locked up at 11:40 a.m. on a Monday. Something doesn’t seem right with this location at all. Very unprofessional.

Floors are dirty. Stock is always low or in boxes waiting to be out. Price charged is not the advertised price. Sales people are never helpful.

The junkiest and most unkept retail store in all of Birmingham; boxes are always strolled all over the place, they stock shelves in the middle of the day during business hours leaving stuff in the middle of the isle in the way; many of the employees are rude and disrespectful and need to be trained on how to address customers(as sad as that is); and the overall aesthetics of the store is chaotic, and depressing; if you have an option, go somewhere else
