I shop here, 3 to 5 times a week, so i know this place and it's people.The store has upgraded and has much more vegetables and frozen foods and focuses less on clothing (thankfully).Problems with this store are mostly on the "outside": There's a pot-hole (at the corner of the entrance, on the right) as you are coming in that's been there for YEARS and needs fixing. The company has let 3 of the 4 external lights die out.This new manager they have now. Tall fellow, nice, and he ALWAYS takes care of me and unlike other managers, i see him running the registers (to help take on the load at the check-out stand) and THAT tells me this man cares.This is a good store (and i've been in ALL of them in the surrounding areas) compared to most. I've seen a lot of "whiner" feedback, slamming this store, but these are coming from people who seem to complain about a lot of everything.The store has fruits, vegetables, spirits, cigarettes, a large selection of frozen foods (compared to other stores), canned goods, pet food/toys, an "As Seen on TV" section, some clothing, toys, a good selection of snacks and candies, household goods/plastics, hygiene supplies, movies, vitamins/supplements, and more than i've mentioned.It takes this store a little while to get a "good" staff. Once they settle in, you get them for about almost a year then someone new gets hired.Given a fair chance (and an logically honest point of view) you will see it's a good store. Every store has their lines, their frustrated employees, and their occasional outburst (from customers)...and this staff generally handles it pretty well considering the locals.I like this store and, if the things i suggested, were fixed then the place would be all the better. Oh, and the store has nice/clean bathrooms and (when the mother company fixes the problems with them) they're open and available.

I went into Family Dollar on Carson Rd to by Hot Dogs Buns. I walked into the store and there was only five loaves of bread no Hot Dog or Hamburger Buns. I quickly called my husband and said from now on I'm shopping at Dollar General. I walked in to the newly renovated grocery area where you can buy grapes and bell peppers. This store has all you need for a quick meal and it's perfect for all mothers of small children. My Husband loves shopping here and together we will be back. 😍😍😁😁. Thank you Dollar General and thanks to the staff I greatly appreciate your hard and dedicated work especially during times like these.

I have stopped here several times and always found the personnel to be nice and helpful. Got what I needed and usually cheaper than anywhere else. I buy snacks here, they have brand names.

The guy with dreadlocks who works the register is the friendliest employee they have! If he isn’t a management he definitely should be! He is fast, efficient, and shows interest in his position. If he is ever having a bad day, you wouldn’t know because he is always upbeats and you can tell he does not bring his personal life to work. Really can’t say this about the other employees at this location. Give this guy a raise/promotion! He is this location’s only star employee.

I would give them five stars considering I like most of their people and they keep their store very clean and the selection is good. But the current manager seems to be lazy and won't help out at the register and I just cannot abide by that

The best kept Dollar General I've visited. And, I've shopped at a lot of them.They even have a mini produce section and a large selection of frozen meals ( great for when a rush for "what's for lunch or supper")!👍👍👍👍👍

They gave me a counterfeit $10 bill for my change and once I noticed it I turned around and walked back to the counter and they refused to exchange it. I'm a single mother struggling to make ends meet. And they completely ripped me off and refused to make it right. I didn't check the bill while at the counter bc my hands were full and I was by myself. Or I would have. I dont know what to do about this. They can check the cameras I never even put cash in my pocket.

Staff is not very knowledgeable about items, no bathroom (except for staff or friends of staff). Manager frequently rude (seems to need help with managerial duties). Employees seem "afraid" or intimidated by manager. Maybe he is unhappy with his job. ???Hope he doesn't become even more rude with me after reading these remarks.

This location was pretty decent way better than highway 75 location. I’m new the this area and this location will definitely be where i do a lot of my shopping. Better selection & store way neater & organized.

I was amazed by the cashier that they have there she is always there wether its mornings or afternoons but always smiling and positive attitude she is soo helpful and speaks both spanish and english ive seen her work and she can do it all Great Job DG you hired a good one shes a keeper Thank you Mrs. Kandii for all that you do!!!

Went in for two rechargeable AAA batteries....not one of any size in the store....you can tell it's not the door general I was a key holder at ....my stores were NEVER full if rolltainers or u-boats nor did my cashier's tell you that you would JUST HAVE TO FIND YOUR PRODUCT ....they were busy....but they were just WALKING AROUND THE STORE TALKING TO A FRIEND

Awful costumer service ,manager said no bathroom didnt even look at me . We spend thousands of dollars at a store that dont even have a bathroom guys. We got to do better about where we spend our money. New walmart with an off brand name.!!!!!!!!!!😒😒😒😒😒😒

They have completely revamped the store!! They now have produce!! Potatoes, onions, celery, you name it, they got it as far as I could see! The store looked great and the employees were very nice

It's a small Walmart, may take a few minutes to check out but beats the heck out of Walmart and more than half time the price is cheaper!!! Love my DG!!! (Not near the traffic inside as above referenced 😁😁)

It was great, it was a surprise to see fresh produce in there, they had whatever you needed, liked it very much
