I love this place. I hate this place. When we're in the area, we always stop. Always dig out some great deals. Tends to be one of the better organized dirt cheaps. Tonight was probably my worst experience there. Same items were under 40 & 50% off sections. Online scanner wouldn't work. Took item to front for price check, but then when we checked out it was higher than price check. Manager, I assumed, claims prices are what they ring up regardless of signage. For example. Signs all over store said "all toys 80%." Apparently, there were unlisted exclusions cause they weren't. Always make them tell you price of each item as you go since there's no returns. It's great if you have time & patience.

Visited for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. I’ll admit that maybe I’m missing a key element of the concept, but I don’t understand how folks effectively shop here or how the company makes a profit. Huge store. Maybe 1-2 dozen shoppers while I was there. I went up & down at least half the rows. Only 1 area I would describe as reasonably neat & organized. Most aisles ranged from messy to complete disaster areas. Best I could tell, the pricing system was a combination of a “market price” sticker on the item + a nearby sign indicating how much of a discount to apply. The problem: many areas were so chaotic that I couldn’t determine how much to discount the sticker price. Apparently I wasn’t the only one — I overheard a father say to his child upon seeing the sticker price on a toy, “That’s not Dirt Cheap, that’s Dirt Expensive!”

Yes the prices are cheap but you have to literally be willing to shop in an absolute mess. The only thing that has some organization is the clothing. Honestly I would rather pay more money to have my shopping experienced organized. I guess if you like spending hours treasure hunting this is for you. By no means will you find what you need quickly here. Every shelf looks like those pictured.

I loved it besides besides the fact that most of the stuff there has no particular place, so basically you have to dig through everything that you don't want to be able to get things that you do consider to buy. Other than that... They have a great concept.

Me and my buddy were down here for work and saw the sign "Dirt Cheap" and thought that's gotta be a pretty cool spot so let's check it out..but let me tell you..nothing in this store is "Dirt Cheap". The prices are convoluted and we were over charged for what was a clearly marked price. The store was in shambles, almost all items were broken or out of the packaging. We came across an area that was completely marked off with caution tape just because there was a broken item on the ground that could have easily been swept up. Very disorganized and not a pleasant shopping experience. Will not be visiting this store again, it was a major disappointment. Employees were friendly and that's the only nice thing I have to say about this establishment. It should honestly be shut down, I don't think anyone should have to endure the dissatisfaction of shopping here. 10/10 will never shop here again.

You have to just visit this place worth the trip and you won’t go home empty handed. Plenty of yard sale stuff all new. Dirt cheap! No haggle pricing, shoes clothes, and household items better than Dollar General and Wallymart.

I want to start off with I love dirt cheap. My family knows the two main places I go to is Dirt cheap and Walmart. I hate I have to write this review but it need to be told. So I been coming to dirt cheap for years and atleast once a week. I finally convinced my mom to go to dirt cheap with me for the first time and this is how we got treated. So when everyone was in line the female manerger (Cindy) yelled at everyone and told them to back up. Everyone was looking in disbelief on how she was yelling at everyone. Secondly it was our turn to buy our items. The male manager (tom) which is always jolly and nice was not having a good day I guess. Because he tried to charge me $84.99 for a baby float with 40% off. (As you can see in the picture) the blue one. I start laughing because he's always joking with me. But then I realized he was serious. I told him there's no way you are trying to charge me $84 dollars for a baby float. So I said something to (Sidney ) about the price and she said she can't override because he is a manager too. So I told him it only cost $20.00 for the other same item in pink. If a item don't have a price on it they will try to over charge you for the item. That's why I always look up the price before hand.

Totally rude cashier..nothing is cheap they sell used items at Macy department store.retail price. I can't believe this place is even in business. Pretty sure this place is just like a big scam. Somebodies money laundering scam. this place is an absolute joke.ABASOLUTE JOKE!!!

This Dirt Cheap could be an awesome store and the first time I went about a year ago I liked it, but ever since it has been a downhill slide. Prices are really messed up (See example below- retail $3.00, dirt cheap price $30.00?! The whole stack was like this and many other items’ prices were similarly marked up) and many tags won’t scan using the Dirt Cheap app. They have tons of messy, poorly displayed and poorly organized products. I expect to have to look around at stores like this, but a lot of the store seems like they didn’t even try to be organized. I have also seen several employees, even a manger, being rude to guests. If you want to go to Dirt Cheap I would recommend you go to the location in Forestdale. It is worth the drive for a better organized store with kinder employees.

This store is a mess!!!!! All Dirt Cheap are not like this one. No hooks in dressing rooms. Men's, women's, children and babies clothes are all mixed together. Making all the pricing incorrect. I did have a wonderful cashier. Terrible!!! I'll drive an hour to Anniston Alabama!!! That store is fabulous!

They do have TONS of stuff. Don't go unless you have time to dig. No real system or organization to the store. I did like the dress section. I saw a bunch of stuff my daughter (18) would wear at excellent prices.

I had an awful experience being looked down on for shopping while I was having a nervous breakdown trying to check out and get my card to work. I have a mental and physical candy cap and one manager in particular with the boss man behind him wants to act like they don't want to help their customers. We purchased over $600 and were supposed to get a piece of furniture or 2.

Dirt Cheap has at least 75% more name brands than Walmart but it’s a treasure hunt because only the clothes, furniture and shoes are organized. So you have rows of good stuff not organized.The prices are good.. I just don’t like sorting through rows of stuff even if it’s really good stuff.

The store could be a little intimidating at first but once you start looking you really find goods things at a good price. They have a large variety of items. I do recommend that you download the Dirt Cheap app...it is so much easier to shop with the app. Also, use good judgment because some things are overpriced even when marked down. Dirt Cheap is a place to shop with intention lol. #shopsmartsavemoney

Most of the staff is rude & unwilling to help or do anything but gossip. Had the pleasure of checking out with one of the managers. Horrible customer service, rude to point of being down right mean. I'd rather pay full retail than deal with being treated.......

They advertise using the app to help find prices during shopping. I had a nice selection of items that I had priced using the app and when I got to checkout the cashier rang things up at a much higher price and when I showed her the price on the app she would not honor it. It has become a frustrating experience to shop with them. It used to be such fun!

Many things overpriced, many boxes open and missing parts. You need to do to the bottom of the boxes to find what you want and that's priced reasonably.

Used to love this place for deals to put in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Their pricing system has always been confusing, but their deal finder scanner used to be useful in getting correct prices. It does not work anymore. The price is not supposed to be what is on the tag unless there is signage stating priced as marked. You can't get an accurate price in here now until you reach the register. So, if I load up my buggy and get to the register and it's too high, then they look at you like you're wasting their time. No, you are wasting mine. Prices should not be a mystery. If you want to sell a product, put a correct price on it.

Have yet to visit a dirt cheap that was actually dirt cheap. Not really sure how this place is still in business. Found a carseat that was marked up so much, then 40 percent off and still more expensive than if I ordered the same exact one on Amazon. Crazy.

I been coming to dirt cheap for years. I usually can find decent prices but lately the prices are jacked up. With 50% off still extremely absorbent. I use the app to find the price. Yesterday the cashier Lee and manager would not honor what was ringing up. That male manager is no good. Cashier Lee very rude!

I go here from time to time to find odds and ends at super cheap prices! If you don't like looking through scattered shelves and bins then this may not be the place for you, but if you're willing to look and spend some time then you never know what you may find! I've gotten lots of great things here, new, unboxed, salvaged, etc. Also good that they have a table for testing your products before you buy, since there's no return policy. I will continue to go here for fun!

Why didn’t I know about this place years ago?? Loved the store, didn’t mind the mess, made it more interesting! Almost like a scavenger hunt! But a couple of the employees had the WORST ATTITUDE EVER! God forbid you need to ask a question about the price of an item! You’d think I was asking for their first born!

The store was a mess. The initial walkin had some organization to it. But as you made your way to the back the more unorganized the store became.
