I saw a product online and decided to screenshot it and go to the store and see if the three in which it said were available were actually available. It was! Hooray for me. I give them a thumbs up.

We came here to do some Christmas shopping. They had a variety of sales throughout the store. The checkout experience was frustrating. They did not have enough staff to provide a smooth checkout process. We understand it was because of Covid. The worst part was a lady in line was trying to return some items and she wasn’t really sure what she wanted. This caused our checkout time to be about 30 minutes in line.

Awesome staff! It was so busy at this location, and even though it was, each staff member we went to was VERY helpful and took their time assisted our team with the best sale with great quality... especially Hayden, he's was more than happy to assist.

I had a pleasant experience. The young lady at the Fragrence counter was very helpful. I also enjoyed shopping in the Childrens Department as well I will be shopping here more often.

Came in today 12/18/2023 around 10:30am and brought my cousin and her friend we were looking at fragrances and I guess the Mont Blanc representative didn’t know that I was with them and walked up to one of the ladies working in fragrances and told her that she needed to keep an eye on them to make sure they weren’t stealing and the lady at fragrances kept an eye on them the whole time. There were other people around the counters looking and smelling too and the other people were white but my cousin is mixed and her friend is black. The only reason I will ever go in Belk again is to see my old coworkers but I will not waist another penny in there and will be making sure that all of my friends and family know what happened!!!

Very nice large store. Attractive displays and great selection. Only problem is there’s not enough sales clerks. We had to chase down someone to take our money. Other customers walked out unhappy and told us they need more help here.

Yesterday, I came to the “SUMMIT BELK”spoke to a really nice lady concerning getting a ring and she stated there will be a trunk show with “Le Vian Trunk show” tomorrow you can put your name and number in the appointment book they will have other merchandise I may be looking for and I can get an extra 20% off if you set an appointment which I was happy about so I did it because they had a ring I really wanted! Well, Today (01/16/24) tried to see what time SUMMIT BELK opened since we had some bad weather(snow/ice) the night before. Well, of course no one picked up when I called around 10:00 am, 10:30am, the automated system was still stating that BELK opened up at the “regular hours” so I went to SUMMIT BELK got there at 11:30 am and they were CLOSED!!! My 1st problem is they could have updated the AUTOMATED SYSTEM to say they were opening later due to weather! 2nd when I was there employees were arriving but customers were going up to see if they were open EMPLOYEES OF BELK WERE COMING INTO THE STORE BUT DID NOT HAVE THE COURTESY TO PUT UP NOTIFICATION TO LET THE CUSTOMERS KNOW WHAT TIME THEY OPENED (LOSING MONEY 💰 BELK) !!!!Once I got home I called SUMMIT BELK and I spoke to “Dave” I tried to explain to him I had an appointment with the jewelry department and he stated it was canceled mind you as I’m trying to explain the situation he was interrupting me, very rude and nasty so I just asked for his supervisor’s name after he kept being so rude with me I had to ask him for it 3 or 4 times he had the nerve to say “what would I need to speak to her for”? Excuse me? I told him you can say yes or no you can give me her name or not which he finally gave me her name “Christina Bryant” which it may or may not be her name and unfortunately this is not the first time I had a bad experience at this particular BELK! You would think I would have heard from the supervisor by now for an escalated issue or any supervisor but I have not! This all boils down to it’s not the fact the store was closed it was just at least update your AUTOMATED PHONE SYSTEM TO MAKE CUSTOMERS AWARE OF THE UPDATED TIME OF OPENING AND BELK WEBSITE.I asked Dave was he a manager and he stated “yes”.IF THIS IS THE TYPE OF MANAGEMENT YOU MAINTAIN AT THIS STORE THANKS BUT NO THANKS I WILL SPEND MY MONEY AT A DIFFERENT STORE WHICH THEY VALUE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Just wanted to return a pair of shoes. The husband just got out of the hospital, and he's waiting on the car. Thought I could run in real quick, boom!! Returned!! Not here. Was greeted at the door by an employee doing a survey. Answered the question and then asked for the nearest register for returns. He saw the show box and stated to go to that department. 5 people in front of me. 😞 Asked an employee if there were any other registers open. She points to the one further into the store. It's still a line, and now, 15 minutes waiting. When it's my turn, I first, even though annoyed, great the employee and tell him that I just need to return the shoes. Sounding like I'm bothering him, not even giving eye contact, he stated that he couldn't take the shoes and I had to go all the way to the back of the store to return them. Waited again. This time, though, the employee was nice. I explained my disappointment with today's visit. She apologized for the misinformation and offered to speak to a manager. I had to decline, husband still in the car after now 30 minutes. Who knows how long it could have taken them! Finally shoes returned.

Well, this is my Birthday week. So I treated in myself for a Birthday 🎂🎉 get away to the Summit Location. It were very elegant, unique and pleasant. I would recommend this location and looking forward to come back again. 👍🤗

The layout of the store is not good for anyone with a mobility issue. They were short staffed (like everyone). I did loose my new phone in yhe store and management went above/beyond to help me. A good citizen turned it in🙏. So that is why 4 stars.

Brittany in the shoe department needs a promotion and a raise! I hope y’all know just how amazing that lady is! She actually walked with me the whole time and spent over an hour helping me pick out shoes, a dress and a coat for a wedding tonight. I just don’t think words can even describe how truly wonderful she is and how much I appreciate her!!!!!!

Good place to shop, shoes department isn't the best with sizes. I was trying to purchase a pair of shoes, but somehow they had trouble ringing them up on the register... so I went upstairs to clothing and bought them just fine. You might need help from more than one person to get your shopping done properly 😞

Wonderful experience cause of all the holidays sale. Drawing for gift cards was nice. Loved the alcohol service in these nice champagne glasses, delicious. I did purchase something for myself and for others.

Its nice to walk into a Men's Department and be able to walk around and shop without a single sales person , and there were 4-5 , ever trying to bother me with "Can we help you find something ". So I shopped for dress shirts , then shopped for dress shoes, the I got bored and left. I saved that $1000 my wife gave me to buy new clothes.

There's a man named Bill that works in men's wear who may very well be the rudest employee you have. He forced people to try on things before purchasing just to tell you he can't sell you what you picked out and tried on. He had an elderly man waiting on the counter to checkout, and he knew he was there, for five minutes before the man had to go up to him and asked to be helped. Upon hearing that gentleman's request he huffed and rolled his eyes. Bill does not need to be working with the public and he should be ashamed of himself for treating customers and veterans the way he does. He brings you all great shame.

Been in Belk since after 6 pm and horrible customer service in ladies shoes. Yolanda the cashier, complete sale with customer and walks away. Doesn't say a word. I go to front for assistance and she leaves for a manager. Yolanda returns and waits on another customer that just walk up and even answer a question from another customer. She walks away again and goes to another register to never return. Manager has to assist. What is going on Belk? Horrible customer service!

Love Belk you can whatever nice clothes but did not find any real deals even there calerence deals could not find anything nor my size. The sale is not a sale. Even there online you pay more taxes and delivery fees. I go here to get great stuff for a good buy.

The Sales Associate at the jewelry counter, John, was extremely helpful. He pulled out several different pieces at my request and let me try on each of them with patience and friendliness. And when I was ready to make a purchase, he was competent and timely. He told me of any options available to me that would save me money, something that I am extremely grateful for.

I was going to buy some sunglasses today. I asked the lady at the jewelry counter where I could pay. She told me 4 locations. I went to purses, the register was closed. I then went to two registers in shoes. There were several associates in shoes talking and ignoring customers. I asked for help, was told in a minute then they went back to talking. Next they started helping other customers. I waited 25 minutes. I tried one other place on make up by the front door. The sales rep left the register to help another lady. I went back to shoes and not one associate came. I finally have up. Left the sunglasses on the counter and left. I don’t know how you all sell anything? When you have associates ignoring customers. I will not be back to this location.
