This is my favorite grocery store. They don't necessarily have every item I need, but their prices are great, it's a nice place to be, and the Aldi finds are awesome

Great prices. Like the sustainability features. FAST CHECKOUT. All other stores should go there for training. I a m happy to bag my own groceries in my own bags to help the earth and speed through the line. It's also great that the cashier gets a stool. Why is this the only store where that happens???

Aldi's prices can't be beat. They have a good variety and get new products regularly. The parking lot is a bit of a wild west. People hust park along the edges, not in parking spots, so it can be tough to navigate.

It’s my only to go store when funds are really low but I’m a little confused about what time they really open, the sign says 9:00am but I saw people walking in at 8:30am these weren’t vulnerable folks even though I might be wrong but they were also parked next to me and I am not there was one in the parking lot and she was waiting until 9am like the sign says please get this sorted out thanks in advance.

This Aldi location is great for stocking the items our family uses most. Each location is different in what they consistently carry and this seems to be the magic location for us.

I’ll admit it, I’m an Aldi fan. Good quality at great places. Also, being a German company, they have a lot of German dishes and spices you wouldn’t find at other retailers. It’s always clean and they move the check out line quickly. No, you won’t see a lot of name brands. That’s not the allure of Aldi. They are clean, to the point, and organized mostly the same across the stores. If you haven’t shopped at one yet, you’re missing out on the worst kept secret!

The system has been down multiple times recently. A few days ago I was getting ready to checkout with a large purchase and was told it was cash only and all I had was a card. Yesterday I went in to a half empty store. I was told that the system had been down and they weren't able to place orders. I had to waste extra time and gas to go to homewood to save money.....

Aldi is my first stop for the basics. If you are looking for specific things, they probably won't have it. They have good options for vegan, dairy and gluten free options as well.

This is a great Aldi store! They are stocked up and when backup is needed, the Manager opened up his lane quickly without someone asking. They also have a cashier who is so friendly and fast at the checkout. I humbly appreciate the fact, she did not throw our groceries the shopping cart. She politely placed everything back in order as I had it.Fact: Cashiers and Managers has a big influence on a store.

I didn't want to rate this because the employee who checked me out was awesome and overworked. She was the only cashier the whole time I was there until the last minute. Her hands were flying and she was doing the work of three and still the lines were backed up. Why didn't someone come to relieve her sooner? And the person who came out, finally, (I think she was the manager) was going so slowly that it didn't even seem like she was there. The lines had been backed up the whole time I was there. I told her my son's girlfriend had cried all the way home three days in a row because she was so overworked at Walmart. She said she would probably do the same thing on the way home. I am going to do something next time, maybe even ask everyone behind me to wait five minutes so she can get a break. Please don't overwork these good employees. Come help them out and really push yourself as hard as they do! Rant over.

I just love Aldi's. They have great foods and have increasingly added some variety to offer more and more of the foods I like to buy. The prices are better than most stores and once you get accustomed to bagging your own groceries and bringing in your reusable bags (or buying some from them), everything goes smoothly. The store is small enough not to be overwhelming.

Ive always loved Aldi, and when I had enough time to make 2 grocery stops I would visit both Aldi and Walmart weekly. Even though I only have enough time for one stop, Aldi is still my go-to for unique meats and cheeses to host with. Also a great spot for eggs, dairy and wine! The staff at this Aldi is so kind and it’s in a very convenient spot.

Great supermarket to visit. They have a lot of different items that you would not expect in a grocery store grocery store. I bought my favorite Winter coat in an Aldi for only $25. Not for everyday shopping but great for certain items.

Employees viciously yelling at each other across the store, rolling their eyes and having terrible attitudes, everything an absolute wreck, cashiers could not have been ruder. I’ve been to Aldi plenty of times and this has by far the *worst* grocery experience I’ve had in ages. I would give 0 stars if possible. 👍

I didn't shop at this store before this year, I happen to go in one day and they had remodeled it. It is very bright inside and the veggie are better all but the potatoes after a day or two they start to spoil. Meat prices are affordable. Good place to shop.

Great prices if you do not mind off brands. They have great prices on produce, eggs , milk and wine. The checkout process is long during busy times. But you will wait even longer at Walmart and pay double the price. The cashiers are quick. They normally only have one or two. But that is part of their business model. So it is expected. Don’t forget to bring a quarter for your cart and your own shopping bags.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Great prices. Excellent quality of selection. Friendly service. Bring a quarter for the buggy and be ready to bag your own groceries. I just take them to the car and do it there. Piece of cake!

Little cashier that's in there right now was so rude! Literally would not let me pull the buggy away from her to put my things in my bags. She made it harder on me. I had to rush to load my stuff into my bags as she is ringing up the next customer and putting their items in the same buggy! Terrible customer service!!! I will be going to the Trussville location from now on.

So much easier to shop where there aren’t multiple brands of the same thing but one brand that’s good. How many kinds of 1% milk need to be stocked? One good one! That’s their strategy, no wandering up and down endless aisles. I Love ALDI! Prices are reasonable, stock is great. Specials and new things to try all the time. Just try it.

So why just 3 stars? Firstly, I have nothing against ALDI. I go there regularly for certain items. They have great prices and a reasonable selection. It's just a no-frills shopping experience. You're not going to be wowed when you go in or be excited about going back unless you know they'll have avacados for 1.69. Don't steer away from them, but don't expect an outstanding shopping experience either.
