I love going to this place because I can find so many items I need and don't need. The majority of customers are very friendly. The staff strive to assist whoever should need help. Especially with those self-checkouts. Having more selections of various foods is what I like morning than anything. The parking isn't bad.

Multiple things found that were either out of date or moldy. Some of the owls were too narrow to even get the bogey down laid out so unorganized ,staff rude and harsh to deal with only found one staff member in self checkout that was helpful nice and polite. this day and time that was totally unacceptable the way the stores being ran and managed. Everything that I witness is a management failure.

I have nothing for Walmart. There policies superseded any rights you have. All in the name of theft protection. But getting sued because you don't know the law. Sam Walton would be rolling over in his grave at the way the company is ran. Really a joke. Like a 3rd world counrty when you go there. I would rather send more money, somewhere else than there . If you have a manufacturer's coupon, Walmart is the last place to use it. I had a free product coupon with the item pictured. Their system refused it. The coupon had NOT expired. It was perfectly legitimate. Cash your coupons in elsewhere. That's my advice. Also, I went to buy milk (Mon 1-29) at 6:30 a.m. & 2 other items. There was only 2 Scan & Go open. Customers lined up behind me. Total Mismanagement..... Bessemer deserves better than this mess !!!

I normally love this place but several recent experiences with pickup services have been horrible. Just a heads up folks. They have left items off my list and still charged for them. I am elderly and can't really get around well. So when I contact them they tell me to come stand in line to get the refund difference. The pickup employees are rude and act like you are bothering them to answer the check in call. Hang up on you. Rudely. Then the people bringing the orders out to you throw then in in any fashion causing spills and leaks. My car still smells like milk and vinegar. Piled groceries onto of bread and eggs. Several times I have had to wait for over an hour for them to bring out my order. Where people are coming in and leaving in 5 mins. They are rude, have bad attitudes and don't care their jobs and it shows. I am totally dissatisfied with pickup in bessemer. The store is great. The customer service needs people who don't mind doing jobs properly. I'm am now out money. Because of damage and carelessness. From people who are acting like they're so bothered by your presence. Be ware folks pickup is awful.

I usually do Walmart pickup and the majority of the time there's something if not multiple things out of stock. Especially in the meat department.People of Walmart are interesting. When shopping in the store, I guess because people with the munchies gravitate towards the grocery department, it usually smells on at least a few aisles, like a marijuana dispensary.We do big grocery hauls to restock Essentials about once every month to two. If I do pick up, a lot of times my order is marked as picked up before the associate has even brought my items outside of the building. I will get the notification and look up and no one will be in sight.Overall the store is generally clean and decently maintained. We typically do self-checkout in the store because the lines can be long and the cashiers do not seem thrilled to be there. I cannot say I blame them, because this store stays packed, As there is not another Walmart nearby.

Friendly employee greeting upon entering. Store was messy & teenage customers showing out, throwing merchandise & almost ran me over trying to get away from someone he threw something at. This was in the Christmas holiday gift section up front. I've never experienced any rude shoppers like this before tonight....and I'm old.Upon leaving, security was driving through the parking lot & police were in SUV's at both entrances.I will not visit this location again.

This store is one of those that you never know what to expect. It's hardly ever stocked properly, and oftentimes, you can't find what you need to cook your menus for the week. So I pay a little bit more and go to Publx or Aldi( better prices on most items) to get what I need. The pharmacy staff there are outstanding! I will give them the credit they deserve!!!

Two women at the registers refused to take my Similac coupon and made it out like I was a thief to everyone around me in line, as well as calling my mother a devil. They also refused to void the Similac can off of my order saying “Oh well, you’ll have to deal with it” … They had people in the line behind and beside me laughing at me and making snide remarks about me because of something I never did and the workers laziness, and it had me crying by the time I walked out. All I wanted was my baby’s food and formula… I was so humiliated, I will NEVER be shopping at another Walmart again in my life.

Went to get my oil changed late in the afternoon, worrying that I may not be able to get it done. But the greeter who took my information was very professional and helpful with all the questions I had. He opened my car door for me to get out and was very respectful. My car was ready in 35 mins and the guys were amazing!

The customer service associates are extremely inconsiderate, nasty, and rude. On September 7, 2023 at approximately 8 AM, I went to the customer service desk to see if I could exchange a shirt that I purchased from Tuscaloosa Walmart Supercenter. The young lady that had tiny black and orange braids informed that Walmart doesn’t allow exchanges but that I can receive a refund for the shirt that I brought in and use that money towards the purchase of a new shirt. After receiving the information, I then told her to hold off on returning the shirt that I brought in until I found a new shirt. The young lady agreed to hold off refunding me for the shirt that I brought into the store with me until I came back to her with the new shirt. I then went to the active section of the store to look for my shirt, but I couldn’t find the shirt that I was looking for. I proceeded back to the customer service desk and told the young lady that I was unable to find a new shirt so I would like to keep the shirt that I brought in with me. She then told me that she already returned the shirt that came into the store with. I asked her why did she do that despite our agreement. She didn’t say anything after I asked her. Afterwards, the customer service representative took a Walmart gift card and put the money on it despite the fact that I came into the store with my ORIGINAL RECEIPT. Once she used the gift card to repurchase the original shirt, she didn’t give me my original receipt back. On the morning of September 8, 2023 at about 7 AM, I went back to the customer service desk to try to return the same shirt that I was trying to exchange the day before, but I was met with obstacles all because of the associate from the day before failed to give my ORIGINAL receipt to me, so instead of getting my money returned to my debit card or in cash, I had to receive a Walmart gift card due to the the Walmart associate not giving me my original receipt back. I didn’t want a Walmart gift card; instead, I wanted my money returned to me in cash or on my card. I had to take the short end of the stick all due to the associate on September 7, 2023 that failed to hand me my original receipt back. A customer should not not have to lose their hard earned money behind a mistake that a Walmart employee made!!!

Hold on to your personal items & keep them close. Bc if you drop something or miss place it you “may” never see it again. Bc if you lose something or if someone within the store steal your personal stuff while shopping, they don’t care. But steal something from them I bet they will be glad to assist you to the local jail. I’ll never step foot in this store again. It cost me a lot of my personal time & my hard earned money dealing with the thieve(s) here.

I've decided I'm done with Walmart. I can cruise the store, get a cart full of groceries, and it takes me less time to do that than the time I stand in line to checkout. I refuse to use self-checkout because they won't put me on payroll and then want to check my receipt upon leaving. Walmart... do you intentionally put the slowest working on the registers?? You're doing nothing but infuriating your customers. In addition, many things ring up higher than is what is marked on the shelf, and they won't restock the shelves. I'll just start going to Publix and/or ordering stuff online from other retailers. All of your stores have become a joke.

I just came here to pick up my prescription. Pharmacy staff was very prompt and friendly. Checkout line after purchases was a bit dull- don’t think she likes her job. Several police cars parked all out front. Definitely a vibe here.

When the pick up is busy they’re very rude and unprofessional. I drive for Uber Eats and was waiting for almost an hour. I was unable to get an estimated time as to when the order would be read so that I may advise my customers.

If you use the pick up option, BE SURE TO CHECK ALLLLL YOUR STUFF BEFORE YOU LEAVE!! They are very consistent with messing things up and leaving things off that the customer has paid for!!It’s so annoying!! Many people use this option for the time saving aspect. That’s my reason. They tend to cost me time in the end because I still end up having to go inside the store at some point to fix their errors.(Picture: Where’s the rest of my doggone wash cloths???)

We had bad weather for a few days,and I placed an order and my order kept getting cancelled due to lack of workers because of the weather. To make up for the inconvenience Walmart gave me $25 dollars of my next order which helped me a lot.

I don’t think anyone expects excellent service at the Bessemer Walmart, but waiting over 2 hours (so far) for Walmart Pickup is unacceptable. If they can’t handle the demand, don’t offer the service. There should be a place where you can pick up your items

Worst Walmart ever..I go in once a week and they never have chicken... And then one time I went over to the fruit section picked up a bag of oranges and it had so much mold on it that when I dropped it down a cloud of mold popped up and hit me in the face here's a picture to prove it.. constantly finding mold on the bread and everything is just rode around and unorganized.. so I could leave zero Stars instead of 1 I would do so
