This store is always busy and always understaffed. I used the Walgreen’s express online to pay in advance. “Skip the line,” it says. “Use your code at the dedicated in store express line,” it says. There is no such express line here. You still have to stand in the very slow moving line as always. There’s a dozen other customers in line. So here I am back in the drive thru line.WHERE IS THE EXPRESS LINE?

I called this Walgreens store several times in one hour and was put on hold for over 25 minutes for the pharmacy.The first call someone picked up the phone and placed it on the counter,when I said hello,someone put me on hold. I called the store back four times after back to back. On the fifth called, I ask to speak to the store manager and made a complaint,she connected me to the pharmacy again just to be put on hold again.This is the worst store and staff I have ever interacted with.Very unprofessional,slow,and unreliable.All I was trying to do was get information for my aunt's meds. When I finally got them on the phone, they lied to me about my aunt's prescription.My aunt and I were told two different stories about her meds.Please don't go to this store,you won't get the help you need and I will be going to another pharmacy for my meds and shopping needs.People time and money are just as valuable as Walgreens want our money.

I was able to find a lot of things I needed. Actually went in to pick up something from the pharmacy and ended up with a buggy full of deals. They had lots of good prices on snacks and other items

Usually when I go this location I receive very good service from the young lady at the register.But today when I went there the old white lady at the register was very very rude. While scanning my product she ask for the id asking i can only sell this product to u if you’re “UNDER 40” and my age is 20 and usually people tell me i even look 15 years old. And she made me feel old,old. I’m was upset and while going i ask ger dont i look under 40 and she said naah i cant tell

I have never had a good experience interacting with the Pharmacy staff at this location or any other Walgreens location in Jefferson county Alabama. I have no negative review for the retail staff because I rarely interact with them because I am trying to get away as fast as I can from the GOD AWFUL atmosphere that the Pharmacy staff WREEKS!!! I get no pleasure from posting this review but something really needs to be done about the culture of the Walgreens Pharmacy staff to help them enjoy their jobs and treat they're customers better. The culture at Walgreens Pharmacy is the worst.

From the time I entered your store (I am guessing you are a manager...very pretty,tall, shoulder length caramel/brown hair, bright skin) today you were smiling and happy. When I needed help you were glad to assist me and you went out of your way to double-check the item that was on sale. After leaving your store and coming back because I had lost my phone you were kind enough to call the number or I would have never found it in the buggy bin! I can't understand why each n every single time I have some type of error or issue with the lomb avenue location when it's regarding any prescription I have or called in or on hold? It's literally always incorrect. I make unnecessary trips to pick up and there not ready. Or the Dr can call in and they have to send me around town looking for my medicine. I think the store inside is great the manager goes outta her way to order n reorder my tan wipes without fail so the pharmacy is the only area I have a issue with each time I use them. I'm considering 🤔 another place for my business because its simple mistakes that are totally making me drive around wait in line or me call my Dr and the leg work. I need something easy simple and you guys make it hard to continue using your pharmacy. Your convenience is good your manager is very good but again another problem today with Walgreens on lomb avenue. The inside to pharmacy is closed now only the drive thru is open. I would like to keep my current business with them but it's really frustrating 😕. They seem to be distracted 😕.

I have called in to speak to Pharmacy was put on hold for 27 minutes was next caller. They picked up and hung up on me. Called back again to be told that the staff is answering other calls. Someone keeps picking up and placing me back on hold. Again now I have waisted 46 minutes. I would not want anything from this store. They have the worst service ever. They don't deserve any stars.

I really hate we had to leave CVS. The level of customer service in the Bessemer Walgreens is none. They're either have lazy or untrained staff. There are issues a lot of the time with filling my prescriptions. I'm back and forth from my doctor to them. My prescriptions show several refills because I've just talk to my doctor 30 days before then but when I call them in and go to pick them up they're telling me I have no refills. They say they will call my doctor but don't so I have to call my doctor once again. They are rude and cut me off when I ask to double check. This back and forth thing is just getting ridiculous.

Today(2/18/21) I have called Walgreens several times the phone rang continuously and I was put on hold without anyone acknowledging my call several times . And when someone finally answered they put on me hold then disconnected my call. PEOPLE CALL WALGREENS IN HOOVER COMMONS MUCH BETTER SERVICE!!!

I recently came in on Wednesday night to get my prescription filled but was told that I could not get it filled there the reason they told me that the prescription was written in Tuscaloosa where I go to the doctor but I live 29miles from Tuscaloosa and 10miles from Bessemer. They still would not fill it I went to CVS and got it filled no problem. I feel like I'm being discriminated against be I'm 60years old on disability a Indian and live just across the line in Tuscaloosa Co.. I will never nor my family ever shop at Walgreens

Terrible location, definitely go to either another Walgreens or the CVS down the street, staff is lazy and unhelpful. Then I try to contact the store to sit on hold for 22 minutes to then be hung up on.
