Don't ever purchase appliances from Lowe's, any location. If you pay cash, you have 48 hours to report defective itemsAnd the salesperson will not tell you this is their policy. Furthermore, the corporate customer service department will not help you either. You bought it, it's yours, you keep it whether it works or not, they do not care and WILL NOT provide customer service.1-31-24 In response to the "Response from the owner" - TOTAL CRAP - Lowe's got their money $ 527.86 for the range - and an additional $ 396.61 for a protection plan, that is no good. All I keep getting told is that they don't make exceptions to their appliance returns (note - due to a kitchen remodel - the stove was taken out of the box 7 days over the 30 day "return window") - that is, for some they do but not everyone.... I will make sure every builder and contractor I know knows how little Lowe's truly cares about their business - they just want your money.

Today in Lowe’s Bessemer I experienced outstanding customer service from Craig ,Tosha, and another woman at customer service (I cannot remember her name). I truly appreciate Craig and Tosha helping me. Craig by going out of his area and trying to locate an item for me in lighting and Tosha calling in a favor to search for an item at another store. The other woman for ringing my items and them all for being so kind in a very stressful store environment. They stepped up to the plate and showed their excellence. Thank you for your awesome assistance today!

Just had my washer and dryer delivered, and installed. The washing machine leaked, tried to call the installer about it. No help, called Lowe's couldn't get anyone out for days. Had water on my floor. Will not be getting any appliances from them. They use 3rd party delivery. This is the second time having a problem with the delivery. Done.

Customer service is Perfect in the garden center From Bobby taking the the time out to notice me and ask me did I need any help and very helpful with what I needed to find and recommendation was outstanding he showed how important customer service is makes shopping much more fun and wanting to come visit again.

My husband ordered multiple supplies to be shipped to our house to remodel our bathroom. The majority of the supplies were out of stock so it had to be delivered. My husband took off work and waited all day for his order. We called multiple times throughout the day because the tracking was not updating at all. We were told our window was 9am-9pm and that someone would call us within 30 minutes of delivering our order. We get an email at 6pm that the delivery is delayed. No call. No apologies. So my husband took off for no reason and lost a day of pay. We will be canceling the order.

Bought privacy fence panels for a project at home. Took the crew 3 hours to load said panels. 8 out of the 23 that were loaded were different panels. Called store to explain what happened was told they would see what they could do (about them loading the wrong item lol) and call me back. Huge surprise no call. Night store manager is a joke. Kept telling the undertrained staff that was trying to help get my order filled to hurry up and just get it done, they asked him for help twice, because they had to get ready to close the store. Then repeated told the crew member that it didn't matter how it got loaded onto my trailer. Will not shop at Lowe's again and will be cancelling my Lowe's card and going to home Depot from now on.

Found what we needed but couldn't find a couple of tools we were looking at for future purchases. Demos were available but couldn't find the stock for them. Even still, self checkout got us out and on our way quickly.Update still in and out quick even the day after Christmas and the customer rep was super helpful when I asked about a products location.

Great place to go for home improvement. Prices are comparable lots of name brands. The only issue we had was customer service and employees are rude and not very helpful it's a good thing to know what you need when you come in and where it is located.

Decent supply of not during peak times. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT think you are going to get help in the store to find an item or items you are hunting for and definitely do not rely upon any advice or instructions you may need or solicit for any type of diy home project or repair... ain't gonna happen. If you want to pay $40 for an Energizer headlamp or $4 a unit for paper towels, find them on your own, check yourself out and then get the third degree when you try to return WITH A RECEIPT the VALUE PACK of 6 command hooks that you purchased the day before because you realize that value pack cost $30 after tax, well then look no further, this is the store for you.

Very inefficient delivery process. Save yourself the headache and shop at another store. The associates at the local store do not know whats going on ever, and getting anyone to help on the phone is hopeless. Lowes needs to polish their delivery process. You either get defective products, or don’t get the product at all.2/6/24 Update: Our order was delivered after some mishaps.

Love the store! Wayne and a lot of the older staff are very knowledgeable and very helpful while most of the others are just there. Customer service could use some adjustments. Always clean, but know where you are trying to look or expect to spend a longer than needed time there.

We were on a mission to purchase a ceiling fan for pawpaw.. ceiling fan requirements: must be a flush mount and no light fixture. We did not find one to match his request...but we did get to climb over a bunch of random stuff in the aisle! 🤪

Horrible service from the customer service section to the employee that dragged me all around the store in order to finish her curbside pick ups, and then finally get me loaded. EVERYONE at the customer service return and pick up area just chit chatting.

For the 3rd time in a year I've tried to use curbside pickup from this location. All 3 times I waited for more than 20 mins after checking in with the app and giving my parking space number. All 3 times I had to cancel the order because it was never brought to the car. The most pathetic customer service you can imagine. Why even have curbside if you cannot do it? Avoid this place if you can.

Terrible. Online status on orders are not followed. Waste of time had guys waiting to install floors and they keep telling him that they don't have the order ready even thought it should be same day. Ordered yesterday and they are telling him it wont be ready until after 5pm today. Same thing with carpet. 2 days of wasted labor. Have been on hold FOREVER attempting to speak to a manager. Will NEVER order from here for future projects.

Went to this location yesterday morning. Doors were not open at 6am on regular entrance. I was told they start on pro end. So I guess non pros are not as important. Here's an idea. Have multiple key holders open the doors !??? Also this store is a mess... I won't even get into the potential safety issues on lumber side or I'd be here all day. Only reason I gave two stars is the associate I dealt with ( James ) was very helpful and had a good attitude !!!

The sales associate, Mike, who assisted me in picking out the new paints I needed for an upcoming project was very friendly and knowledgeable. We discussed the different brands and types of paint, painting accessories, etc.. and it quickly became very clear to me that Mike really knows his stuff!🎯 How refreshing! I strongly recommend Lowe's in Bessemer for all of your home improvement needs!

Just purchased my first appliance from Lowes. The salesman went in the back and told me they had one in stock. He set it up to be delivered the following Tuesday. I took a day off waiting on my delivery. Finally I contacted the store and was told my order was scheduled for the following next Wednesday. Which was another week Hadn't I called the store I wouldn't have known anything about it. Now I'm furious somebody dropped the ball somewhere along the way. The forgot to put sold on the one I purchased and someone else sold it to another customer. I called and asked for a MOD and held on for 40 minutes. I think this is bad business and a very unorganized facility first impression is the last impression.🙄🙄

Very spacious environment. Nice people when you get 1. They are all busy, I get it! They are very patient with their coustomers. I like that. They try and help you on what you need to get. I've been going to Lowe's for some years now. I love it there. My daughter enjoys it. She loves looking at the lighted up areas and ceiling fans. Lol

I had the most harmless experience I had ever had at Lowe's in Bessemer I would tell anybody to stay away from the Lowe's in Bessemer do not ever spend your money there there's some of the rudest people in that place when I tried to talk to the management the management act like I had a disease because he really didn't care what was going on and what kind of problem and he really didn't want to fix it he really did not need the job he needed to be unemployed he did not need to be a manager you needed to be an employee he did not know how to handle it I would have rather spent my money at a very expensive hardware store

Lowes has really gone down in the last few years. Store is messy. Aisles are blocked by merchandise that hasn't been stocked. Paint department does the bare minimum when getting paint tinted.

I went in to buy a refrigerator. I had the pleasure of working with Rodrick. He was helpful in making sure I purchased one that would fit the dimensions I brought with me. I was informed that it would be delivered on Sunday. It was delivered within the time frame.The delivery men were friendly and efficient. They hooked up the water line to the refrigerator. The only thing I didn't like is that Lowes doesn't give a military discount on appliances or lawnmowers.
